One moment. One horrible moment. That’s all it took to rip my life apart. The scene in my apartment, when they showed up, didn’t help matters.
Now my life is in shambles. My sister is gone. Memories of that night start to flash in my brain after performing for a group of men I had no business performing for.
The guys in my life are fighting for me. But I keep pushing them away. It’s best that way.
But when secrets are revealed. Secrets that will forever affect my life. And the boy who broke my heart begs for forgiveness… What do I do?
Fight. Fight for me. Fight for my sister. Fight for answers. I’m a survivor and no longer will I be a victim.
I'm so glad that Sierra didn't forgive Wesley!!! 👏🏾 That little shit thought he'd be forgiven??? He expected her to forgive him after he bullied her for years?!
Cyrus, Zaden, Colton and Braxton were perfect!!! The ending was rushed but I kinda enjoyed the rest of the book!! 😬
If you're looking for plot, this won't be for you🙂✨.
Did I actually read the same book as everyone else!
Honestly this book was hard to read! It was annoying as all hell!
Let’s start shall we.
First off!
The uncle reveal. He let her strip in his club knowing she was his niece! Like hell no! Ewwww! Waitress yes! Work the floor yes pay her well yes. Strip why! Just why!!!!! Just no!!!!
Supposed to be a RH but she practically ignored the other 3 for almost 1/2 the book because she could t be bothered to talk to them! Like deal with your shit and talk! I just couldn’t with that. She had a clear favourite in the harem and that isn’t how a rh is supposed to work!
Wesley! How did he not understand she was raped. He picked her up carried her to the car she was covered in blood and didn’t once think to talk to her! Bloody stupidity! Honestly sloppy writing. I’m sorry but no! I’m sorry just no!
Then let’s go to the point she’s determined to get custody of her sister. She’s a teenage stripper with no prospects in what world is that ever going to happen! Like ever!!!!!!!! Eh she annoyed me.
Don’t even get me started on the fact that the sister was supposed to be 10 but was written a lot younger! I just can’t. I was so looking forward to this book but it was ruined!
The book was written like a teenage diary. It was awful. I wanted it to be good but she was just so stupid! And stubborn and stupid! I wanted to slap the character and make her make sense. She didn’t get intimate with the other harem members till the last 3 chapters of the book and it was very much an after thought. She had her favourite and that was Cyrus!
She didn’t want to go to college because she wanted her sister. She was selfish to the point she wanted to deprive her sister of a life she couldn’t give her. Just because she wanted her back. And instead of clearing everything up but talking to cps about the abuse she suffered she refused. I’m sorry but nope sorry tapped out. I’m done. This book made me angry and because of my stupid ocd I had to finish it. Ugh!

Great Ending! I first want to say that I was quite satisfied with the ending! Sierra, finally gets an ending she deserves.
Truths are revealed, some find redemption, questions are answered, and some doors are closed. Filled with spice, lots of feelings, family and just a bit of suspense.
Sierra grows the most in this story. She takes back her freedom and confidence, with the help of some very supportive men. I liked each of the guys, but Cyrus will forever be my favorite. His constant love and support for her, made me so happy.
I will also say, there was a certain character that I wasn't sure if he would be apart of her harem... Well, I can honestly say I was happy with how things played out.
I think the author did a great job wrapping things up and giving Sierra and her guys a happy ending! I do hope we get more from them again.
I'm DNFing at Ch 34 and I'm convinced the book was rushed through like a draft. There are so many inconsistencies from the first book and TW there's on-page rape in chapter 33. -Book 1 Sierra has zero interest in college, basically resigning herself to having to work to support her sister. Now she wants to get a scholarship to the local community college. -Book 1 2 of the brothers have already discussed a poly relationship, based on shared romance book preferences, and are in agreement that they are both in. Book 2, Cyrus mentions it and they are shocked. -Book 1 Sierra has PTSD flashbacks over men just being too close to her, people touching her by surprise. Book 2 she's bouncing on Cyrus' dick with absolutely zero issues, mentally or physically. They love each other after 1 week. She develops a "wet spot through her jeans" after one kiss on the couch. -Book 1 Wes has this thumb drive that he was so determined to steal from his dad's office and watch, and Book 2 it's been over a week and he hasn't. He's arranged covert spy missions at the strip club but not opening the thumb drive. ?? -BIG deal about needing condoms, only the bare back it like 2 days later. Also for Book 1 to have zero steam, Sierra and Cyrus go at it like rabbits. I'm a little over it.
idk Book 1 we spent SO MUCH time on Sierra and her worries for her sister and keeping the two of them together, but she's doing like nothing to prove her innocent in the abuse charges. Even the social worker told her that just being honest and telling them who beat her up would help move things along faster, yet Sierra continues to defend her shitty aunt's random boyfriend of the week? WHY?! There's no benefit!
There were a lot of things in Book 1 that were frustratingly unrealistic, but you could pretend to not realize with all the delulu logic that Sierra had about not losing her sister. All of that is out the window at this point - like live would be so much better for all parties if you just told someone that your aunt was an abusive piece of shit.
I'm so over Wesley. He's a cartoon villain. Heinously evil for no reason, very misogynistic. Too self-centered. Bullies and harasses Sierra for YEARS. This was not your typical academia bully trope; he's truly an asshole in so many ways. He can never, ever be redeemable in my eyes. The Wes plot was the only thing keeping me going and curious, but I know I won't be satisfied with any amount of groveling so I'm out.
This book gave me trust issues. Do not commit, if you cannot deliver. So disappointed, as I LOVED book one and I can’t believe this book was written by the same author. My therapist will be hearing about this abomination of a novel. Ps. Wesley was never meant to be in the Harem? WTF !! Absolute nonsense.

I couldn’t have imagined a better ending for Sierra. I literally finished this book in 4hrs and could not stop reading. This book put me through a roller coaster of emotions. When Sierra cried, I cried. When Sierra laughed? Me too. When Sierra was building connections when her guys? I was definitely rooting for her (especially Cyrus)! I did end up eventually loving all her guys tho. And don’t even get me started on the second-hand anger I felt for so many characters, some rightly so and some redeemable. Although, this book does a great job of showing that you don’t always get a redemption ark and not every happy ending looks the same for each person. Sierra grew so much in this book not only in self-confidence but in her blossoming relationships, while still holding true to her strongest relationships with Sam.
Bre Rose knows how to write a story and I cannot wait for what comes next!
I was so excited to finish Sierra’s story and see what life had in store for her. She has not had an easy life and I love the way she takes care of her younger sister and how it doesn’t matter what she has to do to provide for them she will do it, it’s a fantastic sisterly bond. I absolutely loved Cyrus and how he never tried to shut the other guys out and was prepared to do whatever it took to be with Sierra even if it meant sharing her. Zander and Braxton are sweethearts and I loved how caring they were towards Sierra and weren’t afraid to let her know how they felt. Colton was a tough one for me as he hadn’t treated her well in the 1st book but I was so glad he redeemed himself and show her his true self. When they all finally came together to make it work it was perfection and I loved every minute of this book I couldn’t put it down. I was sorry to say goodbye to them and I hope we get more in the future.
This is the stunning conclusion to Sierra’s story and I was thrown for a loop! Just when you think you had it, Ms Rose throws a wrench into your thinking and goes, hey, so here’s where this road is gonna take you! I read on, thinking the villain will be redeemable. I read on, hoping against hope that a certain brother will get his act together and realize that Sierra is the best thing to ever happen to him. I read on, wondering what will happen next. And next thing I know it’s 3:00 am and I should be sleeping because I still have to go to work. And yes I did clock in for my shift with bags under my eyes and a large cup of coffee from my local Dutch Bros.
And I’m so sad to be leaving Sierra and her guys. Her harem of guys are absolutely breathtaking. Btw, I still lay claim on Cyrus.
I don't think I have ever read an ending like that before in an RH bully romance, but I have to tell you, I love the way things played out. I also liked how Sierra is one of those girls who understand that crappy people deserve what they get and that she doesn't feel bad about it. I highly recommend giving this one a read! Can say Zan and Cyrus are my favs 💯! I'm hoping for an extra epilogue or something about how a certain person is feeling afterward. 🤞 was glad to see we may see more of them in the future!
This was such a great conclusion to Sierra’s story. I love how it truly showed Sierra’s strength after everything she’s been through. It also showed how not everyone gets the redemption they might want, and that’s perfect to me because real life isn’t always a happy ending for everyone. There are consequences to your actions and you won’t always be forgiven for it. Sierra and Sam’s relationship is also so precious - I loved being able to read about their sister moments. I can’t wait to read what this author comes up with next!
This book was a wonderful finish . I am glad that the Mc got with the guys she did. I also love how she takes all that's been shoved at her and finally stands up .
The writing was not the best. The plot was good but not well written so it was all over the place! But thank for you not letting Wes get his second chance because he was just CRUEL to her it was getting hard to read.

A lot of answers given in this book and resolved the mystery of who SA/R the h (ex-bff's dad, who also filmed it and was about to offer up h to others to SA/R).
The ex-bff tries to come back and grovel, but h will not have it (THANK YOU author for not having the h forgive him!! He did NOT deserve it and he did not get it).
The first book was great. I love bully RH. But this was just a severe bully and abuse throughout the whole book. The spice was a 1/5. There wasn’t any romance whatsoever. Her first love was the worst storyline ever. She had one boyfriend who she loved and the other three were additional crushes. There was no progression in her relationships with the other three guys. Everything was rushed at the end of the book. This was not RH. This had potential to be something really good, but fell flat. Waste of time.
Such a great 2nd book! I could not put it down. My family even caught me sobing into my coffee while reading. The events, actions, and tension were written perfectly. I absolutely loved this series. This book did not disappointed, with plenty of morally grey actions and vengeance played out. Highly recommend. Please read trigger warnings.
Wow that ending isn’t what I expected. I’m happy that Sierra got her happy ending and Colton became one of my favorites. This author did a great job with the ending and threw in some loops.
This book certainly blew my expectations out of the water in such a good way that I am left speechless at the end.
There were so many twists and turns to this story that I was left gasping and holding my breath more than once. This story picks up right where the first book in the duet ends and let me tell you, right from the beginning Bre rips your heart out- like completely and painfully, stomps on it so it bleeds and then spends the rest of the story trying to put it back together again. There are so many easter eggs so to say in the first book that get revealed in this story that make me seriously question just how well I paid attention while getting sucked into the wonderful story that was created here.
What really surprised me about this book was that while Sierra has a harem here and all of the guys are aware of what may happen and that there may be times where they are all together focusing on their girl, you never see the full harem together with Sierra in any provocative situations. Yes, they all come together and you get to see how they experiment with her as they grow their relationships (especially Cyrus- I literally have decided that man is my new book boyfriend after reading about him and Sierra) but there is never a moment where the harem is all in bed together and it was a nice, refreshing pace and something totally different from all of the other RH stories out there on the market.
I will say the moments that I loved in this story were the ones that showcased Sierra's strength, especially when faced with some of the worst moments of her life. There were moments where she could have given up and stopped fighting for everything but she knew what that meant and the fear of what could happen to her took a backseat to anything else, especially when it came to her sister. There is not a moment in this story where you don't feel the love that she has for Sam and that love is enough to power her determination to not let what the kids at school do to her keep her from going back and achieving the goal she has set out for herself to keep her sister with her.
I also really loved how Wesley didn't get the traditional villain gets the girl forgiveness in the end. He was extremely nasty to her in this duet and there were moments where you could almost see how that hatred and disgust towards her could have morphed into something extremely bad and disgusting and I loved that while Sierra was willing to move on from what had happened, she was not willing to forgive easily or let him back into her life. It will be interesting to see if there is any sort of continuation to Sierra's story and to see just what has happened to him since their last big conversation. I would also like to see Rico get his own story or set of stories. He certainly was an interesting character and something tells me he has so many tales to tell and there is a love out there he had to let go of. Only time will tell...
I am so sad this duet is over. It was so wonderfully crafted and I loved every minute from start to finish (I devoured both books in the matter of like 4 days so that says something there). I can't wait to see if more comes from this world and we get to see more of this harem and all of the supporting characters as well.
This book had so many issues for me. I was able to overlook a lot of things in the first book, since the writing seemed OK, and the author did a good job of conveying the despair and hopelessness of Sierra's situation. In this second book, I just can't overlook it anymore.
First off, this book felt very rushed. The first one dragged on, and yet in this one, things were happening quickly. They don't have the same feel to them.
The whiplash in this book is real. You can't tell me that someone goes from hating another person for so long to instantly realizing they were wrong and need to apologize and want a relationship. This happened with more than one person, too. Very few people have that kind of clarity that fast, and they are not high schoolers. It would take time for the mind to process everything before coming to that conclusion. It just doesn't feel natural. And to suddenly love her and wants a future with her, all in the same day. Seriously... people don't work like that.
I was very glad to see that Savannah did not get away with what she did. As I was reading about the video being sent out, I kept hoping in my mind that she would go away for distribution. Thank goodness it happened! I was dreading that she would just disappear into the background and get away with it. My biggest relief is that when Wesley asked for forgiveness and was wanting to get back with her, that she said No! Hallelujah! He definitely did NOT deserve anything from her, and now has to deal with what he did. Consequences are something that are often lacking in these kinds of books, and I am happy that they were felt.
Editing issue that jumped out at me: The word is lewd, not lude. A quick Google search and spell check should have been an indicator.
At the end, how in the HELL did nobody expect this serial druggist and rapist to drug the women while they were there? I 110% expected this. How was this not anticipated and talked about? That's just stupid.
The dialog in this book, especially in regards to a relationship, is just horrid. Definitely felt like a high-schooler wrote it, but no way would they actually talk like this. This book was barely a romance, much less a RH. I didn't really feel any chemistry between anyone. The spice could have easily been dropped (it felt like it was only there as an afterthought, anyway), and then this could have been written as a YA romance. In fact, I am going to put these on my YA shelf, because that's pretty much the vibe through the whole thing. And... am I the only person who kept thinking Cyrus was just a little too creepy? I didn't like him at all, he had stalker vibes to me. I did like the brothers, but the spice and chemistry was lacking for everyone. Another creepy and oddly coincidental is that Rico was her boss at the strip joint, and then happened to be her uncle? That didn't work for me at all, it was too neatly wrapped up in a bow.
I will not read these again, and I can't say that I would recommend them to anyone, either.

I do not know how the ratings for this duet are so high, I feel like I've read a completely different book. I also don't know how I got through both books as there was so much wrong with them. Book 1 felt like a completely different book to book 2. Suddenly we have MC's in there, a child pornography ring, on page sexual assault. It was a lot.
The dialogue between all the main characters was so long and overly descriptive. It was also so repetitive, she had pretty much the same conversation with each MMC multiple times, I skipped loads.
Mostly the chemistry was just lacking with all the main characters. There was no real evolution of their relationships or how they're going to work it. They don't all start dating her until over 50% into the second book. Most spicy scenes are with Cyrus, the others don't get a look in until the last 10%. The others just felt like tag alongs not part of the wider relationship ,it feels very rushed.
There's really too much to go into but quickly- the multi POV, why are we giving chapters from side character POV??? Sam is meant to be 10 but is written like a 5 years old, who has shoulder rides at 10 years old???? 4 of the main characters are 17/18 and it really shows in this book, I can normally change their age in my mind but this was just so incredibly immature at times. The FMC acted like such a brat when all she needed to do was communicate.
And don't even get me started on the evilness that is Wes "This was all just a misunderstanding. A terrible one." Really that's the reaction to you horrifically abusing a girl and sexually assaulting her..... Just no. He was given his own chapters and right from book 1 it was made to feel like he was going to be one of her men. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he wasn't as it went way beyond bullying but why write it like that, why give his POV??
Bully and reverse harem are two of my favourite tropes, the thing with a bully romance there's got to be some redeeming qualities to the person and a really good reason behind it, there wasn't in this book. The harem just was not vibing, I really think it would have been better to just focus it on the bully trope rather than adding the why choose.
One star purely because I did like Cyrus! That was a long review but I feel better for getting that off my chest 😂

If you read the essay/short story that I wrote as my review for the first instalment you will know that I am obsessed with Sierra and her men. This is truly the exception to my no slow burn rule and I could not be happier to be proven wrong about this style being boring.
We pick up from the cliffhanger of book 1 and I was pleased that Bre didn't drag this situation being settled for the meantime. There was more than enough angst going on with Wesley's antics and the building of the harem and relationships therein. Sierra, with Cyrus's support (shout out to my favourite man) slowly but surely lets her guard down with the triplets and it was captivating to watch their relationships develop. With their support, we watch Sierra build her confidence and start to be more outwardly expressive with her resilience rather than keeping it locked inside. When a horrible truth comes out in a truly insensitive manner we get the perspective of Wesley, Sierra, her men and uncle each to their own extent. The manner in which this was dealt with was well handled by Bre and she should be applauded for her sensitivity in dealing with the subject. While it was portrayed in a shocking manner, this is sadly the reality of what happens to many woman and it was not glamourised, just realistically portrayed.
Was I hoping that there would be an addition to the harem? Yes, but I am a bleeding heart and always want everyone to have a HEA. I was a little disappointed to not get my own way but it made sense for the characters and having read in full I can see why it otherwise would not have worked. There was at least enough redemption that it did not feel like a complete loss.
Overall, this was a beautiful story about strength in the face of much adversity and I wish I could re-read both books for the first time again.
In this sequel, the narrative takes a significant departure from the themes explored in the first book. While I appreciated the high school drama and the exploration of bullying that defined the first book, much of this story unfolds within the confines of Sierra's apartment as she recovers from injuries. This shift in setting made it feel somewhat stagnant, in comparison.
That's not the only thing that seemed different. Book one was pretty heavy on Zander, narration-wise, but this one was just Cyrus overload. I honestly got sick of his character. The way he was constantly talking to Sierra about sharing her with the other guys just gave me the ick, especially because it seemed like he was propositioning her whenever it should have been her choice and her decision. Isn't that the whole point of a why choose/reverse harem? The woman has the power, right? Well, instead of "why choose" story this seems to be "Cyrus chooses" story. Ultimately, nothing about the reverse harem aspect seemed to empower Sierra.
As for the story itself, the whole Rico thing was absolutely gross and hard to get past. Who lets their 17-year-old niece become a dancer at their own club? Not only is it morally wrong, but it's also extremely illegal (and incredibly unrealistic given the identity verification and registration process). It definitely rubbed me the wrong way.
As the story progressed, it began to feel rushed, as though it were racing toward a conclusion without giving due weight to the characters' development. Then to top it all off, the ending culminates in a series of disconnected one-shots detailing Sierra's romantic encounters with each of the guys. Rather than feeling like a satisfying climax, instead, we just get the characters climaxing.
Actual rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.25 Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Check TWs before reading.
What a freaking whirlwind this book was! I was not expecting so many twists and turns, ups and downs, and goodness, did Rose have me on the edge of my seat - and near throwing my tablet across the room multiple times as I read this one.
Sierra got her happy ending in this second part of the Breaking Hearts Duet, and I am so glad she got it. It was a rollercoaster of a ride to get there, but she absolutely deserved it.
Fighting the Odds picks up directly from where Against All Odds finished up, so it's imperative to read that one first. Sierra is truly beaten down at the start of the book, but as the narrative moves on, we watch her grow, accept those around her who are offering help, and watch her blossom into the person she's always dreamed of becoming.
Many truths are uncovered - as well as some surprises I definitely did not see coming - and there is plenty of action, mystery, and some well deserved come-uppance for some characters.
I loved watching the boys fight for Sierra, and watch her make them work for their forgiveness, and I love the continued strength that Cyrus provided Sierra with.
I'm still slightly thrown off by the ages of the group given the trauma they're all going for, but I needed to read Sierra get the happily ever after that she so well and truly deserves, that I was able to put it aside for the most part.
I would definitely love to see Rose write an extended epilogue or novella of this group in the future, as I feel their story hasn't been fully told. I also strangely want to see Sierra dealing with a teenaged Sam. Just something about that thought makes me laugh and I feel that will really test her, and her guys.
The book I have waited for the most since reading the start of Sierra's story in book 1 and let me tell you book 2 did not disappoint. So many questions where answered. I cried for Sierra as well as cheered her on, my heart broke when hers broke, and slowly healed with hers, especially with Cryus deep love and support. Lady’s let me tell you all men should take some pointers from Cryus. Watched Sierra from the strong young girl she already had become to the women that she became by the end was such a site to see. Every step she made she did it out of love for her sister but I also loved seeing her do a little for herself when things where all said and done. I don't want to give away too much but buckle up because even though it maybe a bumpy ride...and you may want to jump into the pages and strangle a few men, slap a few boy's upside their heads, you will still feel that it all worked out how it was suppose to be for Sierra. I usually go more in depth with my reviews, with out trying to say to much but honestly I feel this one is going to be better delved into blindly, well of course not totally blind if you have any triggers, and after of course reading book 1. Take my word you want to experience it all come to life as you turn each page as Bre has such an amazing way of doing in each of her books written, so much so I have a hard time choosing a favorite, but this series is definitely at the top of my list of favorites. I have a feeling this will not be the last we see about Sierra and her men. Plus I am hoping for an the perfect meet up of Sierra, Memphis, Arizona and these ladies harem of men…..what a het together that will be….
Bre Rose's "Fighting the Odds" is not just a book—it's a gripping conclusion to an unforgettable duet that had me hooked from the very first page. This book doesn't just meet expectations; it exceeds them in every way imaginable.
The conclusion to the duet is nothing short of amazing. Rose masterfully weaves together the threads of the story, delivering a conclusion that is satisfying. Every loose end is tied up neatly, leaving readers with a sense of closure that is both fulfilling and deeply gratifying.
One of the standout aspects of "Fighting the Odds" is the growth of the female main character (FMC). Throughout the series, we've seen her face unimaginable challenges and overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. In this final installment, we witness her transformation from a hesitant protagonist to a confident, empowered woman who takes control of her own destiny. It's a journey that is both inspiring and relatable, and it's impossible not to root for her every step of the way.
Without a doubt, "Fighting the Odds" is Bre Rose's best series yet. With its compelling characters, heart-pounding plot twists, and emotionally resonant themes, it's a book that will stay with you long after you've turned the last page. Whether you're a longtime fan of Rose's work or new to her writing, this is a duet that should not be missed. I cannot recommend it highly enough—it truly deserves every bit of its five-star rating.
The conclusion to this duet was so satisfying. I’m not joking when I say this is quite possibly the best bully romance I’ve read in a long while.
What I liked… - the slow burn nature of the whole thing, particularly book one. The continual buildup of the bullying Sierra experienced, the gradual growth of her relationships, the speed at which her physical relationships developed - the pacing was great. - the exploration of the emotions associated with bullying - from the POVs of the victim, the bullies and bystanders. - the communication of the main characters. The way they talked to each other was appropriate for emotionally mature teens. Not all the conversations went the way they wanted to, just like in real life. - adults being adults - there were a whole bunch of adults who failed Sierra and Sarah…but there were a lot who (eventually) stepped up and supported them. It wasn’t all on the teens to save the day. - the grovel and the ending. I won’t say more because spoilers, but really, this was exceptionally well done. - the steam - absolutely in the Goldilocks zone. It happened at the right time in the relationships, wasn’t repetitive, didn’t overtake the plot and wasn’t used as a way of earning forgiveness…but was also super hot.
What I didn’t like - nothing.
Okay, I’m off to read Ms Rose’s back catalogue now.
This is Book 2 of the Breaking Hearts Duet and what a conclusion to Seirra’s story. This story has everything: secrets, betrayal, bullying, and tears with sweet and spicy times with Seirra and her guys.
This story starts right where Book 1 ended, with CPS removing Seirra and Sam from their apartment and separating them. They also report to Sierra that a call also came in of her hurting Sam.
There is so much that happens in this story that I do not want to give any spoilers. While Sierra, Cyrus, Zander, Braxton and Colton get closer, there is still Sierra’s need to get her sister back from foster care.
Be prepared for another emotional ride. How can one character endure so much? While there is a HEA, part of me was hoping for another piece to be added to the group. I totally get why it could not happen, but part of me was holding out hope.
This author does an amazing job with her why choose romances. She keeps the plot moving with action and angst. She also allows the FMC to develop individual relationships with each of her guys as well as showing how the group comes together form a family. Her writing has a lot of emotion. You will go from emotional highs to lows but it so worth it.
I not only say that this Duet is a must read, but I strongly recommend you check out other books by this author.
🌶️: 2 Bully romance, why choose. This is book two and picks up immediately where book one left off. I have to say that yes, this is technically a why choose because she has more than one love interest, it doesn’t really feel that way because she’s really with one guy for about 80% of the book. She has a couple dates with the others but that’s about it. The writing is very basic making it a quick read. This dragged for me and was pretty boring and repetitive at times. It was way too long for what it ended up being. There was a lot less bullying in this book compared to book one. Finally at the end when you thought we’d get to read about the comeuppance to those who did the FMC wrong, it was rushed through so quickly, I was actually confused by what I was reading. Like I had to scroll back over it a couple times to figure out how it jumped the way it did. The last 5% of the books it’s like the author was like oh shit, this is a why choose she should probably be with the other MMCs and created fade to black scenes with the other characters. Honestly, it was just weird. Overall I didn’t really enjoy this one so if you’re looking for a bully book then read book one but speed read and skip to get through book two.
The long, anticipated conclusion to Sierra and Sam’s stories has arrived~ CPS has come, and all heck has broken loose! The one thing most the sisters feared has happened. In separate homes, not able to see one another, is killing them. All the men in her life will be supportive of what is yet to come. Wesley will be eviler and more intolerable than ever, especially when he learns something new about her.
Turns out, Sierra has a relative…just wait until you read who it is and who else is brought into the fold! I was so excited to see some familiar names and characters~ When they appear, you know the things about to happen will not be good for the others involved. The growth and maturity shown by the characters in the story is very lifelike. Thrown into situation after situation, they will hopefully live up to the standards needed to succeed. They all have a long way to go and sometimes justice is mete out in ways vigilante style~ I was sad to see the end~ Hopefully, these characters will show up in future books. Buy the duet, for an incredibly tearful experience that will leave your heart aching, wanting more, and hoping for happiness for those involved!
OMG!!! Finally 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 It felt like we were waiting on this for forever…okkkk, a slight exaggeration, but tell that to my heart, cause it was going crazy over here 😝😂 I was so ready to finally find out what happened after that ending, and Bre did not disappoint 🙌🏻 Watching Sierra’s determination to take back her life & fight for her HEA was all that I had been waiting for & more. I loved seeing her guys be there to support & back her up…not to mention the encouragement & love they brought to her life during this book. I’m torn on which one was my favorite, but I gotta say that Cyrus just squeaked by a little more in my heart 🫶🏼 Of course I was also here for the spice level because it was 🥵🔥💦 When you add in all the twists & turns, the perfectly paced storyline so that you always felt motivated to turn that next page, and the awesome peeks from some past characters…you get a story that will play with all your emotions, not to mention the ending that Sierra wholly deserved 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I would wait even longer than I did to finally get this amazing book because it was that good, but I’m also still really glad I don’t have to wait anymore 😂
