When Newlywed Wynne Marie receives racy texts from her ex, she’s caught in a titillating game that her husband finds sexy as hell.

Newlywed Wynne Marie Jackson has it all—delicious husband, beautiful New England home, high-paying job in her field. So why does her husband Jake discover her in tears? Two letters: AJ.

When Wynne Marie left Atlanta, she also left behind her well-known spa, Silk, and her co-owner AJ Albright. Together, she and AJ had built their spa into a retreat sought by the stars. However, their relationship went deeper than the Tao massage they specialized in, and while she loves her husband Jake, she misses AJ’s passion.

After a fearful confession, Jake is more understanding—and turned on—than Wynne Marie ever imagined. Can adding AJ to their lives be the realization of her dreams or the end of her marriage?

SILK is one of those quick little reads that makes you want to get naked and roll around in some smooth, satin sheets...with two hot men!

Wynne has a wonderful life. A great job. A handsome and loving, new husband. When she is uprooted from her Atlanta lifestyle to live in New England, she realizes she is missing something she just can't live without--her former business partner and best friend, A.J. Though she tries to hide her feelings of sadness from her husband, Jake, her attempts to put on a happy face are futile. Jake knows something is wrong, but when his suspicions are finally confirmed, he hatches a plan that is sure to put the spring back in her step.

I would love to know more about the trio's relationship prior to Wynne and Jake's big move. Obviously I loved the story, but A.J.'s possessiveness of Wynne was a little much, considering she is a married woman. I am confident that the few bumps in the story line would benefit from knowing how these three previously interacted.

SILK is a hot quickie that will make you wish you had a husband who likes to share!

* I received a copy of this book from Breathless Press in exchange for an honest review*

Wynne Marie is getting ready to start her new job but something doesn’t feel right. She misses her spa and her ex-partner/lover AJ. She loves her husband Jake with all her heart and they have a fantastic life but she soon realizes that something is missing, AJ. How will her husband feel when he finds out she has been texting?

Jake is the happiest man on earth and can’t believe that Wynne Marie is really his wife. He would do anything to make her happy, even invite another man into their lives/bed. He has a secret of his own that could cost him his marriage.

Jake and Wynne Marie have a good life together but each one is hiding something that could be detrimental to their marriage. I like Wynne Marie, she is a strong woman that knows what she likes (in or out of bed) and she isn’t afraid to let her man know. I fell in love with Jake from the beginning. Who wouldn’t want a man that worships you and would do anything to make you happy? AJ had to grow on me; I really didn’t care for him much at first until after he got there. Their “confessions” was one of my favorite scenes in the story.

These two are super hot together but when you add AJ into the mix, holy cow the pages are smoldering. They all have a secret that could affect the others but when everything is out in the open, they find they all have more in common than they thought. I love how even though they all have their own issues, both Jake and AJ work together to make sure that Wynne Marie is happy and loved.

I loved this short story, it was super hot. It flowed well and dealt with all their issues. My only complaint was that it was too short. I would’ve loved to see a little more of the history between AJ and Wynne Marie, I might have liked him sooner. I also would’ve loved to read more about the three of them together and how they go forward, do they all move back to Atlanta?

I think this was my favorite story by Em Petrova so far and can’t wait to read more of her work. I give Silk 4 Flaming Hearts.

Somewhere between 2.5 and 3. I just have a hard time suspending reality that Jake realizes Wynne misses AJ and decides to offer AJ to her to keep her happy. And then he blurts out that he's had feelings for men in the past and is a little bit attracted to AJ. And she accepts it. Bam. Done. No "Wow, I have to absorb this new information that I never knew about my husband," or anything. Just "I'm so happy you told me. I think it would be hot to see you together." Or something like that.

So then they invite AJ into their bedroom, and he gets all freaked out thinking he's being used. At which point Jake admits his bisexuality and AJ seems uncomfortable. But wait! We have another bombshell. The reason AJ and Wynne didn't work out is because he was confused about his lust for one of his male massage clients. So hey! Let's get it on! But then they kinda don't. I mean sure, Jake gives AJ a blowjob, but doesn't even stick his finger up AJ's ass, lol. There was no male penetration.

And then, Wynne is worried about AJ going back to Atlanta and how will she survive that, and then bam, she's happy with everything and going to sleep and it's over.

I dunno... the dialog just seemed so trite sometimes. And things resolved way too quickly.

That's not to say this wasn't a book worthy of reading. It was a *nice* story. And steamy at times. I just thought the addition of AJ along with Jake's bisexuality might make it more interesting and even steamier.

This is a hot little number, so keeping a toy or a man close by might be a good idea.

Given the shortness of the story, everything does feel a little bit rushed. We don't get to know the characters well enough, the plot moves forward very quickly, and decisions are made, literally, in minutes. If this story had been expanded, and the characters were given the chance to mull things over before deciding one way or the other, it would have been that much more believeable.

As it is, I felt like I missed out on a whole story before this story even starts. We do get some insight into what happened in the past, but it still left me with a lot of questions. A story I'd have liked to read. And the ending feels a little abrupt, like there's more to tell after, but the author just ran out of space.

I like that Wynnie and Jake are secure enough in their lives and love to bring in the man Wynnie left behind. The man she still loves; AJ. When AJ gets into the picture, it doesn't feel like he gets a lot of face-time. He literally arrives, is faced with a choice, and decides on the rest of his life in a matter of a couple hours. That is just not believeable. And this is where the story feels sudden and abrupt, and as if the author simply ran out of room to give AJ a proper story.

If this book is ever expanded, I'll be first in line to buy it.

Well, this book was well on it's was to 5 stars until the last few chapters. After all the build up and anticipation, I couldn't wait for the two men to get together. I waited...and waited...You know what the problem was? Annoying, selfish, insensitive, whiny and attention-seeking Wynne Marie! When SHE finally convinced the guys to get together...claiming that SHE wanted to watch them pleasure each other...when the time came, she flung her egocentric ass right in the middle of them! Not once, but twice!

What she said: I want to watch you guys together. That would be so hot!

What she meant: I'm going to be in the middle, and you guys get to pleasure each other, but not really, because you'll only get to feel each other through the barrier of my body and only get to look into each other's eyes by peering around my freaking head!

If that weren't enough, when AJ finally gets up the courage to bring Jake in for their first kiss, she freaking sticks her head right in the middle of them, and sticks her tongue in between theirs and makes it all about her nasty ass...again!

What would have made this a 5 star book? Dump the bitch. Keep the guys!

This was a little new for me because I usually stay away from m/m stories, but I entered a challenge in the Erotica group that has same sex on the list so I gave this book a try.

It was definitely a quick read, so quick actually that I felt it was too rushed. All the decisions seemed to be spur of the moment and not a life long commitment. The idea of the 3-way commitment is intriguing it just wasn't executed very well. The discussion and the sexual exploration between the men was done quite well I think, I just couldn't seem to get emotionally connected to the characters.

The wording went from flowery terms like mons, soaking folds, and honey hole to pussy, clit, cock and back and forth so quick it made my head hurt. The "dirty talk" felt so forced I could imagine them acting out some old porn and I don't think it flowed well.

It wasn't a bad book, just not something that worked for me.

This was a hot little quick read. When Newlywed Wynne Marie receives racy texts from her ex, she’s caught in a titillating game, which her husband finds sexy as hell too. Wynne Marie left a spa she co owned with her partner and ex-lover AJ who she stopped with when she met Jake in Atlanta and moved to Vermont when they got married. Wynne Marie is getting ready to start her new job but something doesn't feel right. She misses her spa and her ex-partner/lover AJ. She loves her husband Jake with all her heart and they have a fantastic life but she soon realizes that something is missing, AJ. This was light on the plot but hot on the sex scenes. This is my first time reading this author and it is not my last. I am looking forward to reading more of her work.

This is a very nice mmf romance. I liked how everybody’s feelings were handled and that the problems were addressed. I did believe that the three would fit together, with no one left out. The sex was very hot.
I did have a big problem with the character AJ. Wynne Marie and Jake met him before this book, so because you don’t really get to know him, for me he felt more like an intruder in the beginning. He was sexually flirting with Wynne Marie, even though he knew she was married. There was something between him and Jake before Wynne Marie left with Jake , but because we don’t read anything about that time, it felt a bit fake that Jake had these feelings for someone that wanted his wife.

Spicy!

I love how Petrova chooses to solve her character's issues with a lot of understanding and love for one another. However, I felt like this particular story might have worked better as a full novel.(...) I believe Em Petrova has created a well-balanced emotional relationship without forgetting to present her mark, very spicy scenes!

I couldn't even make it through this book. It seemed like a man wrote it in the way he thought a woman would. It was just plain terrible.

This novel was a great read but it skipped some good parts. I would of loved a prologue leading up to the wedding and the move away from Atlanta. I did find the triad relationship super hot though.
