Her debut book, She Walks, She Leads, published by Penguin Random House India in August 2016 is an authorized anthology of twenty-four iconic and trailblazing Indian women such as Sudha Murty, Priyanka Chopra, Anamika Khanna and Nita Ambani. The book won Gunjan much acclaim both for its concept, and for the incredible detail and intelligence with which she researched and presented their journeys. A prolific writer, she is working on both non-fiction and fiction books, which are scheduled for 2019 and 2020.
A graduate of economics and finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (USA), Gunjan also has a master’s degree in wealth management from the Cass Business School, City University (UK). She is also an authority on image management, international etiquette and protocol, and a Master Practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming.
In May 2017, Gunjan was felicitated with the WEF 2017 Award for "Women of the Decade in Community Leadership” for her inspirational journey and work on She Walks, She Leads. She has also been honoured with the ‘Award De Excellencia’ at the Women Excellence Awards by World Peace & Diplomacy Organisation (WPDO) in 2017 and the WCRC Leaders Asia’s Pride For Women 2016, Author of the Year in 2016. She has been facilitated with an honorary doctorate.
