I really liked this! When it was over I was sad because I wanted to continue on with the characters and see how their next chapters played out. I picked this up from a stall in the basement of a flea market, I enjoyed reading the storylines of what was apparently really progressive for women in the 80s that women now are still dealing with. Each storyline was engaging and had some surprises. The relationships between the 3 women also felt so real.
Sorry to be blunt but this was a disaster of a book. First of all no copy editor ever saw this book or touched it. Drove me nuts. It’s starts slow and goes nowhere. And the ending is singularly the worst ending ever. I kept trying to turn the page but there was no more pages. It just stopped. Did the author drop dead? Tis a mystery.
