I love Hallmark movies so it’s really no surprise that I enjoyed this book- it gave me all the Hallmark feels plus spice. The spice was wonderful! While being spicy, The Write Knight was also cozy. There were no lines that made me cringe – I always appreciate finding books that do not make me cringe or feel second hand embarrassment.
Right from the first interaction between Lizzie and Miles, I knew I was in for the ride of my life. I loved every second of it- I could feel their tension right from their first meeting and their shared love of literature and coffee.
I received this copy as an ARC, and I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID- I enjoyed every single second, and it is so hard to believe that this is L.B. Martin’s first book- I cannot wait to read more of this series!
I would give this book all the stars in the world!

While I did feel the timeline was a little unrealistic and the amount of times “baby” or “babe” was used made me cringe at times I still thoroughly enjoyed reading. The ending had me in tears. I can’t wait to read Sebastian story in the next book!

If you want to feel wrapped up in a fairytale this is the book for you. It’s a mixture of a hallmark movie and fifty shades without the BDSM. Although there is some spicy scenes 🌶️🌶️. Love at first sight, girl swooped off her feet and treated like a princess by a rich sexy man! I mean isn’t that the fairytale ? Miss independent I need no one meet Mr. Sexy protective let me treat you right. The only reason I gave it a 4 because sometimes it was too predictable and needed more climax and not the sexy bed climax.
If you looking to read a perfect holiday hallmark story, this is the one for you. Cuddle up with some pumpkin spice coffee and enjoy the ride and let your imagination be driven by the characters. We all love a good "He Fell First" story and this one is no exception! Miles and Lizzie complement each other so well. Their "meet cute" was so sweet! I loved the literary references and how it was an immediate connection for them! The story was fun and sweet without being predictable. Miles is the gentleman we all dream of but has the filthiest mouth we all want in a MMC. Lizzie gives him the perfect balance to really bring out both sides of him! She is determined to reach her dreams and won't let a man stand in her way anymore. Miles only gives her the support she needs to reach that dream without stifling her. It's a wonderful love story with the best balance of spice.

I loved The Write Knight! My favorite thing about it was how well it was written. I felt like everything flowed really well which I appreciate in books. I especially loved Lizzie and Miles! I liked their jobs and back stories. They felt more realistic and relatable than in other spicy reads. Romance reads with alpha billionaire tropes have become one of my favorites and Miles definitely does not disappoint! So if you like soulmate/ love at first meeting and spicy scenes then this is the book for you!

I really love this book, and I'm so excited there are 3 more books! I can't wait to read them all!
I highly recommend adding this to your TBR. This book does cover some sensitive subject matters so please read trigger warnings if they may effect you. The author did a fantastic job writing the story, there are characters that you will fall in love with and a few you will hate. I think even though this is fiction there are real life elements that make it relatable to some readers. I really can't say enough great things about this book.

Felt like a Hallmark Movie
If you are looking for a cozy read that makes you believe in “love-at-first-sight” or “happily ever after”, then look no more because this is it. Once I picked this up, I just couldn’t put it down. There were definite tears shed but in all the best ways. This story was so beautifully written that it made me feel like I was experiencing a Hallmark movie.

Absolutely loved this book. The spice, the love, the background on Lizzy and so much more made the story come together. It was written in a way where you can picture the movie in your head, and those are the kind of books I love reading! Tears will be shed as well, but once you start reading this book, you will not want to put it down. Between the Miles being the perfect mix of a book boyfriend, along with Lizzy and Sarah’s friendship, it just makes it something to read while being cozy.

I loved this book. I like how the author dove into the background of Lizzie. It made her so much more relatable. Miles was the book boyfriend everyone wants! 🖤 he was sweet but Alpha when he needed to be. The spicy was *chefs kiss*

Loved L. B. Martin’s writing style. I was shocked to find out this was a debut novel. Miles and Lizzie were the perfect couple. I loved the drama and adventure sprinkled in. Miles’ alpha possessive side was hot! I want him! I can’t wait to read the next book in the series! Sebastian’s book will be awesome!

I loved this book so much. Lizzie character was so relatable, giving insight on what it can feel like coming from a "broken home" and how that can affect your outlook on life. And Miles. Oh my my. I love that man. He's perfect, he really did let his action speak louder than his words and I truly believe he loves her with every ounce of his soul. I loved reading their love story and cant wait to see how his brothers unfolds.

If you are looking for light and fluffy this book is for you! It is the epitome of love at first sight. It is just a happy book that will make you feel good, through most of the book I had a smile on my face about how cute the main characters are. I must say the ending was my favorite part of the book and gave me all the feels.

Miles and Lizzie! I love how Miles accepts Lizzie, for who she is and her past. I love that he helps her heal from her childhood trauma of her parent’s divorce and from her string of bad relationships. Showing her she can trust him no matter what.

Absolutely love! Ugh Miles is the perfect compassionate boyfriend. The way he was able to help Lizzie overcome her obstacles was amazing. He pushed her to be her best self but never fully just resolved everything the way he wanted. They are literally each other’s half and it filled my heart that there was no 3rd act break up

Lizzie and Miles🥰🥰 First of all Miles was such a sweetie and he is a man who knows what he wants😉, love that. Lizzie is so relatable because of her past experiences/trauma. Despite that it is definitely a cozy read and had me smiling. Also the spice was 🥵😮💨. The only thing that kinda erked me was it felt like some things were over explained but not to the point where it was unbearable. I’m excited for the next in the series!

When reading this book I found it incredible that this was a debut novel. The writing and development of Lizzie was amazing. I love when you can really learn all about a character/back story to really connect to them. This was SPOT on for this novel. The spice was just right for this book!
Insta-love stories typically aren't my favorite but honestly this was so well done that I couldn't help but be sucked in and taken by this from the very beginning. Once I finished this book I instantly wanted more from this author.

I literally have no words on how to express how much I loved this story. I have cried, laughed and swooned.
The author truly made a masterpiece with this insta-love/soulmate love story!
Miles is just everything a woman wants. Elizabeth is this amazing string woman who went through a devastating divorce (her parents) at a young age. Due to that divorce she became a magnet to horrible men and decided to go on a man-ban.
I’m a sucker for soulmate/insta-love stories and this one was just perfect.🥰🥰
Loved the bestie dynamic that Sarah and Elizabeth had and how Sarah was always there for her.
I feel for Elizabeth and her relationship with her father because I also went through a similar situation and it just resonated with me.

I absolutely love any and all “soulmate” connections. I love when writers show us a couple who hopes or experiences love that is fated to be. But I also love when writers show us that love is not just an emotion, but a choice we make daily, an action to show someone else. It’s pure and bright. We get to see all this and more in this story, along with the importance of honesty and forgiveness. It’s a beautiful story.

Where do I start? First, character development was too notch. That’s important in a plot to me. Second the spicy scenes where Hot hot hot but sprinkled in and not overly done. There weren’t any cringy words and phrases that we ALL have read, right? 🤢 Third, guys this was the author’s first book. Like what??!! How is that even possible?!? I was immersed from page 1 and crying by the end. I didn’t want to put it down but I’m glad there will be another in the series with the brother. I hope to see more of Lizzie and Miles. Oh Miles, he was 🥵. I need one in my life. Like now! Anyways, read this! Now!

So this was actually good. It was a lot of long bits of dialogue but the duo pov was wonderful. He falls first and HARD. This really made me realize how much I lack in the father department and I often found myself relating to Lizzie. If Sarah and Seb don’t get together I’m suing everyone. I only cried in the parts about her dad cause erm it made me sad. This took me forever to get through though. I think cause of the massive amounts of dialogue. Much love to the author!!!💕
