Book 1 was so good that I immediately started book 2. Only to be be disappointed. The writing style and story was not as captivating - I suppose there is only so much story arc one can adapt from video games before it starts feeling long winded.
The first book was great...a realistic view of a possible future... the second went too a little too far away from reality and was more like reading a video game without the on-screen visuals.
