This is the first book I have read by A J Summers and it surely will not be the last one. I am obsessed with Off Limits Silver Fox and omg...Gareth is swoon worthy! I loved both Hailey and Gareth - their story is beautiful. These two were easy to love and I found myself relating with them and the hardships they faced throughout the story. The cover for this book is exactly how I would picture Gareth. It irritates me when the cover for a book does not match the description of the characters - it takes away from my overall experience and this one did not disappoint.
The beginning of this book had me laughing so hard my stomach hurt. The description given for the first time Hailey meets her new boss Gareth is what nightmares are made of when it comes to an employees first day. Gareth does not make it easy for Hailey to work with him, but he has to protect himself. He was hurt really bad in the past and has no desire for a repeat. Gareth has a daughter with his ex-wife and at the moment she is his number one focus. However, the chemistry between Gareth and Hailey is off the charts and it doesn't take long for them to succumb to their burning desire for one another.
What happens when Gareth's past experiences dictate his reactions to the present? His life blows up and he can no longer think rationally. Things that should be perfectly clear to him become so clouded that they lead Gareth to say and/or do hurtful things to Hailey. Their relationship has been put through the wringer and only they can save it. At this point is it even possible for them to move past the damage that has been done to find a new beginning for their lives together?

This was an age gap grumpy enemies to lovers romance.
Hailey Graham is a new hire at Payne Technologies. She is a cyber security engineer brought on for a high profile project to create software to make it harder to hack election machines and tamper with the results. She needs the job to help pay her mother's medical bills and sister's tuition to Yale.
Gareth Payne is the CEO of Payne Technologies. He is divorced from a manipulative woman and has a 12 year old daughter Amber. He is grumpy, dislikes disorganization and doesn't suffer fools gladly. He zealously guards his privacy especially from the media.
On Hailey's first day she embarrassed herself in front of Gareth and her team mates by ogling him and being unprepared. Despite his disdain for her actions, Gareth finds himself wildly attracted to her but knows he can't do anything about it. After working late many nights on the project Gareth makes the first move and kisses her. They hook up in the office before heading to her apartment. They begin a secret affair. They break up multiple times, due in large part to his ex-wife's interference before reconciling and getting their HEA.

Hailey starts working for Gareth and she is almost immediately attracted to him. She figures, though, that nothing will happen because he's grumpy and bossy and only sees her as a lowly employee. Of course, that really couldn't be further from the truth and Gareth is attracted to her to, but he's wary because of things that have happened in the past. Soon they can't resist each other and start a secret affair. However, given the way that Gareth's ex hurt him, will he be able to trust that Hailey isn't trying to use him or manipulate the situation to get what she wants? And when his ex finds out what's going on, is she going to keep quiet (of course NOT!). Will there be a way to find happily ever after?
I loved both of these characters, they were fun and acted appropriately even when they were in bad situations. Gareth was a little bit scary at first, but he just didn't want to get hurt again, which most of us can relate to! Hailey is young, but she's also loyal, so she had to show Gareth that it's not always the way he had experienced it.

Our story begins with Hailey , a cyber security engineer, as the new hire for a tech company managing election security. Gareth is the drop-dead gorgeous "silver fox" CEO of the company, with an ex-wife and teen daughter in tow. Hailey and Gareth are both immediately drawn to one another, and each for their own reasons is avoiding a new relationship. What follows is the inevitable roller coaster that comes with inter-office relationships, scandal-mongers, and conniving ex-wives.
I struggled a bit to get through this book, wanting to walk away more than once, but it does pay off at multiple points in the story. An unexpected plot twist provides the resolution we need, and the HEA is worth the read.

This was a good book with lots of drama, angst from an ex and chemistry that's off the charts. Hailey and Gareth meet when she goes to work for his company as a cyber-security expert. She's brilliant but gets all tongue-tied around him. Their attraction is off the charts, but they try to ignore it. They don't want to upset their professional relationship or his daughter. When chemistry wins, what happens when the ex tries to sabotage everything? What happens when she finds out she is expecting? How does his daughter react? Twists and drama to keep you emotionally involved. A good story that will keep you page turning. I read a free advance copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.

Off Limits Silver Fox is the fantastic story of Hailey Graham and Gareth Payne. Hailey is a cyber-security engineer who works for Gareth at Payne Technologies. Their first meeting was interesting to say the least. They are working close together on a project for the upcoming elections. Things start to get a little complicated and very interesting one day after something happens. This is where it gets hilariously funny and you will find yourself laughing out loud. It also gets even more complicated (if you could just imagine). This story is full of twists and turns which will make you go hmmm and cause you to have all of the feels. This book was brilliantly written and I definitely enjoyed reading it. I can’t wait to read more. 😊❤️

A very ill prepared Hailey arrives at her new job and make a very bad impression. But is it? She certainly has the attention of her new boss. Is there anything Hailey can do to prove she is not a fool she seems to be? Just as everything starts to go right it all falls apart- others are at play here and they seem very much in control. A good read.

When Hailey comes face to face with the CEO of the company, she will be working with she is floored by him because he is not what she was expecting and if that wasn't enough, she is caught looking at him. Gareth is drawn to his new cyber security worker as well and when things heat up between them, the drama does as well. Will their relationship survive what is coming and make it to a happily ever after.

Age-gap & boss/employee trope. Hailey and Gareth have various awkward encounters when she first arrives to work at his company. Eventually, a secret relationship develops between them, but someone is determined to keep them apart. The story was well written, and the villain was both expected and unexpected. It was intriguing to continue to read until the end and see how it all ended.

Tear Jerker
There are a lot of poignant moments in this book. The main characters not only grab each others hearts, they do so to the reader as well. By the same token you will hate the villains of this tale. So settle back in your comfy chair and prepare to be blown away.

This book will keep you turning the pages to find out what is going to happen next. The book is about a new employee Hailey who on her first day of work has lots of mishaps. Her much older boss Gareth is smoking Hot, and Hailey has eyes for him. Over time the two develop a sexual relationship that has it's ups and downs. Gareth has an ex-wife Linda who will stop at nothing to make her ex-husband's life a living hell for not only him, but his relationship with his teenage daughter, Amber.
This book will have you keep turning the pages to find out what is going to happen next, and just when you think you have it figured out another new twist happens. I can honestly say I will recommend this book to my friends, but it's a book I would read again.
