Love is really in teh air!
I thought this book had a good life lesson behind it. But like most Nicholas Spark books it was a little sad. You just have to go in knowing it's kind of a tough read as far as that goes but that is how many of his books are. It was good but not my favorite of his.
I'd seen the movie, but had never read the book. Until now...so many years later. It was so incredibly sad, but very real. Mr. Sparks has a gift for accurately describing emotions and feelings, and translating them onto a written page. Because my husband and I are experiencing something similar in our lives as we watch our parents struggle with spouses who have alzheimers and picks disease, this book hit home. It reminded me that every day is a blessing, and I pray that my husband and I will live out our lives with clear minds and good health. Things we tend to take for granted.
The Choice, was an exceptionally heart rendering novel. A tender and moving love story. It reiterates the opinion that sometimes Hope is all a man has to offer and to hold onto.
