Jocelyn Fox is my newest favorite author!
The worlds on both sides of the gate are so real that I felt I could smell the spices in the food and the heat or cold in each environment.
The characters are so well drawn that I knew them and cared about them. Their adventures were alive and I experienced every one with each of the characters. Every page was a joy to read that I couldn’t wait to get back to when I had to take a break. This series is nothing short of brilliant.

What?
What can one say about a wonderful Fae tale? I enjoy reading about all of the different adventures of Tess the bearer of the iron sword. Vell the high queen mercenary. There are so many characters. The seelie and unseelie courts and queens. The seafearers Mal a merrow. So many very interesting adventures. The healers and Alexander. Great series.

4610 page journey of delight. I couldn’t put this book of books down, never a slow moment. Enjoyable world building. I look forward to reading the related two series and hope this author visits this world in other spinoffs. A few detail consistency errors which are a little distracting, but I will definitely reread this series in the future.

Fantastic
I enjoyed all seven books, they were written with an unabashed sheer joy and the will of Tess, Liam, Luca and Vell written throughout the books. The characters were realistic and they filled a with joy and happiness when the world seemed dark and foreboding Tess and co prevailed. Well done Jocelyn the books are a credit to you.

I !loved this series!
I love the characters and the twists and turns in the storylines, the way it made me smile and laugh and even cry a bit in places. I could escape reality which I needed right now and love the way the author draws you into the store. I hated when it was over. Recommend it wholeheartedly!

A great read
Enjoyed the books a great deal, read them 1 after the other. Though I did find my interest tailing off on the last book why I didn’t give it 5star. Perhaps a break might have been better. The seafarers didn’t really seem to amount to as much as I had expected. Still saying that read them if you like old fashion legendary Elves

A fairy story
For grown ups.
I enjoyed reading these Chronicles.
I found the books which slipped from place to place each chapter a bit disjointed.
Had to slow down a bit with those books. But the others are an easy read.

Amazingly addictive series
I wasn’t sure I’d like this series, but I became obsessed with it! Well-developed characters, plot twists, intricate storylines—what’s not to love? I didn’t want it to end!

astounding
I have been a reader of sci-fi and fantasy books for over 65 years and have not been blessed like this in the past 15 years. This has been a tale from beginning to end that has kept me spellbound like few others. I almost cried when it ended. What an author you are.

Fairies and Humans
A wonderful series that tells the history of the return of glory to the fairy kingdoms after a long interregnum where they were under the thumb of evil. In a mixture of old and new the intertwining of our world and theirs returns fairyland to its former glory

When I started the Fae War Chronicles I couldn’t finish reading the pages fast enough. This is well written and well thought out. Great epic saga.

Stories within stories make this a great series. A variety of charactors well developed.

Couldn’t put it down. Brilliant story line. It flowed telling the story and kept you enthralled. Loved the characters and how they all came together.
