The suspected secret space program of the hypothetical breakaway civilizations did not emerge from World War 2 Nazi 'Wonder Weapon' technology, nor from the postwar military-industrial complex or the reverse engineering of a crashed ET saucer. This look at the 19th Century airship mysteries reveals a new perspective on the topic and may change your perspective on history.
I really wanted to like this book, as I find the stories and newspaper reports of the mysterious American Airships fascinating. After all, these ships appeared in the skies years before humans had supposedly invented air travel!
Unfortunately, I found this book a drag to read. The author has clearly put a lot of effort into his research of the organisations and societies who may have been responsible for these flying wonders, but I found the style of writing to be haphazard, a little too informal, and far too speculative.
Conversely, I heard the author being interviewed on a podcast about the airship topic, and his enthusiasm shows through. So, this book isn’t for me, but the authors work on the topic is impressive.
