33 Minnesota Poets provides a convincing overview of the regionv?s poetic culture. Some of the poets included are well-published, while others have been working invisibly for years. The poems themselves are as various as the seasons.
A great cross-section of different sorts of poetry that happens to have been written by poets from Minnesota. It's not all about loons and Dinkytown, Paul & Babe, or lakes. (And what is, is better than any other collection out there anyway!)
I only wish that the copy that I read, from my local public library, was intact; multiple pages were torn out throughout the book.
