READER BEWARE — YOU'RE IN FOR TEN SCARES!
From an evil baby sister, to a remote control that can control more than just the television set, to a teacher who likes snakes a little too much, to a cute, cuddly bear gone bad, here are ten creepy, spooky stories guaranteed to give you Goosebumps all night long!
Robert Lawrence Stine known as R. L. Stine and Jovial Bob Stine, is an American novelist and writer, well known for targeting younger audiences. Stine, who is often called the Stephen King of children's literature, is the author of dozens of popular horror fiction novellas, including the books in the Goosebumps, Rotten School, Mostly Ghostly, The Nightmare Room and Fear Street series.
R. L. Stine began his writing career when he was nine years old, and today he has achieved the position of the bestselling children's author in history. In the early 1990s, Stine was catapulted to fame when he wrote the unprecedented, bestselling Goosebumps® series, which sold more than 250 million copies and became a worldwide multimedia phenomenon. His other major series, Fear Street, has over 80 million copies sold.
Stine has received numerous awards of recognition, including several Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards and Disney Adventures Kids' Choice Awards, and he has been selected by kids as one of their favorite authors in the NEA's Read Across America program. He lives in New York, NY.
I was familiar with a few of these stories because they were adapted into episodes for the TV series, but the rest of these stories were quite surprising. Some of these are very reminiscent of R.L.'s other works, but there are some fun twist endings that make this an enjoyable anthology. I enjoyed the baseball story and the vampire story the most, but this was a rare occasion where none of the short stories were particularly bad. Although nothing to write home about, this is a fun anthology and if you're a fan of R.L.'s other stuff, you'll probably dig this. I look forward to checking out the sequels.
Tales to Give You Goosebumps is a collection of ten short stories, each of which is about ten pages or slightly longer in length. The only two stories I enjoyed in this collection were Click (the best story, in my opinion) and Broken Dolls, and even those weren't great, though they had great ideas and I liked them for that reason. None of the stories in here are worth seeking out this collection, which has long been out of print, but if you're a collector of Stine's work you may want it. Prepare to be disappointed though.
Ratings for each story and for the book as a whole are below:
The House of No Return: 2/5 Teacher's Pet: 2/5 Strained Peas: 1.5/5 Strangers in the Woods: 1.5/5 Good Friends: 2.5/5 How I Won My Bat: 2/5 Mr. Teddy: 1/5 Click: 3.5/5 Broken Dolls: 3.5/5 A Vampire in the Neighbourhood: 1/5
The collection starts with mainly mediocre stories but as it goes, it gets slightly better

More from the 90's. I am feeling nostalgic this year, so dug out the 90's children's books I don't remember all that much. Gosh, I loved R.L Stine. I read all of the original Goosebumps, as well as Nightmare Room, I had some of Fear Street and Ghosts of Fear Street, a good bit of Series 2000, and his two newer short story collection, Nightmare and Haunting Hour. This is a good book for kids who like scary stories. Good for short attention spans too. 1o stories, all less than 30 pages. Quite a few of them are actually more funny than scary, at least to me now. Click always has made me laugh, considering I used to try and "mute" my mom haha. Also, the irony in that one, as well as many of his stories. So glad to be of the generation that grew up with the ORGIONAL Goosebumps, Animorphs ect. I like that they are bringing them back, but it annoys me that Animorphs only did the first 6, and Goosebumps only brought back like 20 out of the original 62, not to mention the 6 in "Tales to give you Goosebumps" series, plus his Fear Street, Point Break, Goosebumps 2000, Nightmare Room, Ghosts of Fear Street... When I found R.L Stein, the original Goosebumps was just coming to a close, and Series 2000 was hard on its heals, as well as Nightmare Room. The others were done already. I spent like two years engrossed in his scary world. It saddens me to think that todays kids will only see a fraction of that.
20 out of hundreds.... GRRRRRRR Bring them all back!!! Who's with me???????
Disappointed that this was the start of the tales series. There isn’t a single story here that I’d give an 8/10 or higher, and most of the stories were either mid or fine. Some bad. Though, this book has some endings that I really like, such as Broken Dolls, How I Won My Bat, and Vampire in the Neighborhood. Here’s my ratings for each tale.
The House of No Return - 6/10 Teacher’s Pet - 7/10 Strained Peas - 2.5/10 Strangers in the Woods - 5/10 Good Friends - 5.5/10 How I Won My Bat - 6.5/10 Mr. Teddy - 4/10 Click - 7/10 Broken Dolls - 7.5/10 Vampire in the Neighborhood - 6/10
Okay folks....Let's jazz up the review by a teeny tiny change. I am going to rate the tales individually and I will be doing so in order. From "THAT WAS SPOOKY" to "it was enjoyable" here are the ratings to Tales to give you goosebumps.
The House of No Return-5/5 - Teacher's Pet-1/5 - Strained Peas- 2/5 - Strangers in the Woods- 4/5 - Good Friends-1/5 - How I Won My Bat-2/5 - Mr. Teddy - 5/5 -Click-5/5 - Broken Dolls-3/5 - A Vampire in the Neighborhood -5/5
Thus,Tales to give you goosebumps was a mixed bag of surprises.
Excellent collection of short stories! Very clever and enjoyable - a surprising amount of substance for these tales that are essentially very condensed goosebumps stories. I think they are all good to some degree - Strained Peas and Good Friends are a couple of my favorites. How I Won My Bat was just okay, that one I didn't care for quite as much. I highly recommend this collection for goosebumps fans.
The house of no return - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ You can't join the Danger Club without being brave enough to face the haunted house for 1 hour by yourself. Will Chris be good enough to join them? I would read that out loud! :D
Teacher's pet - ⭐️⭐️ Becca and Benjy meet the new teacher: a huge fan of snakes that has many of them in the classroom. All they study about is snakes! But... who is this teacher, really? I think If I were scared of spiders, I would be terrified. As I am not, just found that very, very silly.
Strained peas - ⭐️⭐️ Nicholas is having trouble with his new baby sister. Will he be able to deal with the fact that Hannah has the "evil mark"? Good beginning! Terrible ending.
Strangers in the woods - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lucy notices her Great-Aunt Abigail has been doing things differently. And there are strange lights near the woods, where her aunt asked not to go. Besides, her dog is also looking very odd after arriving at Abigail's place. Is something really changed or is she imagining stuff? I liked, but not enough to read it aloud.
Good friends - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jordan and Dylan are best friends. Dylan tries to be safe because his brother is a nightmare. Jordan insists that he has some fun instead of worrying about Richard, Dylan's older brother. However, things don't go as expected... MIND BLOWING! Loved it! 3
How I won my bat - ⭐️⭐️ Nothing that is good comes that easily! Mike Burns found this out the worst way possible. Just like every talent, he does not want to fail after so many wins and to avoid that, he wins an amazing bat that could help him win an important game! But lose other things... Meh.
Mr. Teddy - ⭐️⭐️ Willa loves collections! When she sees a cute teddy bear with cute eyes, she decides to buy it. However, when the teddy bear continuously get out of her bed during the night, she thinks it's her sister feeling jealous of her. But... Is it really her? Meh 2.
Click - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Seth loves his TV and can't stop browsing the channels. When his father buys a universal remote control, he sees himself pausing, replaying moments of his lie with this magical and weird object. But, just like the Adam Sandler's movie, things go wrong! I really liked the ending! I would read that aloud :D
Broken Dolls - ⭐️⭐️ Having a doll collection and a brother like Neal is not an easy task for Tamara. He keeps breaking her dolls. However, he is still her brother. When they go to a doll booth in the fairground, she is admired with how real the dolls look! But what Tamara doesn't realise is that there is something creepy about them and her brother is part of it after her visit. I enjoyed the beginning, did not like the ending.
A vampire in the neighborhood - ⭐️⭐️ Maddy is very curious about the Helga, the new student. She dresses weird, has pale skin and never eats anything. She and her friends are sure she is a vampire! And to prove that, they keep going to her house at night. Until she spots them... Not the best ending ever.
10 spooky stories as the cover boasts, I picked book 1 for my Goosebumps July just because it’s my favorite cover of the 6.
As I am doing an entire month of GB reads, obviously I am a fan either way, but I have to say, a short format really works well for this series. Especially with Stine’s classic twist endings. These are short and snappy, and they all end with a fun surprise. If they all stay at this calibre, the 6 books in this series would be a phenomenal collection of stories under Stine’s belt.
The House of No Return and Mr. Teddy were definitely my favorite shorts. Personally a 5/5*
This book is a good book. The characters in this book are Robbie, the main character, Lori, and Nathan, his friends. They are in a group called the Danger Club which does daring things. To get into this club you have to stay 1 hour in a supposedly haunted house. In the beginning, a kid named Doug is trying to join but fails. Later, they meet a kid named Chris who they really want to join their club. But when asked, Chris said he was too scared to join the club so he left but they really wanted him to join the club. Halloween was tomorrow and they came up with a plan to get him into the house. As they passed the house they told him to go up to the door and pushed him in. The kids waited for Chris to return and after 1 hour they were going to congratulate him but no one came out. Another 20 minutes, still no one came out. 30 minutes, same thing. After this they decided to go after him and went into the house. Right as they walked in, the doors shut and they were locked in. One of the kids saw what looked like a group of fireflies at the top of some stairs, and then the “fireflies” floated down and surrounded them. They then formed into human forms. The kids asked where Chris was and the Ghosts said he left about an hour ago and said that 3 kids would come after him and then the Ghosts took them. I would recommend this book to 4-6th graders because of the reading level because of the simplified writing style and the very easy vocabulary will make it easy to understand for young people.. I like the part where Chris sold off his friends.
Teacher’s Pet
Teacher’s Pet, by R.L. Stine, is about the mains character, Becca’s, first day of school and how her teacher loves snakes. The teacher's name is Mr. Blankenship and all the things they learn in class are about snakes. Science is the studying the hatching of snake eggs, history, they read stories of ancient beliefs in serpents, and for geometry they made chalk drawings of snakeskin patterns. The room was filled with tanks with snakes in them. Walls were filled to the top with them but in the back there was one tank that was empty. The children in the class speculated what could be inside of it. Some said a boa constrictor, others said a python but none of them were right. One time, the teacher feed a snake a mouse and Becca hated it so she and her friend devised a plan to release the mice. They got together at night and snuck into the school through a window that the teacher always leaves open. But at that moment, Becca tripped and broke some tanks and the snakes got out and then they realized that the big tank had a snake in it. The snake came out of the tank and transformed into Mr. Blankenship. They thought he was going to get rid of them but he make a deal with them, that they would feed him mice every day after school for a month and they don’t tell anyone. I like the part where the teacher made a deal with the kids to feed him mice because it is funny and it is also ironic because the main character also hates snakes. I would recommend this book to young people (elementary school) because of its easy vocabulary and simple writing style would make it easy for young people to understand.
Good Friends
Good Friends, by R.L. Stine, is about two kids, Jordan and Dylan and what they do together as friends. Dylan needs to finish his homework but Jordan wants to play basketball and convinces Dylan to lie about him having finished his homework. Dylan is scared that his older brother will find out and then beat him up. After this they ride their bikes around the neighborhood and shoot some hoops when Jordan's little sister shows up and is playing with her dolls with her imaginary friend. They make fun of her and when she starts to annoy them, they throw a ball at his sister's imaginary friend. They later devise a prank to play on Jordan's little sister. Since she hates spiders, they will take Dylan's brothers tarantulas and scare her with them. They will take the spiders and yell the spiders are loose and it will scare her because she does not like spiders. As they walk out the door and are about to scare her, Dylan’s brother yells out the window and asks what he is doing with his tranchulas. He also asks why he is always playing with himself and talking with himself. He then says “Forget about Jordan and Ashley. Okay? They don’t exist, there just in your mind. Imaginary friends are for babies.”
My favorite part in this book the the plot twist at the end where you find out that Dylan's friends aren't real, that there his imaginary friends and it makes me wonder how he still believes that his friends are real since he is around 9 years old. I would recommend this book for young people in 3rd to 5th grade because it is easy to understand and there is also easy vocabulary that they can learn from this book.

(The House of No Return)- Robbie, Lori, and Nathan are looking for a fourth member to join their “Danger Club” and think Chris Wakely will be the perfect candidate. They offer him an invite and tell him all he needs to do is spend an hour in the “House of No Return”. Chris is no fool and has heard the rumours of it being haunted. He tells them nope. He’s too scary and declines. However, they decide that he needs to get over his fear. So, on Halloween night, they invite him to go trick or treating, take him to the house, and force him inside. They tell themselves it’ll be good for him. They think he’s going to make it, but after an hour he doesn’t come out. So, now they have to go in.
When inside, the door shuts behind them locking them in. Then they see two ghosts on the stairs. They ask where Chris is and the ghost tell them he went out the back door an hour ago. They wanted to keep him, but they made a deal with him that if they let him go they’d get to keep the three children that came looking for him. And now they’ll be there forever.
(Teacher’s Pet)- Becca Thompson and Benjy Connor are starting sixth grade but instead of getting the cool teacher they wanted, instead they get Mr. Blankenship who’s filled the room with tanks that seem to grow by the day. What’s worse is, he also has white mice and shows them eagerly on the first day how he feeds the snakes.
One day a student accidently bumps into one of the tanks holding the mice and it escapes out the window. Mr. Blankenship scolds the class and makes them write essays. He also makes Becca clean out the snake cages. Becca decides to get even and convinces Benjy to help her sneak into the school to free all the mice. Becca tho accidently turns over some of the tanks and finds out that a tank that was once empty earlier now holds a cobra and it morphs into Mr. Blankenship. Becca and Benji make a deal with him that he won’t tell anyone about the break in as long as they come back in the afternoon and feed him a mouse every day.

But his parents tell him don’t be silly when he tries to tell them. Hamnah does a lot of strange things. She howls at night, her eyes change color (from blue to brown), she spits up on him, eats his homework, and he finds her with scissors. He becomes convinced she’s trying to kill him off so she can be the only child.
Nicholas’s mom gets a call from the hospital that her baby was switched. The baby is returned and they name the new baby Grace. She seems normal at first but when Nicholas tries to tickle her she doesn’t. She then tells him that if he tickles her again she’ll rip his arm off. Nick screams and runs but as he leaves he hears her say “I’ll get rid of you creep. Just wait until I can walk.”
(Stranger in the Woods)-Lucy stays with her great-aunt Abigail while her parents go to Asia. The first thing that’s off is her dog (Muttster) starts to bark hysterically. Then her tells her not to go into the woods. Her aunt’s cookies also don’t taste the same. That night, Lucky sees six bright lights in the sky in a circle descend into the woods. Next day she asks her aunt what they are and she says hesitantly probably just the reflections of something. Lucy notices her aunts eggs are off at breakfast and when she drives them into town she drives like a maniac.
That night Lucy sees the lights again and is reminded of an ailien movie she saw about pod people. Maybe that’s what’s set Muttster off and make her aunt act so differently. She’s been taken over by pod people. So, Lucy goes into the woods only to find that the lights are from a movie being shot. No it all makes sense. Great Aunt Abagail explains the other instances away as her having lost her glasses and the green skin Lucy say was from a face mask. That night, Lucy finds her aunts glasses in the closet. She goes to give them back to her only to find out that her aunt really is an alien with tentacles and several black lips.
(Good Friends)- Jordan asks his friend Dylan to come over after school and ride their bikes and shoot hoops. Dylan says hesitantly he has to do his homework before his mom gets home or his brother will tell on him. Jordan convinces him anyway. They run into Ashley (Jordan’s sister) who they tease for having an imaginary friend named (more Jordan). Ashley then runs away. That night, Jordan comes over while Dylan is doing his homework and says he has a way to prank Ashley. They’ll take Richard (Dylan’s brothers) two spiders and scare her and tell her they ate her imaginary friend. So, they go outside and are just about to sneak up on Ashley when Richard comes out and calls Dylan an embarassement because likes playing with his imaginary friends Jordan and Ashley.
(How I Won My Bat)- Mike use to be known for his talent on the baseball field but now he just can’t seem to hit a pitch. There’s a big game coming up and he makes a wish that he’ll do anything to get his swing back. A little man comes up to him after practice and offers him a bat that he says is lighter. He says the only condition is he has to bring it straight back to the sports museum. Mike wins the game with nine home-runs. He takes the bat back and tells the man he has to keep it. The man agrees and tells him to show him his best swing. Lights flashes and he’s frozen there on display as a statue forever.

Her sister denies moving it. The next night, the bear is moved again and two of her porcelain egss have been broken. She looks for Gina to let her have it but she’s already left to go to school. Gina again denies having anything to do with the broken eggs.
That night, Willa sleeps with Mr. Teddy in her arms but in the morning her room is destroyed. All her stuffed animals are shredded and her dolls are broken. Willa runs to her mother to blame Gina, but her mother tells her Gina was at a sleepover all night. Then Willa realizes it was “Mr. Teddy” and she rips him to shreds. She doesn’t notice her Old Bear smiling. He thinks to himself he hopes she learned her lesson that she can’t replace him.
(Click)-One of Seth Gold’s favorite things to do is channel suft. So, he’s in heaven when his dad brings home a universal remote. Seth and his sister (Megan) start to fight over the remote and it gets thrown across the room. He inspects it and it seems to seems to still work. Seth’s mom chews him out for not doing his chores and hogging the remote. As a joke he points it at her and presses mute. And it actually does. During dinner, he uses the remote to get multiple servings of dessert. At school, he uses the remote’s pause button to cheat on a test he hasn’t studied for. At lunch, Seth mutes a lunch lady and can’t un mute her.
A boy named Danny tries to steal the remote and Seth pauses him but can’t unpause him. Then he pauses the principle who comes to see what’s going on. Seth ends up pressing the power button in a panic and then finds himself in a dark void and a blinking light that means the battery is dead.
(Broken Dolls)- Tamera’s little brother, Neal is always trying to break her dolls. One day they go to a crafts fair. Tamera spots a section with homemade and very life-like dolls. The doll’s maker offers Neal a cookie. After this, Neal starts to act strange. Then he gets a fever. He has a weird goop in his hair that he calls “dolly jelly”. Neal then starts to talk about not wanting to become a doll. So, Tamera heads back to the fair suspecting that the old woman is behind it.
In the woman’s trailer there are dolls that don’t have faces. One of the dolls has Neal’s features. Tamera gets cornered by the old woman who takes out a jar of the dolly jelly and plans to use it on Tamera. Only she takes the jelly and throws it into a poll of water. The woman vanishes and the dolls cheer, Now Neal’s doll is blank. When she gets home, Neal is back to normal. A few weeks later, Tamera gets a package containing a doll that looks like the old woman. She dares Neal to break it.
(A Vampire in the Neighborhood)- There’s a new girl at school (Helga Neugenstorm) that’s pale and wears antique clothes. Maddy, Simon, Carrie, Yvonne, and Joey think she’s odd. Maddy tho asks Helga to sit with them at lunch, but she turns them down and says she doesn’t eat lunch. So, this must mean she’s a vampire. They decide to stake out her house to see if she sleeps in a coffin. When they look through the window they see her staring back at them. Finally she comes out and tells them to stop following her. Maddie asks her if she’s a vampire. She says yes and asks to see the other kids fangs and they show her. Helga is shocked and says she was just joking. The others surround her.
My Thoughts: It just amazes me sometimes how many Goose Bumps books there are! Just when you think you know about all of em, you find some you’d never even heard of. I was working on a update for one of the Give Yourself Goosebumps books when I came across mentions of these. These are very easy to read. Even more than the ones from the main series. There were a few twisty endings here that even caught me off guard!

Classic. I haven’t read this since it came out back in ‘94, so it felt new to me. Every story had a great little twist; I think best one was Good Friends.
Tales that give you Goosebumps: Ten Spooky Stories Review: . . This short story collection involves many things, from a teacher who is maybe, too obsessed with snakes? to a haunted house story and a new girl in town that could be a vampire. . . The House of No Return - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Teacher’s Pet - ⭐⭐ Strained Peas - ⭐ Stranger in the Woods - ⭐⭐⭐ Good Friends - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ How I Won My Bat - ⭐⭐ Mr. Teddy - ⭐⭐⭐ Click - ⭐⭐⭐ Broken Dolls - ⭐⭐⭐ A Vampire in the Neighborhood - ⭐⭐⭐ . . . Overall rating: ⭐⭐⭐ I haven’t read this since I was a kid, so it was fun diving back into the goosebumps world. I feel like he started it out with a very strong story, and it was hit or miss from there on. I enjoyed it, but sometimes the endings were just so abrupt that it just wasn’t satisfying.
Good twists but nothing overly memorable and the English translation swapped some random words like dinner into supper, which shows how middle class editing was in the 90s (still is tbh...)
None of the stories were bad, but none really blew me away. The best one was probably Click, which I believe was adapted into a tv episode of Goosebumps.
Honestly, I wasn't even aware that Tales to Give You Goosebumps was a thing before I finished my journey through all sixty-two of the Goosebumps original series, culminating in Monster Blood IV. I was even more surprised to discover that Tales to Give You Goosebumps spawned five sequels. I'm not sure if this book didn't make it to the UK when I was a kid or if I just somehow missed it, but regardless, a collection of ten Goosebumps short stories? I had to dive in and see what R.L. Stine had to offer.
The House of No Return We start with a pretty fun Goosebumps short story where I was surprised at just how descriptive R.L. Stine's writing is. I think after sixty-two of the Goosebumps original series books I've become used to him just phoning it in, so it was a refreshing change to see him back to his inventiveness that made me fall in love with Goosebumps in the first place. A solid start.
Teacher's Pet This is a fun idea, if a little predictable (a recurring theme with these short stories). It takes a bit of time to really get going, which is an impressive feat for a short story that is only thirteen pages long. But still, I enjoyed this enough. Not as good as the opener, but not bad.
Strained Peas Can't say I was a fan of this one. There's a kernel of an idea here that has the potential to be really chilling, but this is a Goosebumps story so it's going to have limitations. Unnecessary twist ending too - so much more could've been done with this concept, even within the confines of it being a Goosebumps story.
Strangers in the Woods Another miss for me unfortunately. Stine's attempt at a misdirect didn't really work, which then made the twist ending fall completely flat for me. It's surprising how much nonsense Stine managed to squeeze into such a short story.
Good Friends I really enjoyed Good Friends. Loved the twist ending here, and thought that the entire concept was executed really well. This is everything I could hope for in a Goosebumps short story - Stine deftly draws his characters, sets up the situation, and then allows the twist to organically unfold. This might be my favourite of the ten.
How I Won My Bat Despite the twist being predictable, I still enjoyed the journey we took to get there. There's a not-so-subtle lesson on display here, but there's also some fun to be had in seeing the inevitable play out. It feels like Stine has written this story with a lot of affection, as even the ending lacks the bite that Stine's twists can sometimes contain.
Mr. Teddy Despite the twist being predictable, I didn't really enjoy the journey we took to get there. One of the most frustrating tropes in Goosebumps books is when parents don't believe their kids even when we, the reader, know they're telling the truth. So this is an even more frustrating read when even the protagonist is unwilling to confront the truth, instead continuously blaming her sister despite Stine attempting to set-up a very obvious misdirect. Mr. Teddy competes with Strained Peas as being the worst entries in this book.
Click It's a familiar concept with one of those endings that has a little bite. I found this pretty fun, especially considering the similarities between this short story and a certain Adam Sandler movie. Stine handles escalating peril especially well here.
Broken Dolls This is a totally okay entry. The concept is okay, the twist ending is fine (if a little dark), the characters are okay. There is nothing particularly remarkable - good or bad - about this short story.
A Vampire in the Neighborhood Thankfully the book ends strong, with a short story that I really enjoyed. It's another predictable twist ending but I actually liked how it played out. The characters are fun and despite only being eleven pages Stine still manages to squeeze in some moments of tension.
Like most short story collections, Tales to Give You Goosebumps is a mixed bag. We have a couple of hits here, a couple of misses, and a fair few which are just fine. My biggest surprise reading this was discovering a time when it seems like Stine still had a genuine love for Goosebumps, as none of this felt particularly lazy and the vast majority of short stories here still demonstrated plenty of imagination. This was a fun reading experience.
3/5
Tales to Give You Goosebumps Ranked 1) Tales to Give You Goosebumps - 3/5
1. THONR ➕ Penciptaan suasana bagus.
9. BD ➕ Aku suka hal-hal berkaitan boneka "cantik". Ending-nya membuatku geli. ➖ Hal. 114 -> "And she didn't how late the craft fair stayed open". Ada kata yang kurang, kan? ★4
10. AVITN ➕ Aku enggak tahu pas pertama kali baca aku sadar ada beberapa petunjuk tersebar di mana-mana apa enggak. Proses penyelidikan dan ending membuatku geli. ★4
Pretty fun! I believe this is R.L. Stine's first attempt at an anthology, having a variety of short stories by him is delightful and for the most part, they're great! Individually I'd have to say:
- The House of No Return: 5/5 - Teacher's Pet: 3/5 - Strained Peas: 2.5/5 - Strangers in the Woods: 4/5 - Good Friends: 5/5 - How I Won My Bat: 2/5 - Mr. Teddy: 5/5 -Click: 5/5 - Broken Dolls: 5/5 - A Vampire in the Neighborhood -4/5
