I haven't read Mesha in a while, and I saw this on someone's ig. So I wanted to read it. I haven't read any others in the series, so idk anything between them. I do know they dance around each other.
Now Roman is done pushing Billie away he hires her company to keep her close and when she's out at the club she's harassed by some guy and her friend helps her by telling the guy she's engaged to Roman not knowing the guy is someone apart of the Mafia family trying to make a deal with Roman.
So this little white lie helped Roman since he doesn't want anyone beside Her so he goes along with the lie when he knows his feelings are real. Now, idk why Billie kept pushing away when both said they like each other, so it makes no sense to me?
We get some delicious scenes with them and pubishments because Willie does act like a brat. Which Roman straightens her out. There is drama from that family who wants Roman to marry his daughter and a small drama from Billie's past. Nothing too bad.
Safety-idk in previous books if there were others. But Billie said she went on one date and he ruined it. And Roman kept towels for his hookups. But nothing was said when the last time they were with others. Tiny ow drama. It was near the end. But not bad and Roman never wanted her.

Savored Innocence is the fifth book in the Innocent Brides series and we finally get Roman and Billie's story which has been teased for awhile. When Roman sets roots down he also decides to make the one woman that has fascinated him for awhile his. Billie makes it real easy on him when she tells a little lie about Roman being her fiancé and Roman decides to capitalize on it. Billie fights their attraction but Roman will make her see how good they can be together even when danger knocks on their door.
Savored Innocence was good but not my favorite of the series and honestly I felt like Roman lacked some bulldozing alpha maleness to him. I wanted him to be a little more dominating. He was still possessive and demanded obedience but I wouldn't have been mad if he'd been a little more psychotic.
Billie was a great character until she acted like a child which is where the daddy kink came in. The more I read romance, the more the whole daddy vibe really does it for me. EXCEPT when there's an age play or immaturity feel to it. Billie was intelligent and strong but sometimes her actions were cringe.
A dark mafia romance that didn't feel all that dark and didn't really touch on the mafia world all that much. But it definitely had plenty of steam and a HEA.

No plot, yet again it’s all sex, sex and sex, and really badly written.
Oh boy. The plot is missing in this one as well. Billie has always liked Roman, and Roman has always liked Billie. For some reason that is never explained why, they avoid each other. Eventually because Billie lies and says Roman is her fiancé, they have a fake engagement, but neither of them wants it to be fake. They don’t discuss it like adults though. The whole book is yet again, sex, sex and more sex. Nothing happens. It’s so frustrating as she could have put Billie in danger from her past, or her ex and it would have been so much better. The time scale is all over the place as well. On one page she’s staying at his house, the next she’s stayed at home. He supposedly wants her forever, but barely sees her. She’s supposedly in love with him but seems angry with him when he turns up at her work. It doesn’t make sense!!!
I will admit I don’t normally like Daddy books but I have read a few that have been really really good. This is the polar opposite. I’ve never ever read a book bdsm, or Daddy where the man says about a*al sex, “This is going to hurt, but I’m still going to do it anyway.” Without preparing her, making sure she’s really relaxed, just shoving it in. That would be so painful and could cause serious problems for the woman. STOP WRITING ABOUT THIS AS YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO CLUE!!! When two fingers slip in effortlessly you know the author has no idea about it!!! Then there’s the other sex scenes were he blindfolds her and twists her nipples, and it’s really painful, but underneath the pain there’s something building. Nope! There has to be a buildup to doing stuff.

Ruined the series
I had to stop from disgust and concern at 30%. This story contains a bizarre, clearly 1ncest*ous fantasy dynamic that ruined the series.
*SPOILERS*
A 40 year old man dating a 25 year old can be surprising without having to question the younger party’s maturity. But he is actively trying to make her into a childlike person, insisting she calls him “Daddy” even outside the bedroom and refers to her as “my little girl”. He also treats her as such, dictating as much as her diet. After manipulating his way into her life at the very beginning of the book, this all too much and very disturbing.
From a simple hint I could tell the female lead had been ab-s3d as a ch;ld and obviously had daddy issues that were or were not related to that, so them playing daddy daughter day and night felt dark and problematic. You’d think a 40 year old would check with his partner if they had any history of ab-s3 before making themselves into a parental figure that f*cks them, but maybe it’s just my wishful thinking.
It’s just weird. I was reading this on kindle and just searched certain words to catch up on the characters from the previous books and let it go.

Really enjoying this series! By that ending it sounds like the this might be the last book. Really great characters and I love when they are there for each other. Billie and Roman have been circling each other for two years and it is about time they get together. When Billie accidentally becomes Roman’s fiancée they are forced together. Roman isn’t complaining though. What’s a Daddy Dom to do? ;)
Enjoyed how the plot circled around and everything was resolved nicely. Satisfying ending! I binged this series and I recommend it for those that enjoy a darker romance with alpha male characters and the women who give them a run for their money. I will definitely be checking the author’s other books.

This is the 5th book in the series but it can be read as a standalone. Billie claims she is engaged to Roman so a guy would leave her alone at the club. Little did she know Roman was there trying to get out of an arraigned marriage. What will happen when Billie discovers she likes being his little girl? Fast-paced steamy read with loads of drama and great characters. I liked it.

Part of the Innocent Brides series each can be read as a standalone but each one is amazing with a protective sexy and the girl who captures his attention without even trying 😊 Buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. Measha Stone makes me want to find a Russian quickly. These men are dominate and when they fall they fall hard and only once. Roman Romanov has been biding his time waiting for the perfect opportunity to make Billie Waters his. After two years of waiting, Roman made his move. Unbeknownst to Roman, Billie has been waiting for him as well.
Billie Waters works as a property manager and Roman waltzes back into her life under the guise of having her company manage his properties. Billie has a girl's night out in a club and runs to Roman to protect her. It's the perfect storm. Roman is in need of a fiancé and Billie fits the bill. Though Roman plays it off as role-playing, he knows he has every intention of keeping Billie forever.
There is a lot to unpack in this book. You know Measha doesn't just do love stories. The mafia component adds an air of fear to the plot. It is always an underlying current given how the mafia makes its money and stays in power. Billie is playing a game that she doesn't realize is very real to Roman. The biggest problem is this game that they are playing is for a reason. Another family is looking at Roman for an alliance with their daughter. Billie is Roman's cover and the other family cannot know that this was a ruse to get Roman out of a deal his father brokered.
The steam that comes off these two is ridiculous. Billie is not a naïve, young girl. She is a woman who knows what she wants. Billie finds out very quickly how Roman deals with stubborn little girls. If you are ready for the ride of your life, grab this book and hold on tight.

“Savored Innocence” is the fifth book in the ‘Innocent Brides’ series by Measha Stone. Although it’s part of a series, it’s written so it can be read and understood as a standalone story. I do think if you’re familiar with the series you will be able to get more out of some of the subtext, of course. This is an age-gap Mafia romance that includes an age-play dynamic.
Roman has been interested in Billie for a couple of years already, but the timing and the situation just weren’t right. Things have changed and he’s determined to change their relationship as well – by developing a relationship with her that is no longer a distant one. When unexpected circumstances present an opportunity, Roman is ready to use it for his advantage. Billie has been intrigued by Roman since the first time she saw him but was convinced that he didn’t even notice her. She couldn’t have been more wrong. But she knows he’s in a dangerous “business”, and she’s already hiding so many secrets of her own…… Getting involved with him is just not a good idea. However, we all know that “bad” ideas frequently lead to the best stories.
Roman and Billie are both interesting characters and the chemistry between them is frequently intense. There are some good secondary characters who appeared in other books in the series, so it’s nice to get updates on what’s going on with them. Although this is a dark romance, it’s not particularly dark (if that concerns you). There are multiple scenes that include domestic discipline, but nothing too over the top. I thought the ending tied up the story nicely.

Roman is back for good, ready to ensnare his fascination, when Billie tells a small lie that Roman is her fiancé. Both want so much more, but Billie fights their connection. When a side danger threatens everything, will he be able to save his heart before a war erupts?
Oh my goodness, this book was so good! I loved everything about Billie and Roman, including their connection, passion, and unique dynamic to their relationship. Ms. Stone does not often write a Daddy, but she should be she does it so well. Roman was this fascinating blend between being super filthy, but obsessively caring and protective and I loved him so much! I wasn’t expecting the Daddy side to come out, but I adored it. Billie was so strong and capable, but she had this softer side to herself that she needed to protect because it had been hurt before. I liked her sass, that she could hold up in his world, and I loved the ways that she pushed Roman’s buttons, but I liked that she depended on him just as much, too. They had such a strong connection with a super steamy physical side and phew, it was just so good! This was not an age play book, but the Daddy dynamic added a whole new layer to their connection. The danger in this book was a little unexpected, a lot intense in the end, and I loved every edge-of-my-seat moment of reading this book! I don’t know if this is the last book in this series or not, but oh man, I want to go back and reread this whole series!!

🥀Savored Innocence is another great story I've enjoyed in recent days. In it I met a strong alpha male character who is ready to protect the love of his life at any cost, even from her. Roman is hard and at first glance domineering and cold, but after getting to know him, the reader finds in him a caring and very devoted man. After a misunderstanding, he gets the chance he's been waiting for two years, and no one and nothing will distract him from his goal, not even a small and naive girl who rejects her feelings because she's afraid of their power.
🥀The story is great and very fascinating. It's a very quick read and I didn't even realize when I was turning the last page. In it you will find strong passion, moments filled with a lot of tension and a strong and very sensual love. I adore it and can't wait to enjoy the rest of the books in the series.💗

Roman & Billie ~ Daddy Kink
This is the fifth book in the Innocent Brides series, and it did not disappoint! The whole series just keeps getting better and better, in my opinion.
We get a healthy dose of action, suspense, and so much steam - all things I have come to expect from this series. Not to mention, there's always a lot to unpack with this one. You have Billie, who carries a lot of hurt from her past, with a ton of mental and emotional scars. Then you have Roman, the perfect healing balm for his baby girl. Then there's the ultra-possessiveness, and I'm here for it!
I mean, Daddy Roman, anyone?
Although, I still stand by what I said in the last review. Maxim is still my favorite in this series.

A daddy with his little, whom he feels that he can be over protective.
Roman always knew that Billie was the woman for him. Billie has come a long way from being in witness protection, seeking her college degree and living her life until she met Roman Romanov who turned her world upside down. Billie is really a little but not too many men understand her especially her ex boyfriend. Roman on the other hand knew and just wanted to take care of her. They both had feelings for each other. One night she went out with her friend and went to Roman night club where she was hit on by a Russian guy. So she said that she was Roman fiancée, not realizing the guy Roman was meeting was trying to set him up with his daughter as part of a business deal. Roman backed up her story by telling the guy he was going to marry Billie. A beautiful love story with a twist to the story and a rescue mission to save Billie’s life. I enjoyed the Innocent Brides series. I recommend reading this story.

Since “Ruined Innocence” we have been getting little bits of story about Billie and Roman. Now their story is being told. Billie is trying to avoid Roman at all costs. She knows the Romanov are bad news. Roman is just temptation that she can’t afford to fall into. Roman has waited 2yrs to have Billie as his owns. That was too long. He isn’t about to let her get away anymore.
You have to love the chemistry these two have. From the beginning they were burning hot and it just keeps getting better. Billie’s friend Giselle got her in hot water with Roman. Now not only is she having to deal with three of his properties but she is he fiancée. It is only pretend. But Roman is planning on making it permanent. I love the push and pull with these two as well as Roman letting her little out. We also find out some secrets hidden by Billie about her past. I am truly loving this one. And I am thrilled to see the rest of the family in this one as well.

Had a hard time putting this book down.
This book was a little different than the others by this author. Yes, it deal with the Russian mafia family, and there are spankings and graphic sexual scenes in it is the other books, so if that is something difficult for you to read this is not the book for you. Billy works for a property management company and Roman has just made her the manager of them all. Going out that night with her girlfriend she accidentally bumps into this guy that will not let her go. To get away from him she tells him she is Romans fiancee. Luckily or unlucky for her Roman is Up in the private suite making a deal, and it is at this point that he finally get Bill where he wants her. But when the truth Billy this accidentally comes out will she make it out alive?

Savored Innocence is the fifth book in the Innocent Brides series by Measha Stone but can be read as a stand-alone. I personally recommend reading the books in order to gain the most insight to all the characters.
I have enjoyed this series so far but sadly I am not a “Daddy” fan so this particular story took me a bit longer to read. While I enjoyed Roman and Billie story for the most part, I just could have done without all the “daddy” talk. I totally understand if that is your thing, but normally it is a pass for me but I did stick with the story to the end.
We do see Roman and Billie go though some conflict, dealing with Billie and her insecurities, Roman… will Roman being Roman, some mafia business, romance and of course all the smexy scenes.
Now it is time to move on to book 6!

I’ve read all the books in the Innocent Brides series, and SAVORED INNOCENCE is my favorite. It’s age-gap with a “daddy” vibe that was really hard to put down. Roman is the textbook alpha that has been possessive and protective of Billie from afar for two years.
Billie has been having mediocre relationships and building her career. It’s one of those situations where no one does it for her but Roman. While she’s feisty, she also needs to yield control to someone, and that is Roman.
The book is steamy and Roman certainly knows what he’s doing. It’s got suspense, conflict and all of my favorite mafia entanglements. Loved it!.

This book was beyond worth the wait! It was SO good. What a sexy book. I couldn’t get enough of Roman’s dominance. The only thing I would love to see in these stories is more storyline built around the family business. It’s a mafia book. Revolving around a mafia family. It needs more details and action revolving their business to make it more suspenseful and exciting. But without taking away from the main character storyline and all the spice that’s in with it. The story would just have to be longer. It’d be so worth it though! It’s still a great book. But that would take it from a 4 star book to a 5 star book.

I am going to venture out and say Billie and Roman’s story is my absolute favorite so far! We have seen hints at these two throughout the series and let me tell you I hoped and prayed their day would come and I was not disappointed. Roman is freaking everything and when he has his sights set and his mind made up there is nothing that is going to change that. Billie was always going to be his it was just a matter of when and she puts not only herself but Roman in a sticky situation which works in Roman’s favor to claim what we already know is his. The chemistry with these two is explosive their fire and spice scenes will melt your kindle. I couldn’t get enough of these two. Fantastic read!

I’ve waited for this book since Measha Stone started this series and Savored Innocence was very much worth the wait.
Roman and Billie’s story is a well written darkish but very intense mafia romance with a little danger and suspense woven into a love story with a highly adorable, extremely endearing yet so freaking hot ddlg dynamic that you won’t know whether to melt into a puddle or burst into flames.
The book is very easy to read, with solid, complex and completely lovable characters and a plot that moves at an authentic pace, taking some unexpected turns and holding me captive from interest piquing beginning to smile inducing end.

I always know I'll love Ms. Stone's books & this one was 100% perfect IMO.
Roman & Billie, their evolving relationship, the premise, the plot, the writing were all wonderful.
This one kept me thoroughly engaged as well as invested & I needed to know what would happen next. Completely enthralled me from beginning to end.
Sizzle & steam, erotic punishments, danger, suspense all beautifully balanced throughout this Mafia romance. Smooth writing that never distracted or took me out of the world into which Ms. Stone created, peopled with characters I came to deeply care about.
A wonderful read I thoroughly enjoyed & expect to reread often!!

Measha hits this one out of the ballpark!
I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn’t put the book down until I turned the last page! I fell in love with Roman and Billie and more than love how they are brought together by a mishap at a bar. What’s not to love with how Roman goes with the misnomer that they are engaged in front of all much to Billie’s chagrin. Then the steam heats up with Roman taking on a daddy role with Billie who struggles with it yet seemingly fits her. Add in suspense, some laughs with Billie being a brat and Roman taking action to correct said brat and you’ll want the “Happily Ever After” ending!
