I can hear the wolf howl, every sunset. Moving in the shadows, who feels love, who spreads lies. What good is magic if it can’t protect you?I can still hear the Herald of the Giants condemning me, bringing shame on me, and on my family. Then to help a friend, I threaten the Fairy Queen.Through it all, I show up at work every day, paint my face, and dance against the night. It may not defeat the beast, but it raises the spirits of the community. It is stalking us, hungry for blood. We have to find a way to stop it before it kills us all.

This was a sweet story, with a couple of tense scenes. A few friends, who are drag queens open a local bar/theater. There's some adventure, some scary monsters, some great entertaining scenes, some self-inspection and growth. I hope to read more of their next story.
So I read this due to my interest in the story line. Gay's, Drag queen's and Magic what isn't to love. Then there is the author who I personally know and have fallen in love with. He is one of those people who keeps the stories coming and knows how to hold an audience. His book is equal to his story telling abilities. I am looking forward to whatever I read next from him but I really loved his characters. Especailly the main one who is going through a transitional period of life as I am. Needless to say if you like sci-fi and not afraid of a little glitter that I feel should pop out of the book when you read it than this is the book for you :)
