Cassidy is a P.I. and tries to help out in supernatural cases since she is a shifter, although she is the only one in the family who cant actually shift. When her friend asks her to help with an odd case she discovers some odd deaths and what she thinks are some strong rituals to change people. Helping out is detective Patrick Logan and his partner. People know about shifters, but Cassidy doesnt really let them in on the fact that she cant fully shift and that there might be more to this case than meets the eye. The killer seems to have a deep connection to cassidy, one that goes from desire to murderous intent. With the help of the detectives and her mother, a prophet of sorts amongst wolves, she gets lead on a chase by a seemingly bad wolf.
Kind of an odd ending, although I did like her whole guardian angel thing and her changes as well. Didnt really like the romance kind of thrown is as an afterthought, either have it or dont.
