Fantastic series all in one place so you don't have to hunt for the next one. Wonderful magic in a complex setting, real world problems mixed with folklore and of course magic, and common sense. Set in a mountain community, with all of the small town drama, and prejudices that are truly found everywhere. Mama B is just what is needed by one then four teens, as they are what she needs. She gives them direction, jobs and lessons as well as affection, they give her students, helpers and hope. Read and enjoyment Laugh and cry
I fell in love with all of these characters very early in the series. It was an amazing adventure with laughs, I love Val and all of his quips a bout not being magical but he was a bad bat singer when needed. I hated Winslow and Madeline and was so happy they got the justice they deserved. As Always, I am sad to see this series end. I am hoping they will return at some point. I have to see what is in store for Natalie and the rest of KCC. Thanks again.
I always wonder why, when contentious people are stirring up trouble with their lies and hatred, the magical characters don't just take away their voice and make it impossible for them to say the things they do. Heck, I wish someone would just shut Trump up! Anyway, this series is interesting, the characters are realistic, and the story line is one that could easily be seen in our own world, without the magical elements.
Michael Anderle does not disappoint. He is a consummate storyteller. From the opening pages, you are pulled into the mountains where creatures of myth and Cherojee legend still roam. You are rooting for the witches first learning the Art. By the last book, you are as invested in the plight of poor mountain children as you are with the lives of the First Walkers. I couldn't put these books down once I started reading. Michael, you've done it again! Kudos
Wonderful, enjoyable and absolutely entertaining series!!!!!
Congratulations to Michael Anderle for another amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next series.
The author really packed this series with a credible story that follows through to the end. It is a series set for teens to young adults. There are hugh mountains, adventure, evil, mystical creatures, witches and regular working people all in a small town with everyday problems. I enjoyed this series and I believe you will too.
The story is decent but needs editing to fix grammar and strange sentancing and remove redundancies. Character motivations are not always believable. The story is overly explained. There is no mystery.
You are a very talented writer. I am so sorry that I will have to miss any more of your books because of such bad language. I pray God has mercy on your soul.
