Though old (for a bridge book) and thus not covering some modern bidding conventions (e.g. Jacoby), this is an excellent book for intermediate bridge players. It is very well explained, well written, and with good examples throughout.

Not so modern, but still very useful for SAYC. I would recommend this, but with reservations.
