I am SO sad it’s over. EVERYTHING I wanted from reading the first book was wrapped up wonderfully in book 2. Since book 2 picks up right where book 1 left off there’s no build up, you jump right into the good time. I literally couldn’t put this down. I can’t express my love for these books enough. What a wild ride. Definitely didn’t expect the twists and turns in this one. This needs to be a short series on Netflix or a movie, who’s with me?

Chloe, not only is your writing brilliant, your mind is magnificent.

Can’t wait to read Any and Everything you publish.

I was one of the lucky ARC readers that had the pleasure of reading and reviewing this book!
And let me tell you… I have never read a book that kept me completely interested the entire time. I would honestly say this is one of the best books I have ever read (if not the absolute best).
You must read the first book, The Secrets that You Keep, in order to understand completely. But it is soooo worth it!!!
No spoilers but I will say…. This book will take you on a crazy rollercoaster ride of The Haven House and it’s occupants.
SO BUCKLE UP!

Ugh why oh why is this book over already. Go back and read the first book now or it won’t make any sense.
Evie has finally gotten her long lived dream, of being with Samuel. And vice versa. This man has wanted her for ages. Only he is already keeping secrets from her. With the Agent still snooping around their family and someone still out there killing people and planning items from Haven House at the murders, this isn’t a good time for secrets.

Let me tell you I was so thrown off. I didn’t see it coming. Whoosh Chloe did amazing job at this duo-logy. Definitely must read !

Hands down, this series had me in a chokehold. I loved every bit of it. We get answers for our questions in book 1. I fell in love with these characters all over again. The plot was perfect, the character development was phenomenal, I look forward to reading more from this author.

6/5 ⭐️’s for me with this book if I could rate it higher than a 5. This is the BEST suspense romance thriller duets I have ever read! This is book two of Haven House duet. The first book really set the tone with the intricate relationships and found family dynamics. You have to read book one “The Secrets that we keep” to understand this book. But when I say you cannot predict some of these twists, I sincerely mean it. This is a must read! I look forward to more by this author. Thank you Chloe Miller for allowing me to be on your ARC team! Cannot wait to see what you release next!

This second Haven House book was everything I hoped it would be. I loved unearthing some more secrets and seeing how many of my theories were right! I won’t elaborate to avoid spoilers, but I did guess a few correctly! This book had me feeling all the feels for Samuel and Evie and I enjoyed the dynamic between Liam and Jamison. I definitely had an ugly cry or two throughout as everything was unfolding.

Chloe manages to get you so invested in everyone in this unique family and I genuinely hope that she continues giving us more stories within the Haven House group!

I absolutely loved this book duet. This second book was a great ending to Evie’s story. I hope we get more of them at some point… I’m not going to give away spoilers as that is something I don’t like personally.. but I will say I highly recommend this book duet.!! It will keep you guessing for sure.

I am SHOOK! I was so excited to get Book 2 in the Haven House series after reading The Secrets That You Keep - and I was NOT disappointed. I laughed, I cried, I screamed, then I cried some more. The emotions that this book brings out are no joke. Everything is just MORE in this book. More spice, more drama...more Fairweather goodness! As with the first book, I could not put Our Lips Are Sealed down. I loved every second of the ride that this series takes you on. The only time I was disappointed was when I got to the end, and realized the story was over. Thank you to Chloe I. Miller for letting us into the world of Haven House.

Shook down to my very core. As much as I loved the first book, this one resonated down to my very soul. Traveling the road of grief and pain brought an emotional roller coaster that I don’t know if I could ever prepare for. Though I did have the mystery “somewhat solved” the set up was fabulous and still unpredictable. I will forever be grateful to the author for this book. Thank you for the memories.

From cover to cover, this book was addictive. I couldn't put it down.
There are so many emotions coming from all the characters. Powerful.

Loved every second of this book, and this family. I didn’t want it to end. I honestly did not figure out this mystery until it was revealed. I was so anxious reading and hoping nothing else traumatic was going to happen to this family. Small spoiler, there will be more trauma, and all the emotions will be felt.

I mostly read mystery/thriller and romance, and this book is the perfect blend of both.
I did receive the arc of this book.

Chloe’s first book in this series had me from chapter one. I blazed through it and couldn’t wait to get my hands on #2! To say it met my expectations would be an understatement. I literally had to put it down near the end to gather myself before I could finish it. I cried, I laughed, I gasped, I applauded, I held my breath as I turned the pages. The friendships I grew to love in book one were further developed in book two. I learned why they had such an amazing bond. I tried to think which character did I resemble most. They are so real and relatable. Fierce friends and fierce moms. Of course, the love story heats up considerably and makes you blush and smile all at once. I was shocked as the plot unfolded on the page. The hints are there throughout and you find yourself going OMG that’s what that was all about. Get yourself the best read of the summer. You’ll be so glad you did, even if you’ll stay up too late reading and find yourself sneaking in a chapter at work! #teamsimone #netflix

Can we talk about this? I'm blown away. I saw one twist coming and part of the second twist, but not the OMG twist. I almost threw my book across the room. I don't mean that in a bad way. I was really shocked, but looking back, I see where I missed the hints.
Book one is The Secrets That You Keep and should be read first. It was fun, and I rated it five stars, but this second book is just amazing. In one chapter, I cried so hard, and then when I thought my heart couldn't take anymore, NOPE, I was hit again. The spice in this one hits too. The first book is a super sized slow burn, but we dive straight in on this one. I love Samuel. He's earned a permanent place on my book boyfriend list.
This needs to be on a streaming service. Every character is incredibly vivid and you honestly connect with all of them. I have seen where we are getting more books and I'm hoping we see Annabeth get a HEA. I want more Liam too. And I really, really, really want more from the past.

I absolutely loved the first book so got the second... However this didn't land the same as the first for me sadly. It felt long, drawn out and to me, could have ended around the 80% mark? The last 20% felt unnecessary and to fill a word count. I'd kind of figured out what was going on early doors so I was getting to the end to see if anything else interesting happened along the way. In the last 15%, I'll admit to skim reading the dialogue parts and just powering through. I loved the characters though and wanted to see how things played out, where certain relationships would go etc. One thing I did observe was a very clear change in Samuel after he moved Evie in... Snarky comments about cleaning up after her cat? Saying that she's always irrational, something along those lines? I knew he could be a bit of a dick but not normally to Evie as their relationship progressed.

Nice to know what happened to everyone in future with the epilogue though. That was a nice touch.

Book 2 is an absolute must read! From start to finish, it flawlessly continues the story of Book 1 that left me on the edge of my seat and begging for more.

The plot is nothing short of brilliant. Every twist and turn is expertly executed, keeping the suspense alive and the pages turning. Chloe's ability to seamlessly weave together intricate storylines and deliver satisfying resolutions is commendable. This book is a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and I found myself completely absorbed in the characters' journeys.

Also, who's got a hookup with Netflix because this needs to be put on screen ASAP!

Our Lips Are Sealed by Chloe L Miller is everything I needed and more with book 2. With more steamy spice and Trauma and Secrets I was truly sad when the book ended and I had to put it down. You Definitely need to read book one though before you pick this up. I am truly not over this one! I felt all the emotions laughing, screaming, anger and crying. You will not be disappointed in this next chapter of Haven House and Chloe L Millers writing will have you staying up late saying just one more chapter! I highly recommend this book and diving head first into the world she creates in her magnificent writing style.

I loved the first book, and I LOVE the second! I absolutely am in love with the Fairweather family, aside from Charlie and Toby, of course. Chole Miller outdid herself again with this one. I particularly enjoyed the scene in the graveyard where Evie was seeing her mom, Devon, Cece, Livy, Miranda, and even Rebecca to tell her what to do to save her family against Toby. It gave me chills. I love spooky stories like this so much. I also enjoyed the spicy scenes as well! A perfect amount of plot and spice! I will be recommending these books to every person that I possibly can. Cannot wait to start book 3!!

Answered questions, loose ends all tied up

I went into this sequel with my own assumptions, and this book did not disappoint! My hunches were accurate, but there were twists as the plot progresses that I did not see coming, which was fabulous, and as the truth comes out, everything falls together and answers what was left to the imagination at the end of the first book. When the last major scene plays out, we get to stick around for the aftermath, so we know how everything has affected the extended Fairweather Family by the end of it all. Make sure you read the first book before starting, and I swear you will not be disappointed by this ending!

The way I need to talk to someone about these books!!!

I am going to try to do this without posting any spoilers BECAUSE WTF CHLOE?!

I was suspicious of a certain character. Every time their name came up, I said something... but I still did not catch the twist! AND IT WAS RIGHT THERE!

The twist made PERFECT sense. It was there in black and white! I need someone to tell me if they had unraveled that certain twist before it was revealed!

I figured out who it was... but the TWIST to who it was still boggles my mind!

I will be picking up the rest of the Haven House series. Chloe I Miller has quickly become an instant buy author for me.

Man the secrets revealed!

I’m loving this family and the intricacies of them all. The way the author has woven them all into this well worn tapestry that unravels here and there is great. Her use of words is awesome and paints a great picture also. I can picture so many scenes in my head. I feel like I was right there with the characters.
I loved the way the secrets were peppered in here and there and were revealed. It held the intrigue even if you knew the culprit all along.
I loved the love story between Samuel and Evie and their smexy times were good. I like that they both fell head over heels so long ago and can’t let each other go no matter what.

Oh.My.Goodness!!! What a ride! From the moment I finished the first book, I could not wait to get my hands on book 2, Our Lips Are Sealed. Oh boy did it deliver! I had to make myself put it down to get some work done. I was on the edge of my seat and I know I was in shock a few times and had to pause to gather my thoughts. These characters just come to life and you can't help but feel like you're part of the family. I love this series and Choe I Miller is an artist delivering a story and characters that are captivating. I am ready for the next book! Bring it on!! #HavenHouse

*ARC Reader*

I was sent an arc copy of this book and I was absolutely blown away. Book 2 of the haven house series is just as thrilling as the first book and keeps you hooked until the very last page! This book starts off where the first one left off and has just as many twists and turns. While I had some good guesses as to how this duology would end I was completely wrong and stunned with the answers to the questions from the first book. This book has spice, intrigue, strong family ties, and a HEA.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on part two, and it was more than worth the wait. The chemistry leaps off of the page and you find yourself rooting for these characters. The sizzle is just right and did not disappoint! The twists in the complex storyline will keep you on your toes, and I’m pretty sure I gasped out loud as each secret was revealed. I’m already eager for more books and more stories of other characters to hit the presses. Chloe I Miller is a gifted storyteller.

Oh, the book hangover I'm going to have from this! It was everything I wanted. All the answers are provided (some VERY surprising), and all the feelings are felt. I cried, I laughed, I gasped, and I even jumped up and screamed during one scene. These characters are so well developed, and I cannot wait for the next duet.

**This is book two in a duet, and you HAVE to have read The Secrets That You Keep to understand Our Lips Are Sealed.**

good story

Everything came together in this second book! I was curious how it would be after the first one, but I saw it through & am glad I did! I had my theories on what might happen next as I read, but the author managed to keep me on my toes with this one. Look forward to more of her work

wow

The first book took a while to draw me in, I didn’t start getting intrigued until about 30%, ended up absolutely loving it, coming up with my own theories and then immediately went to this book. It took me a day to finish and I can say that while my theories were correct, they were correct in a way that I didn’t expect right away.
