Quick Read

I enjoyed this, I definitely felt for Egypt instantly. Vance was trash and I’m very pleased with how things turned out for him. This was almost instalove and I do wish we would have seen the relationship with Grey/Egypt develop a bit more but I still enjoyed it. I will say TW/CW were needed for domestic violence and the editing could be tighter but other than that another entertaining read from Jatoria.

Grim Reaper

A few typos but a great story line that was easy to follow. Two brothers, Black and Grey provide security for 3 sisters, Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. Grey secret side job is he is a hired unaliver.
His job was to protect Egypt after her ex brutally put his hands on her because he's an abuser.

Grey was the truth, and I was here for all of it.

This story grabbed me right from the start and didn’t let up. Grey brought the kind of steady, protective energy that makes you sit up and pay attention. Egypt had been through it—caught up in a toxic cycle she couldn’t seem to break. Watching her slowly unlearn that pain and open up to something real was powerful.

Egypt’s loyalty to her sisters was solid, but her blind spots when it came to Vance made things complicated. Still, her growth was undeniable. And Grey? He didn’t talk much but his love—he showed it. When things went left, he stepped up and handled it. No hesitation. His loyalty ran deep, and that made him stand out.

I’m definitely keeping an eye on Jordan and Black too—their presence was strong, and I need that story next. Their vibe was unmatched.

Solid read, strong characters, and a story that left me wanting more. Jatoria did her thing with this one! This isn't my first read by Jatoria, and let me just say—I love her style, her characters, and the way she brings crazy! She knows how to tell a story that keeps you locked in.

🔥🔥🔥

Absolutely loved this standalone. There were no words to perfectly describe Vance he was so controlling, and possessive. The things he did to Egypt wow especially when he felt he was about to loose her for good the lies he told and the way he and one of his jump offs played in her face was too much for anyone to handle that's when she found her true strength and was fed up unfortunately Vance wasn't having it. After what he had done to Egypt the only good thing he had ever done for her was calling 911 and leaving the door unlocked.
Now when Grey got to the hospital and he and Egypt locked eyes I just knew that was it for him, he started feeling things he had never felt before and this happened all before they even spoke to each other; then when he carried her up the stairs and her hand landed on his chest over his heart I knew he was gone. The way Grey fell in love with Egypt was beautiful in his own way. Great story now just need to find out how their baby sister and Sad ended up together.

We all need a Grey

Egypt has given Vance too many chances and he still can’t get it right. Continuing to take him back after his constant cheating, lying and abuse leads to one bad argument. Egypt finds herself in the hospital in need of protection. Her sisters call in Grey and his brother Black.

Grey is not one for small talk and definitely not relationships. That is until he lays eyes on Egypt. Even battered her beauty shines through and protecting her is the least of his worries. Falling in love is higher on the list.

These two BURN!!! From the very start it’s hot and Grey makes everybody pay when it comes to her. He shows her that she is worthy of love, protection and he will provide ALL her needs.

Ok read. It's a good story, well written but there are some buts. One of the things I didn't like was how the mutli-pov was handled. We get these deep inside perspective from people who are quickly dispatched. Almost feels rushed. There isn't a true proper conclusion of them and their storyline. It feels unsatisfactory. And in the case of the big bad very anticlimatic. My other issue was the pacing seemed a little off. Again some things were sped up when it didn't feel necessary and others focused on didn't seem to need all that attention. But the characters were interesting and I wanted to know how the HEA was going to work out.

Great Read🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This my first time reading a book by this author but it won't be the last time. I really enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end. It seemed like Egypt couldn't catch a break, but Grey was a real man that protected her and gave her that happy ever after that she needed. I'm so glad that she finally found someone that really loved her besides her sister. I would love to hear from them again especially the sister's story. Jatoria keep up the awesome work.

Such A Great Way To Find Happiness!

Jatoria, good read. I love this story. I wish everyone that has this situation can come out the other side. To see men that are so insecure themselves be able to have such a hold on a woman because she really loves them, is such a sad situation. Some never make it where others get it done with minimal emotional damage. Egypt, got a second chance and Grey never knew what he needed until he met Egypt. Grey had secrets of his own that should have crushed a woman. I tell you though love wins all the time.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Egypt x Grey - insta lust, insta love. This was a great story although I didn’t like the writing style of this one. The story line was great and entertaining but there were points when the author was telling you exactly what was happening and it was too many words and not enough creating the picture (that’s just me). Again I did enjoy the story and will likely read the next one with Jordan (the older sister).

I’ll also add there should be a TW because there were some tough topics so be mindful of that going into this read.

Great Read !!

I enjoyed reading this so much . The commentary was hilarious. Vance was such a bucket (I can’t say a stronger word on here), it is sad that there really are unstable creatures (🤣😭) out here like that. But Black and Grey were just 😍😍. I loved the progression of the characters and the love story in its entirety. I really flew through this read, laughing and blushing the whole way through 🥰 I cannot wait to read more from you !!

Seized the heart of the Reaper🔥🔥🔥

I loved the pace of this book from the beginning to the end. Egypt went through so much dealing with Vance trifling behind. She was a smart girl, but allowed a man to manipulate her. I loved her sisters and they didn’t play when it came to her. Hopefully we will hear more about them and their relationships. Gray and Black were both book baes. Overall, great read!

Love me some Grey!!
His connection and Chemistry with Egypt couldnt/wouldnt be denied!!
This was entertaining from beginning to end..... first read by this author.
Egypt was definelty a damsel in distress...of her own making. The way she accepted the cruelty and manipulation of Vance until it almost cost her life was crazy, with the support system she had.
Enter Grey, the Man with the master plan and real love to give.
Would love spin-off of Jordan and Black

Reaper of her heart

First time reading this author. It was a nicely balanced story. I could of done without the pov of the 1st man. Although the information the reader received from him was relevant. I love the chemistry between Egypt and Grey, would of loved more conversations between them instead of ‘we talked all night’. Enjoyed the spice, could of used a little more for my preference.

dnf at 21%

Ended up dnfing. It got worse and worse and worse, straight up overkill till it literally felt like the author was intentionally taking the heroine through the wringer for fun. And I know it’s fiction but find it hard to believe Egypt is this intelligent, classy woman but still went with the okie-doke and let a man fresh out of prison come live with her. Like what was the appeal?

Aside from it being mentioned they spoke on the phone, there was nothing that showed why or how she was comfortable enough to let him stay with her. There was nothing to show why she loved this man despite how terrible he treated her. And Vance was a very one dimensional villain. There was nothing reason or explanation for how he treated Egypt, Keisha or anyone for that matter. And if he is just evil for the hell of it, that wasn’t mentioned.

The writing or editing also isn’t the best. Everything is told instead of shown, the characters don’t have voices, personalities or anything. Egypt has this job helping young girls but the writing is so mechanical and stiff I found myself skimming through it.

Egypt and Grey

Egypt was in a very abusive relationship with Vance. Vance was a no-good dog. Instead of letting her go, he thought he would give a bullshit apology, and all is well. But he went too far. Egypt deserved better. In the end, she got what she deserved, and so did Vance. You reap what you sow.

Seized the Heart of a Reaper

Very good love story though it was not perfect at the beginning. The ex-boyfriend, Vance, was a horrible person that tried to control and manipulate every situation, but when Grey was introduced to Egypt they both learned the true meaning of love. Great storyline!

The Grim Reaper

Vance thought he was a big man but got taken out like a pig 😂😂. Keisha and Chris should of left well enough alone. Grey didn't play about the ones he loved. I loved how Egypt like to protect her sisters but I feel she shouldn't have kept going back to Vance. Jordan and Black 🖤 needs a book

This is the first book I read from this author and it most certainly won't be the last one. I like that the Author got straight to the point. She didn't drag on and on repeating the same stuff. This is one of my new favorites. Grey didn't play when it came to Egypt. No spoiler from me.

ok

This book was good I just wish the author didn’t make everything happen so quick it’s not even realistic. Also this book had so many similarities to the last book I read from her the sex scenes to the giving birth I felt like I was reading the other book but it was a good read tho

okay

The typos were too much. They got worse by the turn of each page. If I never read another book about someone digesting semen again, I would truly be okay. That was so vile and I can’t understand how she didn’t know the difference with the rice. No one reached out about the house been burned up? A lot of things didn’t make sense.

Good

This was a good book. Egypt was in a bad situation with Vance, he was truly a bad guy. But Grey steps in and offers his home as shelter from Vance as a favor to his brother Black. They fall in bed together, then more drama happens, then they fall in love, then a little more drama happens and then finally they get their HEA. I took off a star for the numerous editing errors.

Great story.

Seized the heart of reaper was about a young woman named Egyt in a abusive relationship and she was trying to find a way out. Enter Grey a established businessman with a security business who had sworn to protect her. Grey and Egypt finds bond and have a magnetic pull to one another. Although Grey has never been in love, he finds it. Great read 📚 brava!

Grey and Egypt

This was a good quick read. I liked Grey and loved how he protected Egypt from the jump even though it started out as a favor to his brother. Vance was the scum of all scums and he deserved exactly what he got. Chris and Keisha should have minded their business but I guess they were in a lose lose situation either way.💞💞

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ good book.

This was a good read. Vance was one of the most nastiest sucka I've read about. I mean down right freaking trifling... but Grey was bae. He came and shut it down. I hope Jordan and Black mend their relationship.

Was cute 3.8 good

This was cute... the typos a bit much, but I was so happy the E finally got happiness. Vance really could have died on page one...just saying. I would love a book on the sisters.
The pace was good and the story kept me entertained. My first from the author.
