Her anger is bitter. Her desire is sweet. Both riot against my tongue as my head swims with the taste of Asher Wells.
I live for a good second chance romance, and I've been eagerly anticipating this one for months. I loved the first book in this series and if you haven't read that yet, I highly recommend you do. Though you could easily read this one as a standalone, it's so much better when you get the different dynamics that is the Sharpe triplets. They may look the same, but they have their own sharp edges that were molded in their own different and unique relationship with their father. Callahan offered one view, but Ledger brings a completely different one.
Ledger ran from the small town of Cedar Falls years ago, but he never forgot the girl he fell hard and fast for. Now a business opportunity forces him back to the town he couldn't run faster from and face to face with the woman he would have thought would be long gone. Now admittedly, I spent half the book waiting for the other shoe to drop to the usual cliche small town second chance scenario. I'm happy to say this book wasn't that. Ledger and Asher have history, but they each have a very different recollection of it. As they're both forced to spend time together, they soon realize how different their version is from the other.
Ledger is eager to get to know this grown up Asher, while Asher is much more hesitant to open the door back to the man who once shattered her heart. I loved their slow burn rekindling, though I did find it a bit slow paced in parts.
This was a steamy and sweet second chance romance, low on the angst but with plenty of feels, and it hit all the spots. I simply adore this series and can't wait for the next one!

Fifteen years ago, when his family was vacationing in Montana, those two spent some amazing summers together. Until one day when all their hopes and promises were destroyed - each thinking it was the other's fault. Now Ledger is back in town to oversee the renovation of his family's new resort. And Asher is also still in town - she never left to go to art school the way she always wanted.
Can there be a second chance for Ash and Ledge? READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT!

Well, I really enjoyed reading this. I liked the whole small-town, resort, lavender fields, the one that got away, second-chance atmosphere. So many years have gone by and there's still this mega attraction between our two darlings. So adorable. But he's a big city billionaire business man and she's a small town lavender farmer. How could they ever end up together happily ever after? We'll probably know by the end of the book! 😁
Can't wait to see what Ford will have to tell us in the final book!
ON ONE CONDITION was such an adorable + sparky + lavendery + sweet second-chance love story! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Ledger - he'll be sold out in no time!
4 'My Lavender Girl' Stars! ARC provided via Valentine PR in exchange for an honest review.
Bromberg continues her S.I.N series with the oldest Sharpe brother and his second chance at love with the reunion with his summer relationship from fifteen years ago. And of course, Kristy did a wonderful job! This series has all the good aspects we love from this author’s writing style and the outstanding characters she creates. Ledger and Asher are no exception, so I am sure you’ll adore them together and reading their emotional and steamy reconnection.
So, On One Condition is the second installment in the S.I.N series and, as I said, it focuses on the oldest Sharpe twin: Ledger. Ledger is “forced” to go back to the place he escaped from fifteen years ago, leaving the girl he loved behind. He doesn’t expect to find her there after so many years and the past and their hurting is still between them. Asher Wells is also going through a tough time and the last thing she expects is to reunite with his moonlight boy. Their chemistry and connection are very much alive and burning so what will happen this time? Can Ledger and Ash finally be together without obstacles?
“Everything I thought was certain didn’t feel so certain anymore once I saw her again.”
Are you ready to fall even more in love with the Sharpe brothers? We first loved Callahan and now it’s time for Ledger. I am a sucker for second-chance romance and Kristy did a very good job with this one. I loved reading how Ledge and Ash fell in love all those years ago and how their connection is still burning fifteen years later. It’s not easy for them to forget the past and to not be affected by the circumstances that drew them apart, but love is stronger than any of that. And of course, their chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS so trust me when I say you don’t want to miss this!
There is no greater pleasure for me than her. None.
Therefore, I am rating On One Condition with 4 STARS because it was an amazing continuation to the stories of the Sharpe brothers. I loved getting to know more about Ledger and his beautiful love story with Asher. I do love a second-chance romance and it was such a treat to read this one. Yes, I do have to confess that I did love more the first book in the series but still this one grabbed my attention from start to finish and I loved every second of reading it!
Ledger Sharpe is the firstborn of identical triplets that grew up as part of New York City’s elite. He’s a successful businessman who runs Sharpe International with his two brothers. He’s ridiculously wealthy, a planner, loves negotiating and likes to be in control. He has high standards, and when he sets goals he meets them. His family has made a name for themselves in the hospitality industry, and their newest project is an old hotel they are transforming into a resort. The only problem is this small Montana town isn’t interested in their big city mentality and have decided to give them a hard time. He will have to spend two months there and jump through hoops before they can proceed with opening their resort. He swore he’d never step foot in Cedar Falls again, and now he’s stuck there having to revisit the past. He hasn’t seen Asher Wells since he was a teenager and he’s never forgotten her. As their attraction is reawakened there’s a new desire to get to know the woman she’s become. Is it too late, or will he get a second chance at love?
Asher Wells has lived on a farm in the same small town her whole life. The lavender fields were her legacy and had been in her family for generations. She’s trying to make ends meet and map out her future when the boy who once said he’d love her forever returns to town. Ledger Sharpe made her feel special, and then he left without a word. It’s been fifteen years, and their connection is still strong, but she’s not interested in a walk down memory lane. They come from completely different worlds, and she can’t take another heartbreak, but she also can’t deny their chemistry and how he still affects her. Will they get attached again or walk away?
On One Condition by K. Bromberg is the second book in the S.I.N. series. It’s a standalone, small town, billionaire romance about family, first loves, and second chances. Opposites attract and we get a beautiful love story with all the feels! I adore this series and can’t wait for more!!! <333
Its okay. Dual POV. Second chance romance. They do the old 'I don't want to talk about the past' when obviously they need to talk about the past. To be fair the Hero pushes it, so they do around 40%ish. 15 years separation. Hero says 'I’ve had many lovers since then, many women who’ve occupied my bed' 'I’m not a player by any means, but I’m also not one who pursues my exes once we’ve parted ways.'
The heroine also says she has had relationships of sorts, but none of them particularly satisfying. Grrrr.
No intimate details other than the Hero and heroine. It's the old troupe, I'm only here temporarily so we will have sex but no feelings as I'm leaving.
Reason for separation. Misunderstandings.
Heroine's POV. '“The last thing he needs is someone like her to bring him down,” a masculine voice says. But the voice definitely isn’t Pop’s. Nosy, I head down the hall without thought, curiosity and dread on equal footing. “He has a bright future ahead of him, an empire to run, and I won’t have him sidetracked by a motherless girl with no pedigree and no future. This is non-negotiable. Do you understand?” “You have no right to come in here and order us around. We’re not your—” “He’s my son. I have every right to look out for his best interests. And she’s not it.”'
He tells her she's not the only girl.
His dad tells him that the heroine's family threatened to charge him with rape. So they leave. His dad says he fixed it and it's best never to contact the heroine again.
HEA. Epilogue 1 year later.

If you love second chance romances, then dive right into On One Condition by K. Bromberg. This is book two in the S.I.N. series, but can easily be read as a standalone. It’s about three identical triplet brothers who grew up wealthy with all the perks including guidance from their father in how to succeed in business. The father passed away recently, and the three Sharpe brothers continue his legacy and are at the top of their game building luxury, high-end resorts.
In book one, The Last Resort, Callahan meets his now wife, Sutton, when the former playboy and more slacker of a brother was sent to one of their properties in the Virgin Islands with the directive to fix the problems or he’s out of the family business. Of course he does a bang up job and gets the girl, and now it’s his brother, Ledger’s turn to fall.
As teens, the three brothers summered in Cedar Falls, Montana, and it is during that time that Ledger met Asher Wells, our sweet small-town girl with a big heart and even bigger dreams. For three summers they were young lovers until something unexpected happens and they never see each other again. Both were left bewildered and heartbroken, never to speak again until 15 years later.
The author drew me in from the very beginning and I loved their entire journey from the first page to the last. I truly believe what happens in your past shapes who you are as adults, and Ledger never forgot the one who got away. I am a sucker for small-town romance, and Asher never saw him or judged him as the son of billionaire. Their pull is instant and while they are hesitant, they can’t help but want to get to know one another again, and finally get the closure and answers they need.
I admired her trying to keep a distance and his persistence in trying. The story is artfully told with flashbacks into the past in dual points of view, and it was really beautiful to read how they openly communicated and moved forward with forgiveness and hope, even after learning the devastating truth of what tore them apart.
Ledger is only in town for two months to follow-up on the final phase of their latest resort, which gives them plenty of time for long walks in the lavender fields that her family owned and was recently passed down to her. But he’s not staying and she knows she can’t survive her heart being shattered for the second time, but they can't deny their feelings. Their lives are so vastly different, yet when they are together, nothing else matters.
Asher was strong, beautiful and resilient. Rejected by the town because of her mother’s actions, she held her head high even when she was deeply hurting. I loved her passion and growth and how she never expected or asked anything of Ledger. I loved her drive and loyalty to her grandparents who raised her, and her vision and perseverance for her family business, The Fields, that desperately needs to turn a profit.
Ledger was a planner. He was smart and rigid and really had no life outside of work and his time with his brothers. He was the city boy, had the best education, and was raised to be focused and goal oriented. Asher bought a softness to him. He slowed down, was more relaxed and completely content with her by his side. There are sweet dates, a big romantic gesture, and all kinds of steamy sexy times as these two reconnect and they realize no one else in their 15 years apart could ever compare. Their connection never faded or lost its spark. She loved him for him, not the billionaire businessman, but the man standing before her in the lavender fields.
These two did not have it easy and the author will take you on their journey as they reveal secrets that only bring them closer. I loved how they worked through the past and how even though their lives were so vastly different now, that they were able to work it out. Love the meaning of “On One Condition”–that you’ll love me forever.
Asher had her guard up through most of the book–her mother, teen Ledger, and pretty much the entire town rejected her. It was emotional to read how she had been beaten down by life, but our girl doesn’t compromise her values and finally gets her own HEA with an epilogue that had me smiling from ear to ear. You will be routing for her the entire time and wishing you could be her friend in real life. I love a fierce heroine who isn’t pretentious, isn’t afraid of hard work, and wants to make it on her own.
I loved Ledger’s relationship with his brothers and all their witty banter and support of one another. I highly recommend The Last Resort featuring Callahan and Sutton, On One Condition featuring Ledger and Asher, and Final Proposal coming soon, featuring Ford, the last brother to fall.
This is a beautifully written second chance love story. I teared up about Asher’s troubled past. Then when the lies are reveled from Ledger and Asher’s teen years that tore them apart, my heart caught in my throat. Asher is a strong, determined woman dealing with so much heartache - I just loved her. And. She has a terrific best friend which I always love to see - Nita is always there to set Asher straight, support her, and just be there with wine.
A favorite part? When 8 year old Tootie meets Ledger: “I’m Tootie.” “Tootie?”“Yep. It’s short for Trudy because who names a kid Trudy these days? So I made up my own version of it that suits me better.” I feel like I’m talking to a thirty-year-old with her matter-of-fact statements, but that little giggle she gives reaffirms I’m not. Tootie rocks. I loved all the Tootie banter!
I melted when Ledger said “You are Asher Wells, my lavender girl, and maker of her own destiny”. I cheered when Asher found her strength and her own new dreams and went for it and when Ledger spoils her beyond those dreams, I couldn’t stop smiling. But when Ledger finally, yes finally admits his true feelings? I was dead. Ended. Big fat tears at the end of this one.
In other words, this book is an emotional read and will definitely get to you. A second chance at love that’s so heartwarming, sometimes heartbreaking, and has so many feels, you won’t want to put it down.
The oldest Sharpe triple 2nd chance in love novel in a small town Cedar Falls, where they are building their latest luxury resort is where he runs into the only women he loved and lost. Ledger & Asher were summer vacation first loves.
Ledger Sharpe was told by his father that Asher family had a secret so big that it would ruin his life and he always must have a 7 year plan on his next big thing. Ledger always pushed to have the biggest and better and the grandest and last to be in Forbes magazine. But after all that what did he have nothing but his memories of the only girl who broke his heart. That was until the lastest resort needed his presents in Cedar Fall, Montana the vacation spot his father took him and his identical triples every year. Never imagining the girl of his dreams would still be in the same town.
Ledger has months to abide by towns Mayor request in order to get resort opened by projected date but he has one distraction Asher!!!!
On One Condiction is the second book in the S.I.N series that follows the story of three triplets finding love. Here we have a story of second chances between Ledger and Asher and I must say this book is captivating from start to finish.
The book is told from a double point of view and at times going back to the roast to explain what went wrong fifteen years ago that made these characters go their separate ways. It's a cliché story, where you already imagined the unfolding but the author has a way of telling the story of these characters that made me laugh, cheer and fall in love with them and wish that even with so many years of delay these two would get their so deserved happy ending .
This book makes a great addition to this series by bringing a sweet and captivating second-chance romance to a small town, and it has me looking forward to the last of the triplets.
On One Condition is the second book in the S.I.N. series about three triplets—Callahan, Ledger and Ford Sharpe. This is Ledger’s story. He and his brothers want to develop a resort in the town of Cedar Falls, Montana—a town where they used to visit as teenagers during the summer. It’s a town that Ledger doesn’t want to return to as he had heartbreak there with a girl, Asher, that he was in love with. The mayor of the town is requiring one of the Sharpe brothers to live there for two months if they want their permits.
Ledger is the chosen brother. Who does he run into on his first day? Asher. The girl from the wrong side of the tracks. The girl who was raised by her grandparents as her parents didn’t want her. The girl who the other townspeople look down on.
This is a wonderful second chance steamy romance. Of course, there is miscommunication of what happened between them when they were teenagers. I like that they did speak about it and learn each other’s side of what happened.
I really enjoy this author’s writing. Her characters are always so fleshed out and real. In this story, both the main characters are in their early thirties, which is always refreshing to have a bit more maturity and life under their belts.
Thank you to Valentine PR and the author for my advanced readers copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is the second book from the "S.I.N" series and it gives us Ledged story. I actually quite liked Asher and Ledger. There was a misunderstanding between them when they were younger, which is developed through the book.
Even though what happened in the past, they can still feel the same attraction between them. The sparks are also there. I do understand why they're both afraid to give themselves a second chance. But like in every romance book, they are so deep in love, they decided that now it's the time. The fire and the heat were off the charts. And it is soo soo spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️. In this department K. Bromberg never disappoints 😁.
Overall I liked their story. But sometimes I had the feeling that the pacing was a bit slow. Other than that, the book was really good ♥️.

Farklı yalanlarda Ledger'a anlatılmıştır.
On One Condition is Book 2 in the S.I.N. Trilogy. Ledger and Asher's story is a great second chance romance that you won't be able to put down. This book made me laugh, cry, and warmed my heart. I can't wait for book 3 in this series.
“This isn’t over, Asher. Not by a long shot. I’m not a patient man, but I’ve waited fifteen years to kiss you again . . . what’s a few more days?” A second chance romance that gave me all the feels! Ledger and Asher met at summer bonfire when they were just teenagers and fell in love over the subsequent summers together. But they were from different places in life and family obligations led to a lie that tore them apart. My heart ached for Asher and the way the small town of Cedar Falls treated her all over her mother’s indiscretions and even more so after Ledger left. Both were hurt by the lies that transpired and it was clear from the moment they saw each other again after 15 years apart that the spark of young love had never died! I love when the characters meet again for the first time in a second chance romance and when Ledger rolled back into town I knew he was not going to let the chance to reconnect with Asher pass him by! “Ledger is like my own personal double-edged sword. He has the ability to devastate me and put me back together without even knowing it.” Asher and Ledger had a lot of past hurt to overcome, both believing lies told to them that became part of who they were and that was not something that was going to be easily overcome. Ledger’s life was all about power and money and closing that next deal, but reconnecting with Asher showed him that slowing down and enjoying life could be part of his 10 year plan. Asher wanted to prove so much for herself, I loved the addition of how she was overhauling her families Lavender farm, the town drama, that Mayor was the worst and of course Ledger’s adorable neighbor Tootie!! Overall I really enjoyed this one, it was sexy and smart and had all those small town feels that I love! 4.5 stars for me!
(3.9 Stars) Ledger Sharpe thought his next assignment to acquire Sharpe International’s newest resort would be simple. That is until he is forced to stay in the small town of Cedar Falls to oversee the build. To make matters worse he finds out his former flame still lives there. Why is Asher Wells still there? What really happened between these two fifteen years prior. Can he get the resort up and running and the girl all in one trip? On one condition shows you the behind the scenes of getting a resort built in a small town that doesn’t want you there mixed with a slow burn, second chance romance between a rich city boy and the small town girl that got away. This was a little on the slow side in parts for me but overall I did enjoy the story and use of flashbacks so you get the full picture of what happened that break them apart. If you love small town romances with a swoon worthy hero and second chances give this one a read. Plus, the little scenes with Tootie are a hoot! You’ll see. Told in dual POV
I don't necessarily think this is a bad book. The first book was good enough to want me to continue even though I wasn't loving it. But this one fell even flatter for me.
I found the story itself very boring, which I can't blame too much on the story. I don't typically read second chance romances and I didn't really care about their past or even the conflict that tore them apart. Once that was resolved, the book kind of just...continued without anything interesting happening.
I have never read a book series centered around triplets so I was excited to read this one. However, the brothers aren't close, they don't even seem to like each other all that much which was kind of a bummer. They could have just been brothers, or even business partners, I think making them triplets and then having them not like each other was wasted potential to the story, in my opinion.
The biggest issue I had with this book was the side character of Tootie'. I think she was supposed to be this comic relief or a 'wise' character to give Ledger advice but making her a little kid made her seem really unrealistic. I get it kids are smart and they're intuitive, but the things she said and did was just too much for an 8 year old or however old she was supposed to be. She also would refer to sex in a roundabout way that made me cringe. Again a weird choice by the author, why not make her a young adult at least?
A lot of potential here but it just didn't work for me.
These triplets definitely all have a story to tell and we already heard Callahan's in The Last Resort and now we have heard Ledger's in On One Condition. Ledger is the oldest from the triplets and his father has been the hardest on him because he feels like he needs to depend on him the most and he needs to condition him to be nothing but the best because Ledger is going to be the head of the company and lead his brothers one day.
When they were younger his father would take them down to Cedar Falls for the summer and they would just go and enjoy their youth out there while his father conducted business and well Ledger met Asher Wells and he fell in love with her the minute he laid eyes on her. She always lived a harsh life around the towns people because they were always cruel to her. She was raised by her grandparents and once she grew up and wanted to go to college in NY she wanted to aspire in becoming an artist but her dream quickly got shut down when she was called back by her grandfather over her grandmother falling ill.
Asher and Ledger did not end up doing what they wanted as teenagers all because of his father and his harshness. She wasn't of their social status and he wanted nothing but the finest for his sons. He went to Asher's grandparents house to tell her that she was not allowed to ever see his son again and he came through with his promise. He told his son nothing but lies about Asher just like he did with Asher about his son.
A decade or so later he goes back to Cedar Falls about constructing a luxury hotel and he runs into Asher and he wants nothing but to explain to her how things went down all those years ago but she wants to hear nothing of it. At first she gives him a hard time, but little by little Ledger starts wearing her down. And little by little their chemistry starts to reignite and their friendship/romance starts to bloom again. Can they make it work this time around or will also be a fleeting romance?
I really enjoyed the chemistry between Ledger and Asher. For two young kids to have harbored feelings for each other for so long and even though they thought that there were no more feelings after so long, but once they saw each other again, the butterflies reignited. That just made me get butterflies for them.
K. Bromberg has a way with her words and I can't wait for the Final Proposal (Ford's story)!!
I absolutely inhaled this story in one darn sitting!

Ok so I loved and adored the Last Resort, the first instalment in the S.I.N. series following Callahan and Sutton. But let me tell you, Ledger Sharpe and Asher Wells came in and stole the show.
I thought I couldn’t love a Sharpe brother more than I loved Callahan and then I met Ledger. The eldest of the triplets, the one most hard done by, from his fathers lies and secrets and then just how much these said secrets and lies affected Asher.
TALK ABOUT SECOND CHANCE… This book is 16 years after the initially were together. And boy were those flashback chapters ones to love and adore. Watching Asher and Ledger fall in love not once but twice was beautiful, powerful and breathtaking. And this book truly had everything I crave in romance. It had dates. Where we saw these two grow and watch their love blossom. Talk about the lavender fields, holy shit…. Talk about spicy scenes, that definitely hits the favourites list. The picnic before hand, it was so sweet from Ledge. Hard rough exterior businessman goes soft the girl he’s been in love with for the past 16 years.
Everything about Ledge and Ash made me smile, swoon and sweat.
Especially their On One Condition, you’ll love me forever.
It was perfect in every sense of the word. And I’m desperate for Ford’s book. Totally see him in a single parent trope somehow. Especially after seeing Tootie and Ledger.
K. Bromberg knows how to right amazing, epic romance and this book was one of them. It’s a perfect second chance, small town romance feel with lots of spice, feels and love. I crave a solid epilogue for these books with Callahan and Sutton with their daughter, Asher and Ledger and any kiddos they have and Ford and …. as well.

What an amazing book…absolutely adored it from start to finish
KB has written a fabulous page-turner, a second chance love story that shimmers with desire and angst . Lush and gorgeously written- I didn't want it to end
Asher and Ledger meet again fifteen years later… They made promises to each other, they loved each other until one day everything changed…
When Ledger comes back to Cedar Falls, Asher recognised straight away the boy who broke her heart and left her behind … they both don’t know the truth …
Ledger has to stay in Cedar Falls for two months to secure the business contract for SIN, the Sharp Brothers Companies. He reluctantly goes back and emotions …feelings resurfaced when he sees Asher again. Why is she still in Cedar Falls? She had dreams, what happened?
On One Condition is an absolutely wonderful, unputdownable book full of delightful characters- wise, moving and full of lovely moments…
I felt every emotion reading this, and Asher and Ledger were fantastic characters- I was rooting for them the whole time.
Primul volum, “Fără regrete”, vine cu one night stand, under one roof, billionaire romance, forced proximity, forbidden love, steamy scenes, dual POV.
Al doilea volum, “Cu o condiție”, cuprinde second chance romance, small town lavender farmer, billionaire romance, the one that got away, dual POV.
I seriously love second-chance romances, especially when they’re a second chance at first love. On One Condition, the second book in K. Bromberg’s S.I.N. Series, is Asher and Ledger’s story. Kristy’s addictive storytelling is on full display in this emotionally charged, heart-tugging love story.
Through the use flashbacks, Bromberg takes readers back in time to Asher and Ledger’s youthful romance and intermingles them with the present. Their rich backstory was a bittersweet romance that ended in misunderstandings and without closure. I loved Asher, she was such a strong heroine, and she’s sacrificed so much. Ridiculously handsome and as charming as ever, Ledger was the cool and collected, totally in-control executive—except when Asher was nearby. The chemistry between them is still there, bubbling between them, but it was the unresolved emotion and the love they still had for each other that spoke to my heart. Kristy weaved a bit of a suspenseful edge into the story that made it an absolutely irresistible page-turner.
On One Condition was an unputdownable second-chance at first love romance full of heart, heat and healing. I practically inhaled this story in a single sitting with a huge smile on my face and full, happy heart – especially after that epilogue! Five smooches from me for On One Condition by K. Bromberg! ~Danielle Palumbo
WOW! K. Bromberg sure knows how to pull at my heartstrings! Asher and Ledger's love story both surprised me and awed me in equal measures! A second chance romance never sounded sweeter or sexier!
This small town romance meets billionaire boyfriend meets second chance, first love reunion made once again these characters shine, and shine bright. These two really were superb together, their background was so achingly sweet and tender, that I kind of wished for more flashback memories when I'm usually not a flashback fan at all. The way they navigated toward one another so effortlessly just made me swoon at their insane chemistry.
You’re better than the memory of you ever was.
One of the things I adored the most about On One Condition was the fact that the pain and heartache from their past was not dragged away throughout the whole story, things were so beautifully brought up, and DISCUSSED - yes, like two adults, how refreshing is that?! - and moved forward to acknowledge their fated connection, how I LOVED THAT!!!
As always even with one tale as deceivingly simple as these two seemed, the author managed to create such emotionally charging moments that had me crying, with how powerful they were, that made me fall for the complex characters and even their families . Yep, that's right, I'm madly in love with the Sharpe triplets, and counting down the days to see what's on the cards for Ford!!! <3 <3 <3 <3
“I think you’re a lot of people, Asher Wells,” he says softly. “I’m pretty sure I like all of them.”

Don’t get the high ratings AT ALL. The whole story would fall if Asher just agreed to talk and listen to Ledger. But she refused and refused and refused. Annoyed the crap out of me. Also didn’t feel any chemistry between them. And no real character depth either. 1 star seems legit. Dnf, but unfortunately read enough to rate it.
I somehow misunderstood and thought this one was Ford's—synopsis and all. But honestly, it did suit Ledger better. Lost love. And the oldest of our triplets. The story was a good romantic plot, but I enjoyed the sub-plot of Asher coming into her own business, more.
The second book in the S.I.N. Series brought the emotions and then-some. I honestly didn’t expect to be hit with all these feelings. Ledger and Asher were something else and boy did they make me feel.
Asher was strong, independent, fiery, and determined. She has big dreams and is striving to reach them. She has a big and caring heart and I just adored her.
Ledger is every bit of the successful man. His next assignment takes him back to the small town of Cedar Falls where there’s more than a handful of memories, especially the ones of falling in love and how it ended.
Asher and Ledger were everything to each other as teenagers. It’s the quintessential story of the rich boy and small town girl who fall for each other only for it to crumble in the end. We get flashbacks of their past relationship and see how it started and ultimately how it ended. Now, more than a decade later and with Ledger back in Cedar Falls overseeing a project and where Asher still lives, they cross paths after so many years and it’s evident that their connection is still there. After everything that’s happened is it enough though, can they have a second chance at happiness, and can Asher and Ledger reconnect and find and fall in love again?
On One Condition was an amazing second chance romance. Asher and Ledger’s story was a whirlwind of emotions. A great addition to the series and I can’t wait for the next book.
