Great story with realistic choices made by well-developed characters, and a very mysterious set of questions in the final chapter making it so I can’t wait for the follow-up book!
I thought the story was a bit awkward and forced at times but I would still be interested in seeing how the story ends - this book ended on a cliffhanger. I hope in the next story that the author further develops the Bridget character.
I did read the whole thing, but it was hard. The story just seemed so preposterous to me that it wasn’t at all sexy.
I’ll probably look at the next chapter of the story, but I’m not optimistic. You can sort of see where it might be going by the last interaction between the two of them. It’s intriguing to wonder, so I’ll read it to find out. I just hope it is
Typical reluctant forced femme story ... except not so forced, lacking most of the usual cliches, and having a protagonist who seems involved in his decisions. This story is better written and more plausibly developed than 90-odd percent of stories in this genre. It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, but not because it's an oh-too-short excerpt from a fuller story: it's a good absorbing length, but there's more in the pupeline
