overall, informative. but some things the author doesn't elaborate which seems to be on purpose. for example Zoroastrianism. the author says the concepts of heaven and hell among other things came from Zoroastrianism, which there is no evidence for. in fact even Zoroastrian historians admit that the religion has changed to compete with other religions and on top of that the writings for the religions were written 4th century AFTER Jesus.
although Zoroaster lived before Jesus, the religion changed so much due to competition it can't be trusted as honesty. it felt weird how those facts were left out.
its funny how in the book, it does talk about Islam and how they claim to be the religion of peace but in other religion segments of the book its shown how violent Islam has been historically which made me giggle. like the Parsi and Baha'i XD
the book goes over Mesopotamian, ancient egyptian, ancient Greek, roman, Aztec, Norse, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Zoroastrianism, Confucianism, Taoism/Daoism, Shinto, Jainism, Baha'i, Voodoo (Which was NOT what I thought it was), Rastafarianism, Modern Paganism and Wicca, Caodaism, Scientology(HA),and Humanism
at the end something that ticked me off was the talk of persecution... because it wasn't about religions!! XD
it was "boohoo, atheists get bullied"
which if you look at the internet for more than 5 seconds you see atheism is not only growing but thriving XD
so many religions are targeted and killed and it came off as super insensitive
the sections I found the most interesting were Baha'i (very new), Jainism, and Shinto.
the sections that sucked were Zoroastrianism (as reasoned above) and scientology (Cuz scientology just sucks in general)
other than the Zoroblahblah I didn't find any other dishonest things (though there was things that could have been elaborated). if I do I'll update this review :>

Kapağıyla ve içindeki konuları ayırıp ,hoş bir şekilde düzene koyup tasarlanmasıyla dikkatimi çok çekmişti.Şintoizm Dinini araştırırken buna da bi göz atmak istedim ve sade ,giriş bilgiler olsa da gayet okunabilir giriş kaynağı diyebilirim.

I liked the objective perspective on all the belief systems and the descriptions were short and interesting. Definitely a great first step into learning more.
