I love a comedy or errors and farce. This is a good one that centers around Goose who simply wants to inflate her football. She asks Rabbit to get her a patch and it’s the telephone game. Rabbit asks someone to help and they tell someone else, but it changes and it’s different. It becomes the whole town sets out to help Goose. I find this so funny.

Sweet Pickles did 26 book with each character for a letter of the alphabet and then they did 14 more stories with the characters a few years later. This is one of those extra 14. They used lots of characters in this one and still has that Sweet Pickle magic.

I read this to the Nephew and he giggled at how each person got the story more wrong. He giggled at Iguana telling Camel something so different. Zebra wasn’t in this one and he loves Zebra and Fish and Fish wasn’t here either. He gave this 4 stars.

The Sweet Pickles series is wonderful! I think it also gave me my love for pickles as a food!

Important Lesson about Delegation and Communication

Excellent crescendo of a story, whereas one simple message turns into a ballooning crisis. Colourful, fun, characters are true to their reputation. Great bedtime story or lesson of life. The ending tends to drop off without resolution or explanation, so I think parents would need to fill-in kids on what would happen next and what the moral of the story is. Fun times, joyful part of the collection.
