This book was a really good book I would of gave it 5 stars but the beginning started off slow and i didn’t know where the story was going

But midway threw the book , I found myself not putting it down. i even brung the book to the gym with me because at first i just found myself putting the book down and couldn’t get into it

It’s a good story because it’s not what you expected, to me the twists and turns made it a great book. Definitely different than any other books i read very creative and out side the box

I did feel like the ending left me hanging and i wanted more maybe an ebook sequel should be written to please this wonderful mind

Really enjoyed this book and the journey of Mercedes in her love life. Many women should be able to relate to her character, in how "baggage" or our childhood can affect how or if we ever learn to love.

A pleasant final 30-page awakening and convenient blossom into maturity to put a neat little bow on things doesn't erase the other 80% of this shallow, cornball Poetic Justice from Temu ass book. Don't try to manipulate me.

Good ending. I just didn't care for the strong language throughout. It's not my usual read, so maybe some readers don't find the language a problem

I love Electa Rome Parks. She's a great storyteller and one of my favorite authors. I scour sites to find books of hers that I might have missed.
This book didn't disappoint. She manged to capture Mercedes's story (childhood sexual abuse, absent neglectful mother, the way she deals with sex and relationships as an adult) in a little over 200 pages. I couldn't put it down and finished it in one sitting.
