This book introduces the 200 most popular games in the world rule book and chances to win in short and concise way. Recommended if you are interested to find the basic rules of winning most games.

Playing cards is somewhat an old-fashioned pass-time, but every once in a while a technology-free evening is a godsend, and sometimes, as in a blackout, the only choice. In those cases, having Hoyle's on hand is a must, since I don't play cards enough to remember the rules off the top of my head. This book is also good for solving arguments about the rules. Sometimes it comes along with me on longer camping trips as well.

According to Hoyle: The World-Famous Book on Rules of Games by Richard L. Frey (Fawcett Crest 1970) (795). This book contains the rules to a number of the most popular card, dice, and board games (cribbage, backgammon). One glaring omission which I'll bet has been corrected in later editions of this guide is the rules to what is reportedly the most popular board game in the world: Go! My rating: 7/10, finished 12/17/14.

This is a re-purchase of a book my Dad owns. I read/referenced that book (old and tattered as it was) as a child wanting to learn different form of patience. It was/is great.
