About the author

Kim is a thirty-three year old bisexual submissive from Wales (UK). First published in 2008, she has since released almost 100 BDSM erotic romance titles ranging from short stories to full length novels. Having worked with a host of fantastic e-publishers, she has just moved into self publishing.

While she has occasionally ventured towards other pairings, Kim's first love is still, and probably always will be, Male/Male stories. Scott follows Joe's request and meets the Dom at the bar where Joe bartends. Let's just say there was some hot behind the bar action! Needy sub who just needs. He might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but who cares when a needy sub gets please? I'm not protesting!

In this second volume of the series (which definitely needs to be read in order!), Joe, the Dom, has taken up the gauntlet, so to speak, of exchanging letters as a mode of communication about the scenes these two guys want to play. Except he is the Dominant, so his letter isn’t an invitation, it is full of orders.

Scott loves this, of course, and runs head-on into the next scene with Joe. He has no idea what to expect, and likes it that way. The more he sees what is going on the more he likes it. As hesitant as he is to speak up, he has no problems considering more letters. I cannot wait to see what he comes up with for the next sequel!

If you like D/s stories with a twist, enjoy exploring a really new relationship with both partners still feeling their way and love reading about the psychological as well as the physical impact of power play between two men, you will probably like this book.

And now it’s Joe’s turn to throw down the gauntlet and see if Scott will respond. I like the continuity of the characters and that each “book” is essentially a new scene that also begins to look a little bit like dating. I think it’s going to take a while before the essence of the characters is a bit more clear.

Scott responds to the orders Joe left in a letter on his dresser and proves further his willingness to submit to Joe. Joes goes easy on Scott but they still satisfy each other. Before Joe allows Scott to leave, he hands him a blank envelope and tells him it is his turn. At first Scott is confused but after watching Joe walk away, Scott gets an idea.

This series is designed to be read pretty much like each book is a new chapter. They are not standalone short stories and if you only read one or two, you will not get the full impact of the series as a whole.

In this "chapter", it's Joe's turn to send Scott a letter and his letter demand's Scott's attention and presence at Joe's bar. The directions are very succinct and there is no doubt that Joe expects to be obeyed.

This book showed Joe and Scott getting to know each other a little more. Again, as a standalone short, the scene itself is a bit mundane. You do get a sense of Joe's dominance, and while Scott is new to the BDSM scene, his natural submissiveness is a huge attraction to Joe.

A good second book in the series, but we are still in the early phases of this relationship, waiting for more to happen.

Another sexy snippet. I definitely love getting both of their POV's. It's good to see that Joe isn't always as confident as he comes across, although he understands that Scott needs that to feel safe and relaxed. It's also fun to see how into Scott he is, and how little Scott understands that.
