Tiberius : A Standalone Bear Shifter Biker Romance

Tiberius
Witches aren’t just a threat to the Brotherhood; they’re a threat to all shifters.
So how the hell did I get mixed up with one?

It’s a spell. It has to be. She’s a witch after all. They have the power to manipulate nature and all things in it, including animals - like me. They cast spells on defenseless creatures, controlling them into doing their bidding.

They do so with no remorse, no regards for the lives they’re playing around with. Even the strongest shifters are powerless against the terrifying ability witches possess. They’re cruel, knobby-fingered, cackling malevolent beings that take what they want. Or so I thought, until I met Aspen.

I tried resisting her but it’s impossible. She’s sweet like sugar, an alluring seductress and I’m quickly wrapped around her soft, delicate fingers.

When it comes to Aspen, I lose all control. Which isn’t like me at all. So it must be a spell, right? One that I need to break free of.

With Fang and Tobias lurking in the shadows, adding a witch into the mix was the last thing the Brotherhood needed. My only option- figure out how to keep my two worlds from colliding while I figure out what to do about Aspen.

Aspen
Some want to be feared, but I don’t. The last thing I want to do is hurt anyone. How do I get him to see that?

I’ve been cursed with a gift that I’m proud of. I don’t know who I’d be without it and I wouldn’t want to be any other way. I love who I am even if some assume the worst from me.

I thought Tiberius would be no different. That he’d run for the hills like the rest. But to my surprise - he came back. He gave me another chance, which never happens.

I think he knows we’re great together, but the fact that I’m a witch still puts him off. He’s having trouble believing me when I say not all witches are bad. I don’t want him to be scared of me.

I’m just going to have to show him that I only want to have fun with him and make him feel good. And I don’t need magic to do any of that.

Tiberius is a full length standalone and the final installment in the Blood Brotherhood series. If you like sexy bear shifters who will do anything to protect their mates, strong heroines, motorcycle clubs, and a small town with plenty of heat, you’ll love this series!

Tiberius: Bear Shifter is a surprisingly interesting read with a very refreshing take on witches. I loved reading about Aspen’s craft and her connection to magic, and I wish we could get more of that in the novel. Aspen is very interesting and the magic system alone could carry this or another series.

Tiberius was interesting as well. I’m glad his will-he-won’t-he moment was rational. He wasn’t wishy washy and always treated Aspen well despite his inner conflict. I liked him a lot as a love interest. Also very interesting to get a POV from his inner bear! I have never gotten that in a shifter story.

Accidentally, I read this book first in the Blood Brothers series as I received it as a Hidden Gems ARC. I will definitely need to go back to read prior books, and hopefully I haven’t spoiled them too much with this one. The novels are meant to be standalone, which is fabulous.

Overall,
4/5 ⭐️ storyline
3.5/5 🌶️ content (somewhat graphic and definitely there but is not part of the plot nor is it very graphic; spice was well written and good quality!)

I am loving these Bear shifters! Tiberius is a leery of witches – all he knows is that witches are evil and only do bad. Pretty much everyone in the Blood Brotherhood believes the same thing. Aspen is a witch – she is sweet, caring and has helped Roxy, Gunnar, Blade and Jade. Aspen has been attracted to Tiberius ever since she saw him fighting in the ring. When Tiberius gets a whiff of Aspen, he is determined to talk to her. Things are looking good, then Tiberius figures out she is a witch, but Aspen has captured him with her goodness. Having a good time together and keeping things a secret, Fang and Tobias show up to request Aspen’s help. Of course, Aspen turns them away, but is that enough?

Buckle up as Fang and Tobias stir up trouble, Tiberius misunderstands Aspen’s magic and the passion between them is hot! Great ending to this series, and I am a little sad to see it end! I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I received a free copy of this book via Hidden Gems ARC’s and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Tiberius is drawn to Aspen who is a witch, but the brotherhood has nothing to do with them because they think that witches manipulate and outs you under their spell. When these two connect sparks ignite but Tiberius tries to ignore the feelings, but he comes back. Will their relationship become something more that leads them to happiness. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
