My kiddo loves these mice. I was excited for this spooky themed spin off, but Creepella is not the nicest, best example - more than a little rude. My son still enjoyed this but I think we will stick to the Geronimo series.
I think the book was interesting because it was kind of scary but cool.It was fun reading and a great book. I would recommend this book, but if you like long books then I think this one might be too short for you.
The third book in the Creepella von Cacklefur series. This book centers around the strange holes that have sudden formed in Billy Squeakspeare's yard. He has no idea who has done this or why. Creepella is on the hunt. Billy asks his ghost uncle why someone would do this and out comes the tale of the hidden treasure that was given to a relative of Billy's by the pirate Morgan Blackwhisker for such a lovely time and stay at the mansion while he was in town. No one knows where the treasure is and even Blackwhisker, if he were still alive, would not know either as he had a horrible memory. So who is trying to find the treasure and where is it? Creepella seeks the expert advice of her teachers at her old school to help in solving the mystery.
This was a good book, very interesting and keep you thinking till the very end! Billy is such a funny character, always scared and fainting!
The book Ghost Pirate Treasure was mysterious. The writing was great. The strength about the book is that a character would help her friend on a mystery. The weakness about the book is that the character’s friend would faint when something is scared or just appeared out of nowhere, I would recommend this to a classmate because I bet that they would like a book that solves a mystery that is about a treasure. f this book was part of a series I would like to continue reading them.
If you are reading to a five year old boy, don't forget to check out the Geronimo Stilton books. They will be requested over and over until all that is left are the Crepella Von Cacklefur editions...books about Geronimo's creepy friend Creepela. Enjoy!
I think this book was great at some points with mystery, suspense or more. But also at some point I think it got boring because in some places the idea was repeating.I seem to like all the detail and how the writer wrote it
its about someone is digging holes in Billy's backyard.so Billy calls his friend Creepella and says she heard of a ghost and that ghost buried his treasure in his backyard.so they find out who was trying to steal it and they found the treasure.
Primero de una (espero) larga lista de libros que mi hijo quiere que lea después de que él los termine. Este no está mal, pero me gustan más las aventuras del dragón Coco, que también me he tenido que tragar.
I love reading these with my 5 yr old. they are fun stories funny & silly and my son can see sight words and sound out other big words. He would give it 6/5 stars
