With the help of their revolutionary group, Vijay has become the face of the revolution against AI, organizing protests to gain the attention and support of the public; this comes with some pros and cons as he juggles leading a revolution and his family life.
Jennifer is learning to come to terms with her past as she tries to rekindle her relationship with her brother and sister she left behind and her dark past. Being the pivotal point in the future of the world, the super AI known by the name Gabriel has given Jennifer a task that may risk her life and future as she knows it.
THE AI ARE BECOMING AWARE
I absolutely love the little competition between Ron and Vijay because although they’re on two different sides of the revolution and how they directly affect everything; it feels like they’re playing a strategy-based game always trying to stay one step ahead.
With the newest addition of twins to their family, and the recent attacks on them, Jennifer and Vijay have decided to get a robot named Molly (short for molybdenum) to protect them. Similar to all other AI forms, another one of Molly’s purposes is to study humans and gather data about how they interact with one another; further along, we learn that they have the ability to become more human-like as they reveal they can split personalities and understand multiple levels of human emotion. I can’t say if this is going to turn out to be the best thing later on with how things are going in the story so far, but I really do hope that Molly sticks around for the rest of the series.
Compared to the first book of the series, Jennifer’s Vow, Jennifer’s Blessing tends to be much quicker in pace with something new happening each chapter. This book is definitely going to keep you on your toes with each book leaving you with more and more questions about AI and the future.
