This is a good read about the former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu K. Kamaraj. It vividly tells the type of person that he was, that propelled him to great political heights in Independent India. Though the author's narration is not a very compelling one, the great leader Kamaraj and his deeds and chronology of his life events from the book, gives a great outlook into the Gandhian and Nehruvian India. The book really makes me understand why he is fondly called as "Karma Veerar Kamaraj". An uncompromising, hardworking giant of politics!

This biography about kamaraj is good read for anyone who thinks or worries about the Indian constitutional system.Kamraj s ways to overcome poverty , economic disparity are the best ways even not followed in these days.Kamraj renowned for his elegance, simplicity worked most of his days on rural areas and was very keen on providing free education to everyone.Inspired many people of his peculiar ways to survivc in politics despite being good to everyone.He remained as a Gandhiji hardcore follower of his ways.It was a good read to know the history of our Indian times.
