A quick little read. The downside of a quick and dirty approach like this is that you miss a lot of nuance. The upside is that it invites new readers to get going right away, and not lose momentum looking for that nuance. Good starting point for some reders, but not all.

To me, the writing style felt off; missing words, sentences that didn’t flow. I also didn’t agree with some of the quick interpretations given. I did like the advice on how to learn.

Quick read--not bad. I liked the encouragement to come up with six stories. The sample readings got a little too new age for me.

Simple, creative, fun and informative.

I have several tarot books, but none quite like this. It sets you up to easily remember the cards without using rote memorization. Using the "story" motif, you effortlessly incorporate the position and basic meaning of each card info your memory! I was just amazed. I am not a newbie to tarot, but struggled with all the different combinations and subtle messages. This book gave me tools so I could be free to interpret the information, rather than panic when I couldn't remember the card's meaning. Honestly, spend just an hour reading this and I guarantee that you will walk away with useable and accessible information that you can retain. I couldn't be more pleased.

I really enjoyed these books. He does a great job breaking things down for beginners and pointing out things that I was reading intuitively.
