Fated Mates of the Zaarn #3

Wanted by the Alien Rogue

Rate this book
The huge blue alien says I’m his wife. But I can’t afford to be distracted by his bulging muscles… or his wicked tail.

MOLLIE
Gorgeous blue alien warriors rescued me from cryosleep, but the other women of my expedition weren’t so lucky. As head pilot, I need to find the missing human ship and fly everyone to safety.

I partner up with a handsome hunk. Sul’s boisterous, fun, and fine as hell. With him, I start to enjoy life in a way I’ve never known. He keeps feeding me my favorite foods and treating me like I’m precious.

When our search for clues takes us to an exotic tree city, mobsters force us to hide in a pleasure house with fully equipped rooms. I’ve never felt desirable before, and Sul’s heated “kizz” offers one hell of a temptation. Yet I can’t stray from my mission, no matter how much he makes my body soar.

SUL
I never thought a big brute like me would be worthy of a fated mate, let alone one as beautiful and talented as Mol-Lee.

I’ll do anything to please her, and she wants to rescue her ship from the Abyss. When we go undercover to discover how to survive that deathtrap, I put on the tiniest, most ludicrous outfit a male can wear. I’ll do whatever it takes to protect her, learn everything I can to pleasure my delectable mate.

Then I’ll make her mine.

Wanted by the Alien Rogue is a steamy alien romance featuring a virgin alien mercenary eager to learn and a driven heroine ready to discover the joy in life. Strap in for a fun ride filled with adventure, toe-curling steam, and a heartfelt HEA.

aHHH Sul and Mollie my babies 🥺
Sul thinks he's unworthy because he couldn't find his soulmate and people said he's more muscles less brain, so when he realizes his mate is a pilot he feels extra dumb 😭 at the same time Mollie finds herself less attractive(she didn't exactly said this) because she's small and teased about it on earth😤 (i get tired of reading about how small she is at first but we all have our own insecurities so ok) he's also a virgin and thinks she wouldn't want him because of that(where did that thought come from??) buttt obviously that's not happened and i loved reading about him, he's a golden retriever bf!!💖

i skipped the second book but i think i should've read it because the plot was interconnected, i understood what was happening since i knew the world and characters from the first book but yeah i definitely recommend reading the first two books.

i'm giving 4 stars because the action towards the end tired me but it's good since they rescued hundreds of women so i'm curious what will happen now to those women and i know one of them will be mated to Raxnor 🤭🤭

Emotion welled in my chest. “Sul, I shouldn’t have waited. I want—”
“To wait until the rest of us can’t hear you,” Raxnor said in a deep growl.
“Stop stopping them!” Tark cried out. “I’m taking notes.”
“For when you get your fated mate?”
“Yes!”

side characters were the funniest in this 😂

also this has the SWEETEST side kick pet(?). i don't know what it is, Mollie described it as "like a squirrel" but it's glowing and sparkling so i imagined her as a flying star shape 😂

NGL, it was a little rough coming back to the world of the Zaarn after over a year since reading book 2. I forgot a LOT. That said, I did enjoy the book. Mollie was fiercely independent and kind, very fixated on finding the ship. Sul was an absolute teddy bear and they were a cute couple. The Grug hive mind is a fun concept and I’m looking forward to answers about what’s going on politically between the Grug and other species.
As always, there was a fun side kick pet; this time a mostly incorporeal creature.

Spice: 3.5/5

Triggers: abduction (off page), human trafficking (off page), emotional abuse (off page), violence and blood, mentions of deteriorating conditions on earth

This is the third installments in the Fated Mates of Zaarn series!

I though I would love Sul from the other books, and I was right. He has shy boi, cinnamon roll himbo vibes all wrapped up in a giant, hulking male with a great sense of humor. If you love a size difference like me, this is the perfect space adventure spicy romance.

As a POC female pilot in a male dominated field, Mollie had to work twice as hard to be recognized as one of best pilots on Earth. Not to mention she’s only 5’ 2” ish, and when you’re short people tend to talk down to you and not take you seriously (As 5’ nothing myself, I can attest that this is fact 🤣.).

Sul really touched my heart with his low view of his intelligence. He was often called stupid a lot and man did that hit me deep, as I had a similar experience growing up. I loved how Mollie saw past those old false labels, and helped him realize that he is actually incredibly smart!

I loved these two! They were super cute together! Sul was protective and sweet, and Mollie was one badass pilot, capable and smart. The continuing story is so good! We find out what happened to the Arc 1 and follow our hero’s as they try to get it back, a seemingly impossible task. This one was a medium burn and medium spice, lots of sweet moments, action, humor, and we get another space pet, a different one this time! I loved Glitter, she was such an interesting and sweet pet too!

I love these books, Krista Luna is a insta-buy author for me and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: fated mates
Angst: 😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

I really liked this one! I felt like it was heavy on the action/adventure and it definitely held my interest till the end. Loved Mollie and loved how passionate she is about flying. I absolutely adored Sul, our golden retriever hero, who makes it his life's mission to be their for his fated mate - even when she doesn't know it at first. Wanted by the Alien Rogue is the latest book in the Fated Mates of the Zaarn series by Krista Luna. In this book we see the human women and the Zaarn continue their partnership to fight the evil Grugs and continue the search for the missing ship filled with more humans (and potential mates for the Zaarn). Wanted by the Alien Rogue is a standalone, but the series is best enjoyed when read in series order. It's told in first person, from dual perspective. Can't wait to see what's next!

Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔

Character development: ☺️🙁😍🥰
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

🌹 The Heroine: Mollie

Mollie is the determined and headstrong pilot leading humanity’s quest for a new home among the stars. Awakened from cryosleep by towering, blue-skinned Zaarn aliens, she’s thrust into a world of mystery and recovery after the tragic loss of her expedition ship, ARC-1. What makes her truly stand out isn’t just her grit—it’s her refusal to let years of Earthside training go to waste. Despite never piloting beyond Earth’s orbit, she’s ready to pilot a Zaarn vessel and venture toward the abyss to bring her people home.

🛡️ The Hero: Sul

Sul is not your average alien heartthrob—he’s a brawny outcast with some bruised self-worth. Banished from his home world for never finding a mate, he’s spent years in quiet exile. So when his tail turns a prophetic purple—marking Mollie as his fated mate—he’s thrown into emotional chaos. Sul’s blend of muscle, melancholy, and quiet devotion is oddly endearing. His journey from shame to self-acceptance feels earned, not overly dramatized, and watching him try to win Mollie over is both sweet and satisfying.

🔥 The Plot

ARC-1’s location? Sector 3—a region of interstellar bad juju where ships enter but never return. Think Bermuda Triangle in space, minus the tropical vibes. Rumors swirl about a lone escape pod and survivor who reached the planet Juro. Mollie and Sul undertake a covert mission (in disguise!) to find that survivor and uncover the truth. It’s mystery meets adventure with just enough peril to keep you biting your nails… or nibbling Zaarn meat rolls.

💖 What Worked for Me

• Sul balances brute strength with emotional vulnerability—his insecurities add depth without undermining his presence.
• Mollie and Sul’s undercover escapade on Juro spices up their dynamic and keeps the stakes high.
• The world-building is delightfully immersive. Alien foods get flavorful shoutouts—those meat-veggie rolls sound oddly craveable, especially with Zaarn dipping sauces.
• Mollie’s pet Glitter, a star wisp who floats through walls, reads minds, and feeds on sunshine, might just be the MVP of cuteness.
• The tech comparisons were clever. Humans outshine the Zaarn in cryo-sleep, but Zaarn space suits are chef’s kiss.
• And space isn’t just a setting—it’s a passion. Mollie’s joy in piloting and Sul’s talent for spacewalks made their bond feel genuinely celestial.
• Alien spunk apparently tastes like caramel.

😐 What Didn’t Quite Work

• The slow burn between Mollie and Sul had sizzling potential but took its sweet time to ignite. Impatient romantics might feel teased.
• Mollie’s insecurity about being short and slim felt repetitive and oddly disconnected. Given how often petite heroines steal the spotlight, her assumptions about Earth men felt off.

🎧 Narration Impressions

Dual POV narration by Tor Thom and Elle Sonali brought the characters vividly to life. Tor’s deep, resonant voice was alien perfection, especially for a hulking Zaarn hero. Elle Sonali’s soft yet confident delivery matched Mollie’s humanity and tenacity. Together, they delivered an immersive audio experience that made the stars feel a little closer.

Book 3 is out today so be sure to grab them all - these are highly bingeable space heists + fated mates alien romances 😍 They all connect and they’ve all gotten 5⭐️’s from me!!!
5⭐️3🌶️

Sul is our sweet himbo bruiser who feels unworthy of a mate as beautiful and intelligent as Mollie. Mollie is a pilot who has had to overcome a lot! She’s short, female, and black so she has had a laser-focus on her dreams of being a pilot and had to constantly compete with men who dismiss her because of who she is. She assumes Sul will be the same but he’s constantly proving her wrong.

“I know you’re tough. I saw you take out multiple Grug all on your own.” He grinned down at me. “But that doesn’t mean you have to be tough all the time—not when I can help.”

Together they go on a mission to gather information on the location of the missing ship full of human women (the ARK 1) and find out that not only do they not have to do everything alone, but actually their skills really complement each others and as a team they can support each other so they both shine 😍

“He always joked about being dumb, but deep down, it was the lingering damage from his family instead of a joke. But just like his idea with using the gliders to meet the arrow in midair, this was a brilliant example of a quick and adaptive intelligence. Sul could think on his feet and make great use of whatever he had on hand.”

I love how the plot connects through the series, we’ve been making steady progress to find the ARK 1 and *big* things happen in this book! I’m definitely excited for whats to come and I can’t say it enough: this is such a fun series! Perfectly balanced action to romance, perfect pacing, and fun spice including accidental voyeurism that had me screaming at my kindle 😵🤣

I received an advanced copy for review - all opinions are my own.

You know what? For me, this whole series so far has been a great sci-fi adventure romp with some romance woven in and I'm loving it. In this book, more of the mystery around the controlling race, the Grug, is explored and the hunt for the missing human ship ARK 1 continues. It was great fun.

Picture a golden retriever but malamute, cane corso, st bernard, etc. size. That's our MMC Sul: huge, beefy, and full golden retriever energy. He's very easy going, bit of a doof, and an all around honest, good person. What you see is what you get with Sul. I liked him a lot!

I also appreciated that he's very good at the things he's good at (spacewalks, fighting) but when he tries something new, he wasn't immediately an expert at it. In fact, he had to rely on and allow Mollie to lead since she was far better at it despite it also being her first time because it relied more on skills she already had.

Our FMC Mollie is the tiny, fierce pilot of ARK 1 - or was supposed to be before her cryo pod was removed from ARK 1 and she was rescued by Cara and Gravin in book 1. Mollie is the first woman of color in the series and the smallest of the human women. Both of those attributes clearly impacted her experiences growing up on Earth and feeling the need to prove herself or act a certain way in her quest to be a space-worthy pilot. I liked that she slowly learns she doesn't have to do that around Sul and she gets to relax and enjoy life a bit while not sacrificing her determination to pilot space vessels.

I mentioned some disbelief at her being put in charge of an alien space vessel in the previous book and I have to take some of that back. For one, all she really did was sit in the pilot seat as a backup at the time, not actually fly the ship. She doesn't actually do any flying until she's better able to read and handle controls and practices a lot more on the parked shuttles in the safety of the warship hangar. Although it's still a little unbelievable, it's not nearly so bad and I can definitely let it go for the sake of the story and Mollie's badassery.

THE PETS. I haven't really mentioned it much but I've really enjoyed each of the human women ending up with a pet! That's a pattern in January Bell's Accidental Alien Brides series that I enjoyed there a lot as well but I am loving the individual pets across the board in this series so much more. They have more personality and are individual characters, not a filler background plot-convenient NPC, you know?

The kreecats are little horned cat-like aliens with a stinger in the tail tip that can form a telepathic bond with 1-2 people. Okay not so little, they're described as double the size of a normal domestic Earth cat. Maybe more Maine Coon sized on the average then?

Vree is a dog AI created by Kirel, the MMC of book 2, and has his own whole back story as well as his character development as his AI programming develops.

But this book. THIS BOOK. Mollie makes a friend that is following the pet pattern but realistically is not a pet as it's a sentient being. I don't want to give too much away but it's called a starwisp and it looks and acts exactly like it sounds. If anything, Mollie is the pet and the starwisp agrees. I loved the starwisp and hope we see more of them in the future of the series!

I'm kinda bummed I tore through the series so quickly! This book was just released on May 30th and I can't believe the next one is expected out in August already. I'm very eager to learn more about the Zaarn men Raxnor and Tark and Captain Wrin and continuing to find out what happens with ARK 1 and the Grug!

Solid-people thought!

"Wanted by the Alien Rogue" took me on an enthralling journey into the world of the Fated Mates of the Zaarn series by Krista Luna. From the very beginning, I was captivated by the story of Mollie, a determined and skilled human pilot, as she embarked on a mission to find her lost ship. Not just an ordinary ship though, this ship contains a potential new character for an upcoming book and maybe more. As a reader, I couldn't help but be swept away by Mollie's passion for flying, witnessing her fearlessly taking control of any vessel that came her way, whether it was a massive spaceship or a humble glider.

Sul, a banished Zaarn rogue had spent his twenties searching for his mate, but luck had not been on his side. Finding solace among other banished Zaarn on the Daredevil ship, Sul's life took an unexpected turn when he crossed paths with Mollie. Krista Luna expertly portrayed Sul's adoration for Mollie, capturing the profound impact she had on his world.

One of the delightful aspects of this series was the inclusion of special pets for each main character, and in this installment, Glitter stole my heart with its playful and brave nature. What kind of "pet" Glitter is a sweet surprise. Krista Luna had a knack for infusing these pets with distinct personalities, which added an extra layer of charm to the story.

There was a particularly heart-wrenching moment when Sul questioned himself whether anyone had ever chosen him for anything. However, Mollie's simple act of painting her flowers the same color as Sul's skin served as a poignant heartwarming gesture. The author masterfully portrayed Sul's deep appreciation for Mollie's smile, showcasing a tender dynamic between a hulking man and a petite woman without resorting to power imbalances.

Luna's talent for describing fantastical settings left me craving a visual feast. I wanted to step foot in Tree City and see the starwisp for myself. And don't even get me started on Sul in a Zaarn bodyguard outfit—ooof! now that's an image that'll keep me daydreaming through warp speed.

As always, Krista Luna delivered an adventure filled with thrills and excitement. The escapades in Tree City were exhilarating, with daring rescues and unexpected twists that kept me on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating the characters' next moves. Luna's skill in crafting suspenseful scenes was evident, and I found myself completely immersed in the story.

Romance permeated every aspect of the narrative, even in the most unexpected situations. The depiction of Sul and Mollie's spacewalking training, as well as Sul's scorching act of putting Mollie's underwear on his face while he play his th!ng added a touch of sizzling passion to the story. Luna's ability to infuse even the simplest actions with sensuality was truly captivating.

Sure, there were moments when the "I love you, you are mine, my fated mate. Forever" dialogue felt a tad repetitive. But hey, who am I to judge? Love makes us do strange things, like putting your mate's underwear on your face and suckling it. It's all part of the cosmic dance of romance, I suppose. BUT! Take note, I only feel like it's repetitive because my dumbass had memorised the mating vows by heart since book 1.

In "Wanted by the Alien Rogue," Krista Luna continued to deliver a captivating blend of romance, adventure, and sensuality. The well-developed characters, thrilling escapades, and engaging plot made this book an absolute must-read for fans of the Fated Mates of the Zaarn series. I was transported to a world where love knew no bounds, and excitement awaited at every turn. The introduction of new characters left a strong impression and ignited my curiosity, left me grinning with anticipation.

I knew that I was going to love this one because I’ve been dying to read Sul’s story; the big guy with the booming laugh, wide bright smile, and sweet soft heart… and secret v-card holder! 🫢 He was everything I was hoping he’d be and more & his and Mol-Lee’s love story was so dang cute.

Sul is a bit clueless, both because of his inexperience and because his brothers don’t want to “spoil any surprises” and tell him what to expect with a Hyoo-mun mate, but he makes up for it in spades with how fiercely he supports, protects, and loves Mollie. And Mollie came across as a little cold in the first books but she’s not at all in this one. She’s intelligent and talented but also anxious and unable to sit still, has doubts and fears just like the rest of us. Another strong willed STEM beauty, I really enjoyed reading her POV.

The steamy scenes are fantastic, the inevitable bonding is special, but the romance in this one just really got me. Sul’s inner thoughts are freakin precious but he knows exactly what to say to melt your heart. This quote in particular was just perfection:

“You’ve given me more in the last couple of days than I ever expected to have.” I brushed my fingers over her forehead. “If it takes a while longer to convince you to have me, I’ll keep trying.”… “I’d wait a lifetime to be able to touch you only once,” I said. “You’re worth waiting for, my lovely mate.” (Sul, 165)

The plot was really great too, I can’t wait to read what happens next!! I know the next one isn’t Tark’s book but I really hope he gets a story. 🤞 And once again the super special space pet stole the show at least a little bit! I really liked Krista’s newest companion addition. 🤐 My lips are sealed about it otherwise, you’ll just have to read it to find out what it is! ✨

Absolutely addictive and ridiculously cute! Sul is a hulking alien merc with glorious muscles and a gooey cinnamon roll heart. Mollie is a badass pilot on with nerves of steel and planet sized courage.

This combines fated mates, space hijinks, spice and the best sidekicks in the galaxy. I am loving this series ✨🛸🪐💕

Wanted by the Alien Rogue was super fun and a great addition to this story. The two main characters are super sweet together and really try to respect each other where they are. I also loved that we got a lot of movement in the overall plot of the series. I can’t wait fo see where it goes from here.

✨ARC Review! I received an early copy of this book and this is my honest review.✨

“I’d wait a lifetime to be able to touch you only once. You’re worth waiting for, my lovely mate.”

I received an ARC in exchange for a review. Wanted By The Alien Rogue is officially my favorite in the series. I don’t know how Krista does it, but these books just keep getting better and better! It gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!

This book picks up immediately after book 2 with the whole crew back on the Daredevil and focuses on Mollie (the pilot of the ARC) and Sul (pilot, spacewalker, and muscle).

After a tip as to the whereabouts of the ARK full of human women in cyro, these two go undercover to dig up clues. While on their mission, they get to kick some grug butt and make a new friend along the way. Mollie also gets the chance to fly (and not in the way you’re thinking 😉).

This mission leads to more clues and an inkling as to where the ARK is being hidden. The Abyss is the space equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle where ships go in, but nothing comes out. It’ll take the whole crew, and some new Zaarn friends, working together to rescue the ARK.

And in the midst of all the chaos, the friendship between Mollie and Sul develops into a love that’s sickly sweet 💙.

I love how these books have such a great balance of action and romance. The overarching plot of finding the women takes priority in all the books, while the romance blossoms in the background. I also love how all the women are total badasses! The lore being built up in these books is astonishing! Krista is such a talented writer and I can’t wait to see what happens next! She’s set up so many potential stories that I’m already itching for the next installment… looking at you Tark and Raxnor!

Mollie is such a great character. She’s so headstrong and she won’t take no as an answer. She might be a human in an alien world now, but nothing will stop her from being a pilot.

And sweet sweet Sul… he’s such a huge himbo ball of love. His whole life he’s been told he wasn’t smart enough or worthy enough of a mate, but yet he’s literally the perfect man 😍.

I love how both of them worked through their own insecurities together. Sul showed Mollie that he sees her as an equal and will do everything he can to support her. While Mollie showed Sul just how worthy he is and that he’s the best thing to come into her life.

I love Sul and Mollie!!! Mollie is the caring and driven human pilot and Sul is the charming, smiley space-walking expert. Definitely a dynamic duo, they bring out the best in each other and have such a cutesy relationship.

This series is so much fun. It’s sweet and spicy and full of adventure and alien pets. The Grug are still troublesome, of course, but our Zaarn rogues seem to be getting closer to gaining a foothold in the power struggle.

The pet in this one is my favorite in the series so far- Glitter is so cool! She’s a form-shifting, flying, sparkly space squirrel

I received an advanced reader copy of this book, and this is my voluntary, honest review.

“He was jealous and possessive, and it made me tingle.”

Mollie is one of our ARK 1 women that was rescued by Cara and Gravin in book 1, Claimed by the Alien Rogue. Mollie is our pilot, and often looked down upon for her short stature and lean frame. Sul is our Zaarn puppy dog, with big golden retriever energy, and he is definitely the sunshine to Gravin’s grumpy. They have to go retrieve some information about the location of ARK 1 and so begins our action. While retrieving the information, we get the other kind of action. You know what I mean.

There was a lot of screaming in my household over this book. Sul has the perfect blend of huge yet golden retriever energy and I am here for it. Mollie is a delight that loves flying, loves being a pilot, and she’s here to do a mission and check out the big blue alien that looks at her like she hung the stars. Once again we have a well developed character in Mollie, something I love to see in FMC’s, and this author never disappoints. But then we have all the high adrenaline moments, the cute as hell companion, and the steamy moments between Mollie and Sul. Add to that – seeing previous characters that we’ve already fallen in love with, and introduced to new ones that promise to be just as delightful? Insert melting emoji here cause that’s all that’s left of me.

Here’s another delightful entry into the world of the Zaarn, this time with our sweet golden retriever MMC and our adventurous pilot FMC. I feel like I’m in Thor from the first Thor movie about to slam a book down and order “Another!”

💙 “I’d wait a lifetime to be able to touch you only once. You’re worth waiting for, my lovely mate.”
~~~
Mollie is the best! She’s been dreaming of flying ever since she was a little child and I loved her determination and hard work to achieve her goals and become a top pilot who could fearlessly take control of any vessel. Even more, she’s so kind, brave and strong. I loved that tiny but feisty thing so, so much!
And there couldn’t be a more suited male for her than Sul! The Zaarn warrior is huge, strong and fiercely protective. And he’s so friendly, helpful, playful, charming and always smiling. Even more, I loved his quick and adaptive thinking and enthusiasm. Sul is such a wonderful male and I adored every single thing about this walking wall of himbo muscles!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Mollie and Sul! Since Sul met Mollie, he knew she was his fated mate but was hesitant to act because of everything that’s happened in his past. But those two fit so well together! I loved that both were so sweet, fun and adventurous and were also an amazing team. Even more, I adored Sul for always paying attention and noticing even the tiniest things about Mollie. And he was so supportive and always around and ready to help. Even more, I loved that being together allowed them to overcome all their past insecurities. And when they couldn’t resist the undeniable need for one another, the passionate moments they shared were so hot and I couldn’t get enough of all the naughty, knotty, swingy and toe-sucking delight. And I have three words for you - Zaarn bodyguard outfit. Mollie and Sul were so perfect for each other and more than deserved to find acceptance, happiness and love together.
In addition, the storyline was fantastic! The story takes us on an undercover mission to the Sjisji world in search for more information about ARK 1. And the discoveries about the ship and the Grug were mind-blowing. Even more, I might be having a little crush on Tark and, especially, Raxnor. And last, but not least - Glitter!!! I’m a sucker for awesome alien pets and the sparkly starwisp is just glorious!
Overall, the story is another marvellous addition to the series! It’s filled with adventure, danger, fun, action, suspense, twists, smoking-hot passion and spectacular characters.
I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to see what happens next!
I never thought of my feet as sexy or erogenous, but Sul sucking on my toes as he studied my every reaction was the hottest thing I'd ever seen.
This is the third book in the Fated Mates of the Zaarn series, and I just love Mollie (FMC) and Sul (MMC). I think you could understand what is going on for the most part without reading the first two, but really why would you?!
These books almost hit 300 pages each, but they don’t feel long. There is so much going on, that it is so easy to lose oneself in the story and find yourself reading multiple chapters even after you tried to call it a night. This is a plot and character driven book, which I know isn’t forever, but I would say go for it, you will not regret it. I would say mediumish on the pacing when it comes to the spicy time. So, do not expect to open the book and be hit with sexy times.
I loved how passionate Mollie was about wanting to be a pilot, and not just a pilot but a badass one. I loved how Sul fell for Mollie the moment he met her, but was kinda scared to do or say anything. Almost a little shy, very much falls into the himbo category, which I am finding I love.
Just like in the other two books, there is the overall plot of finding all the women who were on the stolen ship, and kidnapped and some sold off into slavery. So again, there is a lot going, but I never felt overwhelmed, or lost in the information.
When Sul and Mollie do finally have their intimate times together, not only are they passionate but they are cute as well.
Himbos? Check.
Awesome FMC? Check.
Fated Mates? Check
A story that will suck you in? Check
This is book 3 and i’m so swept up in this series and all the characters and there journeys that each has been through and now Sul and Mollies turn and I loved the slow burn as Sul try’s proved he was man for her with all the little things he does that make her smile or laugh. Mollie is a human that was save with Hazel by Cara and her mate Gavin who found there mates in the previous books and she wants that as well but all the males she has dated on earth tried to control her and comment on her size as a pilot and so she only had flings after that but now with all the hot alien candy around on the Daredevil has her looking but her eyes always land on Sul and the way Sul watches her she knows he feels the same way but is he different from the earth males it seems like he is with all the things he does like getting my favorite foods and drinks and making me laugh but only time will tell if it’s all real. Sul new straight away that Mollie was his Soul’s Breath as soon as he seen her but he’s not sure how to make her his and so he feels he must prove himself to her in every way he can and when she laughs at something he said or did makes his heart swell with pride. Now Sul and i are working together again on a mission to find Arc1 in the Abyss after we got intel about where it was but the evil Grug will be guarding it and it will dangerous but she must save her crew at all cost and hopefully more of the Zaarn warriors will find there mates amongst all the other human woman hopefully still in Cryo sleep onboard Arc1. And now with the mission nearly over Mollie and Sul have gotten closer together and mollie has decided she wants to be with Sul forever. How does it all turn out with danger all around them and do they find and save the crew on Arc1 or not.
This book was so fun! It had this big adventure theme and feeling that I feel like you really don’t find much anymore especially not in romance. That’s something this author is really good at, making you feel like there’s this great big universe and you get to help explore it!
There’s also some really awesome characters here. I loved how passionate Molly was about being a pilot. You could feel that she really loved what she did, she even made me want to quit my job and become a pilot lol!
Sul is just the sweetest, cuddliest, most massive alien teddy bear there ever was! I loved him so much! He was willing to do anything to please his mate but was a bit shy. He also brings some dom energy tho when appropriate! I feel like everyone describes him as a himbo, which he is some, but he isn’t dumb. I really felt for him when he mentioned that no one ever believed he would amount to anything. I guess that’s why he and Molly related so well, since she was small and one of the only female pilots, always having to prove herself.
It was spicy read but I wouldn’t have minded it to be spicier lol. It was a medium- slow burn that was built up fairly well and had time in between scenes for the story/plot. I’m giving it a 3/5 🔥!
So this was actually the first book that I’ve read in the series. I didn’t really feel lost, everything was explained I think. I maybe felt like there was some story I had missed, like with the other characters mentioned. But I kind of expected that jumping in on book 3 lol. I do think it can be read as a standalone but it’s probably best enjoyed in order. I kind of want to know the other stories, so I hope to read them soon! And I can’t wait for the next one either!
Mollie, the female human lead, is a pilot but always had to fight to be recognised by human males. She’s now determined that she won’t be set aside in this new life. Sul, the male alien lead, was told from childhood that he’d be a failure and not useful for anything other than manual labour/brute force. Having met the fated mate he’s been waiting for but not expecting, he’s determined that she’ll want him.
But they need to find the ship the other females in stasis are on and get them away from the evil other alien species that is determined to sell them as pets, which is quite a dangerous undertaking…
This story is dual POV, well written, and a gorgeous addition to the series with a male virgin lead and a female lead focused on success. I enjoyed both lead characters’ development, especially Mollie learning to have a bit of fun in her life. I enjoyed Sul’s dedication and care. I enjoyed their erotic intimate scenes. I enjoyed the secondary character integration and the depth of friendship intimacy between characters. I adored the sentient being who attached herself as a pet to Mollie and enjoyed her integration into the plot. I’m really enjoying the alien components of this species of alien and look forward to more in this series.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
4.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This whole series is absolutely a new favorite and I devoured this book. I really adore this series because it is the perfect amount of a good sci-fi adventure and romance all put together. Krista wove another fantastic story with memorable characters and excellent world-building. This is the third book in the Fated Mates of Zaarn series and focuses on Mollie and Sul’s story. Sul is one of the banished Zaarns, resigned to be alone after being unable to find his mate. Sul our handsome muscles guy never expected to find a mate, certainty not the brilliant and beautiful Mollie. Unfortunately, Sul is not a smooth talker like his buddy Kirel but he is willing to do absolutely anything for her, even squeeze into a ridiculously tiny costume when they go undercover. Mollie is the human pilot and she’s determined to find the human ship and fly the humans still aboard to safety, after all, she's the only one that can. Mollie finds herself enjoying the company of the sweet and fun Sul, he makes her feel like she's his whole world and maybe she is. When they are forced together to complete a mission she starts to realize that maybe there's more to enjoy about life than what she originally thought. What's the harm in living just a little especially when it's with a male like Sul? The dynamic between Sul and Mollie, 😘multiple scenes had my heart clenching and tears coming to my eyes. Their love story is just perfect, and the journey they go on is beautiful. I love that with each book we get to dive into a new relationship while also expanding into the world-building more. There is the perfect amount of world-building in each book to keep the story going and at the same time not overwhelm the reader. It also gives way to really explore the complexity of the chosen couple's relationship which I love. I'm really excited for the next one which I believe is Raxnor’s book. Though I will say I am really hoping to get to Captain Wrin’s book soon, what can I say I'm a sucker for a male in charge and maybe older males too! 😅😂
Krista Luna always writes the most interesting characters. And her writing style is storytelling at its best. I absolutely loved Mollie and Sul. Mollie is a strong and fearless female. Sul is the sweetest alpha male and protector. The Zaarn warriors are all so remarkable. They’re confident, honorable, courageous, and protective. Sul is no different. His character meshes perfectly with Mollie’s determined disposition. They make each other better. And their chemistry is off the charts. Krista’s smeggsy scenes are so unique and exhilarating. And their tales… ohhh their tails! This story picks up right where book 2 left off, but with a new mission into the Abyss. From there, it’s another intoxicating journey filled action, adventure, and sweet destined love. It’s the perfect mixture of suspense and alien romance. Thank you so much to the author for gifting me this phenomenal book in exchange for an honest review!
“I’d wait a lifetime to be able to touch you only once.”
Sul and Mollie are perfect together!
I love this world and I'm always giddy when the couple finds an alien companion of their own and Glitter did not disappoint on that front. The starwisp is hilarious and sweet and I adored her comments on "solid people thoughts". She just made me laugh so many times.
I love how Sul was the sweetest himbo. He was absolutely adorable and I loved seeing him fall for Mollie and understanding her from the get-go. As a short person and a woman pilot, Mollie hasn't had it the easiest and I was so happy to see that Sul was supportive and attentive, without being a dick or lording his size and strength over her. In fact, he worships the ground Mollie walks on and I am here for it.
The plot (both the romance plot for our couple as well as the overarching one) was done well and I enjoyed getting to know more about the search of ARK 1 and the women on board. I liked how it moved forward and I am curious to find out more now that most of the women have been saved. On to the next one!
I love, love, love this latest book in the Fated Mates of Zaarn series!
Mollie is a strong, confidant human pilot, who was to guide the women of Ark 1 to a new home planet. She's had three strikes against her dream of becoming a pilot, she's a woman, she's short, and she's black. It took a lot of determination and hard work to get where she is today. Sul is a Zaarn warrior who is big, strong, and protective of his fated mate. He grew up in his brother's shadow, with his family always assuming he wouldn't amount to anthing or find a mate. Mollie is determined to find the Ark 1 whick was captured by the evil Grug. And Sul is determined to help his mate accomplish this.
The story has lots of action, adventure, camaraderie, respect, love, and plenty of steam. Also a delightful starwisp pet/companion by the name of Glitter. I can't wait for the next installment!
I received an advanced reader copy of this book, and this is my honest review.
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Wanted by the Alien Rogue by Krista Luna is a sci-fi romance. It's the third book from the Fated Mates of the Zaarn series.
This one is about Sul, the big alien warrior, and Mollie, the human pilot.
They were such a great couple. Sul was very fun and playful which made it easier for him to earn his fated mate. Mollie was more guarded because of her experiences back on Earth. But once she realized that he wanted her she gave in to the temptation. Their journey to save the ARK1 was very interesting and eventful. We got to see another beautiful planet and learn more about it.
Of course, there was a new pet, a very unique if I might say. My favorite parts were the protective scenes between the two main characters and their new addition.
I enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it. I will rate it with 5 stars.
This is a such a fabulous series. I absolutely love the characters that Krista writes. There is just something about them that you can’t help but fall for. I adore these Zaarn warriors.Sul is no exception. He reminds me of a border collie to be honest. Bouncy, exuberant, pretty to look at and loyal to a fault, it is all part of his charm. For all that he is something of a blue Ken doll he is remarkably aware of Mollie, her dreams, desires and aspirations. He doesn’t make fun of her at all and does everything that he can to make things easier for her. He knows that she is his mate but not at the expense of her happiness. If Mollie could fly in her sleep I bet that she would. It is her happy place. She might be small but she is mighty. I love how she slowly gets to see that there is more to Sul than at first sight. These two are such a great fit.
Entertaining Zaarn Romance!!
Molly (Mol Lee) is a top pilot, but is grounded while they attempt to locate the ARC 1 which is where the other human women are still in cryo sleep. Sul is taking care of her – as she is his fated mate. Molly has no idea.
Multiple other human / Zaarn duos have successfully become couples. The other Zaarn tease Sul about Kizzing and other items to look forward to. A quest to get information about the ARC 1 is an mission for Molly and Sul. They dress to hide their identities, find a cohort in a starwisp, and explore a new planet.
They find what may be the Grug’s “kryptonite”, and consolidate their relationship.
The unique pets, language barriers, cultural differences, and building of this world make for very entertaining reading.
Sul!! Oh my gosh! He is the total package! Sweet, funny, protective, creative, loving, patient…etc. I could go on and on! Mollie hit the jackpot with Sul! These two characters are a joy to read about. The world building keeps introducing us to new aspects of the different species and customs, and they are so inspired! I love how these characters were allowed to develop over the first two books in the series, so by now, they are like good friends we finally get to spend time with. Glitter is so much fun! Love her personality! I love that we get to know more about Raxnor and Tark, too! They are as much fun as Gravin, Kirel, and Sul, so I can’t wait for their books! I want to know more about Captain Wrin, too! This book has an amazing progression of the ongoing storyline as well as that HEA. I am so in love with this world and characters!
