This is a good overview of the use and features that Ubuntu provides in the latest 2012 version. The problem with a reference book like this is that Ubuntu is evolving with two releases per year. This makes a book reference difficult to stay current. I still enjoy the reference all in one place.

Excellent book for beginner to expert. I have been a Microsoft user since Windows 3.1, and this book has really helped me get up and running on Ubuntu. This book is helping me build a solid foundation on this operating system.
