The book begins with detailed descriptions of the heroine's ex and how small his genitals were, many many times. Next we see her on a hunt for a partner, meets the hero, and feels him up.
Soon we get gems like this

3.75 Stars. It had been a while since I read a new Jordan Silver book. I had planned on doing a skim read, as many of her books are somewhat formulaic. However, the unfiltered male point of view really caught my interest. What I didn’t like was the heroine talking to her snatch all the time. Sometimes it was funny at first but then it just got a little old. Overall though, it was an enjoyable book! Worth reading if you like controlling OTT alphas.

This book by Jordan Silver was both annoying and very boring. Everything was repeated over and over - his need to protect her and her thinking very little of herself. It got old fast. Also, so MANY grammatical errors - what's the deal with the author misusing 'worse' and 'worst' in almost every single book she writes?

I don’t get it…
I was very much intrigued by the blurb but 10% in I have to throw in the towel. I don’t understand the writing style and it’s giving me a headache. I keep on rereading whole paragraphs because I have no clue who is speaking or what they are saying. This is very confusing and not what I’m looking for. And don’t get me started on the whole conversations between Steph and her lady bits. It could have been fun and funny but it just added to my overall confusion. Disappointed and too exhausted to fight my way to the end.

I’m not seeing the physical punishments being mentioned in the lower rated reviews. I was disgusted with the male MC for hard spanking the female MC without her consent or a safe word when they had barely met. He was doing it as punishment for her looking at another man in the bar, even before they were a couple. Then, instead of loving on her for being special in his eyes, he gets a belt and starts hitting her with that.
I was astounded that this was Jordan Silver where the alpha males usually put their women on pedestals. Even if they are pissed they don’t beat on the woman.
The cooch conversations were overdone without the charm of this trope in previous books by this author.
A definite DNF. It was dreadful and disappointing.

There is dirty then there's vulgar
I'm sure some will like this and honestly it not the story per say. I'm not a fan of vulgar. Or what I considered nasty not funny . These women and sometimes the guy was out loud vulgar talking as if everybody wanted to hear every word they said and approved. It reminds me of vulgar movies that are supposes to be funny but frankly are insulting . It also reminds me of immature boys in school that think this kind of talk makes them cool ,look big when it only shows intelligence or lack there of . Don't think the writer ment for that to be the case but there it is . It not hot ,romantic or interesting .I don't know if they wrote the " big chick " this way to try to show big girls are sexually attractive or is sex confidence .It was just a very annoying read and absolutely missed all the marks of confident or likes big women .
It was insulting to read about ......actually sounded more like a boy of teen years wrote this 🤷

Stephanie is out celebrating her divorce with her best friend when she sees Mace across the crowded bar. Steph is a bigger girl and thinks there is no way that a man like Mace would ever want a big girl like herself. But she's just drunk enough to go after what she wants but when he turns her down she thinks its because of how she looks when its really because she's too drunk and Mace doesn't want her regretting her decision in the morning. This is a great read and it goes to she you, you need to love yourself if ever expect anyone else to love you!!

Good Bad Boy to the Rescue Romance
First I must say that I LOVED her conversations with Miss Kitty and died laughing the whole time, especially with how HE responds to them!😂😂😂
Great character building that leads to a healthy romance with an abundance of steam. It was nice to watch their characters develop & for her to heal. The ending was sweet & so them. I loved Mace's POVs laced with his anecdotal comments.
My only drawback was that there wasn't much of a climax with a major conflict to resolve, and I spent the entire book waiting for the other shoe to drop. I feel like that was a little bit of a missed opportunity, but the book is still worth reading!

Never disappointed.
Dang, another great story. I started this one out on Vella, but ran out of tokens. Lol. Glad I found it on KU. Stephanie is a lush woman with bay issues. Don't we all in a way .. I loved how Mace fell for her from word one. He was so patient with her and held her through her insecurities. Such a lucky girl. I also loved all the secondary characters. And well Miss Kitty is a hoot.

I LOVE everything JS writes. Loved the comedic, witty, lush Steph. And of course over the top protective Mace. Loved how Mace firmly held his stance on right is right and wrong is wrong. This book was a win for all the big beautiful women out there! What a great love story! Mace was simply the best! That man and his interest in his lush women was so genuine and romantic, his protective nature also helped Steph become an emotionally strong women. This humorous book with awesome characters is a must read! Better editing would have made this a 5 star book.

Love the storyline. You have Mace who sees Steph in his club one night talking to her friend, Nat. He is very attracted to Steph's body and decides to listen to their conversation, getting a wild look into her interests. They get together going thru several problems or instances ( like her talking to her bits, having arguments with it). Showing her no matter what she went thru he will stand by her side.

I love this story so much
Jordan Silver hits another homerun with this story. The POVs between both ML and FL were beyond hilatious.I found myself laughing so much. I wish we had known what happened to her family background aside from her grandfather left her his company. This is for anyone who needs a good laugh and some inspiration. It also teaches you how to react to adult bullies.

Another home run
Excellent read from start to finish. I have really missed the author’s work. An interesting, intriguing and fascinating story. The book was well written, the plot was very developed and detailed and the characters were very lovable and relatable. I would highly recommend this book. Kudos to the author.

almost peed my pants
I normally only read short books but this one snuck up on me and I couldn’t put it down. I have never laughed so hard except when reading Janet Evanovich! I got all the feels from this book but it was the sarcasm that stole my heart. If all Jordan Silver’s books are like this I will be a avid fan for life!!

I enjoyed this book from start to finish. A Hilarious, romantic romance that had me laughing so much at this couple’s interactions.

Very, very spicy. Not a lot of plot or not more than spice. There is mention of something happening in the town, but nothing ever comes of the statement. The family drama is cleared up. The exes drama is cleared up. There’s a lot of talk about self esteem, self talk and body image. It’s not the greatest or most in depth book I’ve ever read but I didn’t hate it.

Definitely the One
While novellas have their place, I love that the book took the time to develop the characters and build their relationship. The controversy in the story was believable along with the humorous conversations that Steph had with her body part. I loved Mace as the hero. The intimate scenes were also off the charts but not OTT. Excellent read!
