Really good looking recipes, great guides to sprouting, blending, juicing, etc, and decent information about why raw food is good for you, what the different categories of food are, etc. However, the writing is SO OBNOXIOUS. I'd like to live a healthy lifestyle without reappropriating the yinyang and without pseudo spiritualism ("This food's element is Fire, because it is energizing." "Food made with anger is will never help your body."). Just give me the facts, please. Also, on a personal level it was not the most helpful of books because it relied a lot on coconut, soy-based foods, and what-based sprouts, and I can't eat any of those things. I probably should have spent a little more time finding a thicker, more scientific raw foods book, but I had to pee.
Eating raw foods is a lifestyle that seems a tad easier today then a few years ago. There are several recipes that I've seen and used before with many others that I plan to try. The idea of spouting and dehydrating to make breads seems rather complicated but after I get my new 'raw tools' I will be trying those.
