Welcome to Twin Oaks--the new B and B in Cooper's Corner. Some come for the pleasure, others for the passion--and one to set things straight.
The charming village of Cooper's Corner and its colorful locals have captivated readers for almost a year and this title is sure to enjoy a large reading audience as fans tune into the exciting conclusion. When Chance Maguire receives the unexpected news that he's fathered twin girls--and that they've been kidnapped--he instantly rushes to Twin Oaks. There, he finds his ex-wife, Maureen Cooper, frantic. During the search for their daughters, will they also find each other?
This was the best book in the Cooper's Corner series. Being the last book in the series, it did a very good job of wrapping up loose ends. There is a kidnapping, a family reunited, , a murder attempt, and many exciting scenes. For a series where each book had a different author, it was really cohesive and well done.
I want to thank Bobby Hutchinson, author and a Harlequin Series Givaway that I won a paper back copy of Far from Over ~ Cooper's Corner ~ Book 12 that I won in the Giveaway.
Cooper's Corner is a small village started by a long ago Cooper in the early 1800's when Maureen and her brother gained possession of the family's home in Cooper's Corner. They pooled their resources, moved and turned the grand old house into a B&B.
Moureen a former NYPD officer has four year old twin girls, loves her new life as an innkeeper in the small peaceful town.
Several strange and dangerous incidents have been happening when the twins are kidnapped, her ex-husband returns, the town pulls together and good things happen to bring this tale to happy ending. I loved the side stories of the father that found he had a child, now an adult and how it changed his life for the better and how a young brother and sister were given a second chance away from thier abusive past. This is a book I couldn't put down until I found out what happened next in a lovely setting.
