I've read at least two thirds of Dean Koontz' novels and I enjoy his books as much as I enjoy Stephen King's. Most of their novels are of the horror genre featuring supernatural entities but, I would describe the difference between the two author's like this:
Stephen King -- horror, featuring evil supernatural entities
Dean Koontz -- horror, featuring evil supernatural entities but, these entities are usually created as a result of "real science," e.g., recombinant DNA experimentation
If you enjoy the "horror" genre, you can't go wrong reading any of Dean Koontz' novels either.
Oddly, though..., I don't tend to specifically remember his stories as per his titles. That's why I'm giving you this general critique of his work..., it's all good!
