This edition has been updated with information on the latest trends in education including new information on the use of simulations to facilitate learning, the latest on competency-based and concept-focused curricula, developing learner-centered courses, and more. Edited by expert nursing educators Diane M. Billings and Judith A. Halstead, Teaching in Nursing is a past winner of the AJN Book of the Year award, and is an excellent resource for nurses preparing to take the Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) Exam.

Read the newer edition for my MSN program. Covers everything you will need for CNE exam. Good resource book to keep on the shelf.

Good book to prepare for Certified Nurse Eduacator Exam. Editing could be improved. Chapters repeated A LOT of information. Each chapter was well written, but it felt like no one had read through the entire book. Could probably be decreased in size by 1/3.
