Rate this book
When Nadine Aburdene, the princess of Osnar, was born, she was already cursed. "The Curse" - a title given to her by her kingdom that was cursed a century ago. The royal family always gives birth to twins - the first born, "The Ruler"; the second, "The Curse". She drew the short straw, and her brother William was born first.

Secluded from her kingdom and all who inhabit it, Nadine's only hope is to find a man who is unafraid to die, and she only has a few months left. Nadine's 18th birthday is near. Her life is on the line if she doesn't break The Curse by then. Between an overprotective brother, a hateful father, a kind prince, and a silver-eyed stranger, she must ask herself, "Can anyone truly love without conditions?"

The whole concept of this story was great. I loved the plot and characters. It is extremely well written, and the story starts right away. You will be hooked from chapter 1 and stay hooked. There is great descriptive writing and twists that will make you so invested and dying for the sequel! Fantastic dialogue and this book also has diverse culture and LGBTQ representation. Read it, You won't be disappointed!

This main character was the most female rage, inspirational character anyone young girl should look for in a main character. Rage, games of thrones vibes, action, a little romance, and a whole lot of political Intrigue I really enjoyed this!
