Christy es una famosa presentadora de televisión que en un arrebato de pasión tuvo una noche con Drew Michaels, actor y escritor de mucho renombre, pero cuando la pasión pasó Christy se arrepintió y se fue corriendo del lugar... Tres años después, Drew vuelve por una revancha y es a partir de allí que la historia nos presenta otra faceta de Christy y Drew está dispuesto a cuidar de ella...
Realmente si la historia hubiese tenido un poco más de romance y un poco menos de histeriquismo por parte de la protagonista, no me molestaba. Drew me cayó bien pero ella uffff, quería pedirle que dejara de gritar un poco, solo con ver signos por todos lados ya me daba cuenta que la pobre es una histérica de primera y jamás le dio la oportunidad a el de comportarse de alguna buena manera para demostrarle que la quería. Fue una lectura meh.

The heroine got ridiculous as the story go. I would like to put tape over her mouth because she never shuts up. Always yelling, screaming, snapping at people around her, of course, mostly in the company of the hero. Very undemure, very bitchy, very bitter, yup she is. She likes to make public scenes, not on purpose you know but you would think the lady would have some self awareness at her age.

The book opened right up to the pages of the heroine’s doing her hit and run. We don’t get to see the lurve club in action, but we were told they just shared a passionate night together. It was definitely lust and not love. Simply, the author failed to add significant flashback to support why MCs went to bed. Hence, I don’t know why they jumped into bed nor what really lead them there in the first place. Except, of course, it was explained that it was bound to happen as she was overtook by her desire and passions for the good looking man so naturally they bedded…but too ashamed of her wild behaviors afterward, mostly thinking he’s some seducer and cad she jetted. Boy, he did try to stop her twice but homegirl snapped at him all the same. Blah blah blah, next day we get a cringe moment of her on “set” interviewing him before fast forwarding three years I presumed and they eventually meet again. Anyways, this girl made a whole scene over a dining table, yall. Idk, this heroine is so entitled and bad——not in a good way at all. Soon, another interview was supposed to take place between them but this time at his home…he flew piloted them over to Scotland for the weekend but poor weather and shitty fuel made them have an unexpected landing. This is where I would like to tape the heroine’s mouth for good. She was all blaming him, getting hysterical and angry with everything. Yes, it’s all his fault they were stranded in the middle of the wilderness but I dare say he leaves her there and call it a loss—-a good loss. He doesn’t need her ever. Don’t know what he ever saw in her but after that escapade and meeting her again, he should have come his full senses and see her for who she really was. An unattractive specie of a woman and someone he can do without. And since we have zero insight of their initial meeting and the supposed budding love/romance/chemistry between them I still don’t see why and how he may have found her a slight bit attractive in the damn first place. What was their love and chemistry?
