Drunk at an all-inclusive and pretending to be an engaged couple… what could go wrong?
Old flings, new whims, borrowed rings… Blue Film.
Elle Ever since we were little I had a crush on Levi. The happiest day of my childhood was our pretend wedding at recess. Then, he turned into my biggest bully. Ending up at an all-inclusive resort together, intoxicated on the island’s breezes and fruity drinks may lead to a bad decision… like walking down the aisle again.
Levi I don’t do relationships. But I have always wanted Elle, ever since our fake wedding in elementary school. It’s why I was so mean to her. Now we are drunk and alone on an island. She looks too good to resist. Maybe I could make an exception for her.
* A spicy romantic comedy * Childhood bully-to-lovers story * Dual POV
It’s recommended to read RED NIGHT first, but this could be a standalone.

Levi irritated my soul when they were younger lol making fun of the girl he is crushing on smh no bueno. But now they are all grown up and Elle is beautiful and sexual and not afraid to show it , she is the kind of girl people claim to have slept with…. Levi and her meet again, although they are now grown, being together seems still to be impossible, family drama and all that. Very smutty and loved every second of it. I will def be going back and reading Red night. Thank you for allowing me to read the arc !!!
✨Review: This book was an absolutely ride that I did not see coming. Not only is it wholesome and Levi is just adorable but there are also some parts that have you saying “what the f” to yourself. I laughed so many times throughout this book. I loved the progression of the relationship between Levi and Ellie. Their HEA was adorable. Looking foreword to the next book in the colour series!
This was my first Kitty King book and it won't be my last. I enjoyed the story and the twist towards the end was unexpected. The spicy scenes were great but I do wish we had a little more heat in the hot tub scene. I love a MMC who pines for ages for the FMC and that's exactly what you get here. Some of the banter could have been better and the two main characters had serious communication issues, but overall a solid read.
WELP. Another amazing read from the Color Series by Kitty King. “Blue Film” was everything I didn’t know I needed in a childhood friends to lovers type story. This story didn’t leave me feeling blue AT ALL! — not even for one second!
King’s writing and story telling is effortless and satisfying from cover to cover. Levi Joseph and Elle Townsend are little kids when they first get married (so cute!) but as they get older, the more Levi teases her and his friends make fun of her and they inevitably grow apart. We meet them again in college when Xavier (BLESS THAT HE IS BACK!) runs into Elle at a party and Levi is like dead in his tracks: the love of his life. Elle tries to fight how she feels for Levi but he wears her down until one night they finally get together. When Levi disappears, Elle is like “mhm great” and Levi is full of excuses. When they two of them end up being the only guests left at Levi’s brothers called-off wedding at a romantic island resort, the two of them seal the deal with each other…. with wedding bands.
The rest of their story is twist after turn and untold secrets you never saw coming to light and struggle and heartbreak but what I love the most about “Blue Film” is the absolute dedication and determination Levi has to keep Elle as his. He fights and he fights and keeps fighting to have and to keep Elle and man, who DOESNT want their partner to go to the ends of the earth to have and to hold you! I mean, swoon. I laughed and cringed and dropped my jaw on the floor more than once during this book and I ate. it. all. up. This story had me reading the book in one sitting — and trust me, you will too!!
“Blue Film” is book 2 of the Color Series and even though its interconnected, to really be able to appreciate the story and the universe King has created for us readers, read “Red Delight” first. You’ll thank me later. I can’t wait for the rest of the series because King has written some of my FAVORITE book boyfriends and is making is so hard to pick which is my favorite! If you love a little angst, a little enemies to lovers, a little “touch her and ☠️”, a little soul mate action, a little struggle, then this is the book for you!

-I have been looking forward to this release and I can't wait for the next one. I love this book, it was such a fun, spicy, sweet read with Daddy Kink. I enjoyed every minute of this book. I love Levi and Elle. I enjoyed the chemistry between them. They both had different issues especially family issues to work on. Levi's dad is so creepy. I love Levi, his love for Elle and the possessive vibe was amazing. I love Elle and how she pushed through everything. I know it was weird but I enjoyed the scene with her father's business partner 🌚.

I love Elle and Levi😩🥰 I also enjoyed learning more details about Xavier and Marissa relationship 🥰 Red night is still my fave tho😋.

If you like some sweet with your spicy, Kitty King’s second book in her Color Series, Blue Film will absolutely deliver. It can be difficult to find a story that’s legitimately engaging on an emotional level and brings the heat. I really, really loved the way King set up the story with a “childhood enemies” scene involving Levi and Elle, but also throwing in the beloved Xavier from Red Night. (While you could read Blue Film as a standalone, it will make the character motivations more believable, and give some different perspective to Red Night.) Levi and Elle are very likable and their chemistry jumped off the pages and burned like a day languishing at the beach.
What I really like and appreciate as a fellow erotica writer is that the love scenes, while very sweet, are also hot as fire, and Levi’s HDE came through to this reader (pun not intended, but hey…it works). And King had a knack in this story for twisting a sugar daddy deal into a surprise I didn’t want to think could be true, but surprised the hell out of me when I discovered it actually was—Ewww Factor 10.
There’s actually a great plot that unfolds where the reader will root for (no spoilers here!) Elle and Levi to give it a go—together—even if it’s not going to be easy. And, when Levi finally found a mentor, I teared up. Yup…sweet and spicy will not disappoint and it will definitely leave you with a fiery little burn you won’t forget.
I really enjoyed this book! Blue Film was a quick, easy read. It was light and funny, with spice and a nice twist. I actually expected it to be dark like Red Night (the first book in the series), but this one was a lot lighter. It has a completely different feel to it.
The dirty talk and scenes in this one had me. I have never liked the whole Daddy or DDLG kinks until THIS BOOK! (I’m serious!) I don’t know why, but this one was just hot. Maybe it’s just the way Kitty wrote it or Elle’s character, I have no idea, but it hit different and I really enjoyed it. This book isn’t as spicy (or dirty & twisted, iykyk) as the first book, but it has just enough.
“That’s it, my little girl. Take daddy’s cock and cream all over it again.” -Levi
Elle & Levi. ❤️ Where to begin? Levi is so sweet and really loves Elle. I loved that Kitty started off this book with scenes from Elle & Levi’s childhood. It really helped you understand and get to know them so much better.
“I’m the one who told you I’ve had a crush on you since first grade. Yes, Elle, I want to date you. Would you be my girlfriend?”- Levi
I loved their banter and how sassy Elle is. “Ew. No thanks. I don’t do guys that come in their jeans before we ever get started.” -Elle
I can not say how much I have been looking forward to this release. And once again, I was not disappointed.
In Blue Film we follow Levi and Elle stories. What I loved most about the book was Levi’s dedication. It’s refreshing to have a MMC who doesn’t run at the first sign of trouble. While Levi had some growing up to do he accomplished that beautifully with help from Elle. Elle has her own issues she needed to overcome and through some trial and error, she pushes through. Both have to navigate their paths while dealing with toxic family members.
My favorite quote:: Sometimes it’s better to have the family we create instead of the one we’re given.
IMO this wasn’t as spicy as Red Night, but the overall character development and story more than made up for it. But don’t worry, there’s still spice 😏 This was such a fun, easy, quick read that’s definitely worth the time.
Another steamy and fast paced read that u devoured so fast. It definitely had more shocking twists than Red Night and it was insane how it all tied back to things in the book. I was shook and here for the drama. This is Elle and Levi’s story that was giving “friends”/frenemies-to-lovers vibes. Both having crushes on each other as children, but in true boy child fashion, Levi becomes her bully. So when the opportunity presents itself to be with Elle, he jumps on it. Their relationship, while fast paced, faced a lot of external hurdles that proved to be a challenge. Having grown up with very little control over their lives, they made a decision for themselves and their families didn’t take kindly to that. It was insane from start to finish and I cannot wait for the next one!
Y’all.. this book!!! I went on a full on rollercoaster ride with Elle and Levi let me tell you!! The twists that Ms. Kitty King put in there… full on whiplash.. had me yelling at fictional characters like they could hear me... I may have threatened and been hating on one or 2… iykyk… you’ll see what I mean. The way the relationship between Elle and Levi progresses is intense and beautiful… the way they continually choose each other is amazing!! The spice… is spicing (not sure that’s a word.. but it fits). This is the 2nd book in The Color Series… it’s not required to read book one.. but trust me you definitely want to!!
I thought Levi and Elle were the cutest thing when they were younger. Then as time goes by they had some missed opportunities. I was floored that Elle was a cam girl well actually more who her “daddy “ was. I didn’t see that coming at all. These two were made for on another and even though there were parties opposed to their union Elle’s dad rocked. I loved watching these two fall in love with one another and have amazing spicy scenes. I really enjoyed this book.
This book had some good moments! I liked the childhood friends to lovers. I like how Xavier was a nice friend trying to help them get together. The dad aspect really through me for a loop! But I did enjoy this book! I can’t wait to read the next book about George!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Well that’s it…I’m dumping Xavier from Red Night for Levi *swoon* Levi & Elle Levi could be a pain in the ass at times but with a father like his who could blame him…he definitely had touch her & I’ll kill you vibes & Elle….her mom was a nightmare but her dad was one of the best… Levi & Elle had crushes on each other for so long…it made sense that they would end up back in each others life in their college years Levi’s dad though uh CREEP…makes you think twice about having a sugar daddy or being a sugar baby Adam & Whitney’s wedding was definitely the turning point for Levi & Elle…why yes I’ll take the honeymoon suite thanks 😉 I loved that the timeline was the same in Red Night & Blue Film so you got a little overlap…I also liked that even though this could of been read as a stand-alone without causing confusion we could still see some details about Xavier & Marissas life too Over all it was a great read with the right amount of spice to go with the storyline Overall it was a great read & fast…I had a hard time putting it down…now I’m ready to meet George in the fall
To appreciate this book you need to have a love of the spicy. It kicks off pretty quickly with a decent amount of spice in the first little bit. The storyline was good and the MFC was well written.
This was a quick & hilarious read. It was a great spicy romcom that had me actually laughing throughout the book. The one liners got me lol.
Levi made some poor choices growing up and ended up “bullying” Elle when he really actually had a crush on her. When Elle starts going to the same college as him, they both cave to their attraction. Their families are close so they end up having to go on the same trip to the Bahamas and their lives are never the same.
Before Elle’s & Levi’s relationship starts to bloom, she depends on her web cam sugar daddy to give her the attention she needs. The DD/LG kink in this is strong lol.
I can’t wait for the third book!
𝐓𝐫𝟎𝐩𝐞𝐬: 🖤 Possessive Frat Boy MC 🖤 Cam Girl Sugar Baby FMC 🖤 Childhood Bully to Lovers 🖤 DD/LG & Praise Kink 🖤 Loves to Eat Kitty 🖤 Spicy RomCom - Banter 🖤 HEA 🖤 Plot Twist 🖤 Dual POV
𝑭𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝑸𝒖𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒔: “Look at my camera while I pound you.”
“Was it possible to get a blue clit?”
“Mmm, that’s a good girl, coming all over your daddy’s cock”
Thank you for the arc in exchange for my honest review.
That fact that I double read this book just shows how much I loved it. This series is delivering EVERYTHING!!
Did I love Red Night? YES Was this like Red Night? NO Did I still love it? HELL YEAH
The whole history between Levi & Elle couldn’t have been more perfect in my eyes, yeah Levi made his mistakes but the way their story starts had me rooting for them from start to finish. There were times I was literally screaming when other people were meddling, his dad was the worst of the worst, but from their first moment under that tree until the end of time Levi & Elle were meant to be and there’s no way you can convince me otherwise.
Again, the spice killed it in this one, it’s not the same vibes as Red Night - this one has a Daddy Khink 😉 and I was honestly eating it up. I think I was eating up Levi in general cause when that man speaks… the seas part.
I’m recommending this book to those who like the spicy side of life, and want the added cuteness of a childhood friends to lovers couple, however also don’t want it to be too easy so will enjoy each and every twist and turn that’s keeping them apart.
✨eARC review✨ Blue Film By Kitty King ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Dirty. Filthy. Smutty. Cute. Addictive. And oh so good. Those are just some words to describe Blue Film 😂
Levi and Elle were childhood friends. They always were drawn to each other. In middle school they had a moment at a party. Then came college, and Elle was very much into guys, to put it nicely lmao Levi, was let’s say, very into women 😂 A night in Bahamas changed their relationship forever!
I had some type of an idea of who her sugar daddy was…idk why but I just thought it was who it was! But when you actually found out I was still in shock lol definitely as not expecting her sugar daddy to be who it was 😳
Levi and Elle had such a disfunctional start to their relationship but glad it turned out the way it did!
Overall, Blue Film was fast paced but a really good read! Spice in all the chapters! Had a MMC who was romantic with a side of filth!

Elle and Levi have both crushed on each other since they 'got married' in elementary school. Then, Levi and his friends relentlessly teased her… They go to college together and things just never quite line up for them. They decide not to fight the attraction at a resort and pretend to be engaged… and the craziness ensues. ❤️
This is a book filled with angst, hurt, fun, and times of happiness. So many emotions in a fairly quick read. I cried a few times and I was angry at a couple of characters a few times as well. This book made me feel and that's a good thing! Oh my heavens, the spice is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and oh so nice. I found the character development to be good and I liked seeing Xavier's character evolve more after Red Night. (This is book 2 in The Color Series. There are characters and events that carry over, so it would help if you read them in order.)
If you enjoy super spicy times along with a gambit of emotions, I recommend this romance. ❤️
“Do you, Levi, take this woman to be your awful wedding wife?”
“Sorry I made a mess, but I had to paint you,” I said to her, out of breath. “You look so beautiful covered in my c^m.”
“Winter white sunshine flowing Sparkling over me in waves Orchid vanilla breezes blowing In your arms, I’ve been saved.”

Blue Film is book two of the Color Series by Kitty King and she did not disappoint. It’s a cute and funny romcom between childhood enemies Levi Joseph and Elle Townsend who started off with a quick elementary wedding and ended up “hating” each other growing up due to an incident by Levi. Levi has a horrible controlling father, a mother who abandoned him and he is not looking to settle down. Elle has a loving supportive father but a mentally abusive mother who controls every decision for Elle. They both going through the motions trying to find their ways until a chance encounter. One drunken night and another marriage to seal their fate. I loved the plot. It was so funny and sucked me right into it. I’m not a huge fan on miscommunication trope and Elle was all that but it was so worth it once it finished the book. The spice was amazing. It was giving off all the Daddy Vibes I wanted. I especially loved how this book entwined with the previous and how the characters (Especially Xavier) made appearances in this book. Over all this was a great read and I’m excited for everyone to read this! You won’t be disappointed..
And let’s talk about Levi’s poetry.. it had me swooning! 🫠🫠🔥
“Sometimes it’s better to have the family we create instead of the one we’re given.”
Also, can we talk about the plot twist! I was not expecting that at all.. just goes to show you everyone has something to hide at the end.. Especially Daddy Warren! 🫣
As always PLEASE check your TRIGGER WARNINGS!

I have to preface this with Kitty King is a magician with book boyfriends. The MMCs are always top tier, maybe sometimes unhinged, but hey no one is perfect.
We begin on a scene of a childhood wedding of Levi Joseph and Elle Townsend, but even if Levi like Ellie he can’t let anyone know, so he bullies her and coins the nickname “Smelly Ellie”.
As time goes on Levi continues to tease her, his friends make fun of her all to so no one can find out his true feelings. This causes them to grow apart, as Ellie is carrying animosity and resentment toward Levi for everything in their past.
Not to worry though, in college we meet the two again when Xavier (my favorite unhinged zaddy 😜) runs into Elle at a party and Levi is shook: the love of his life has appeared. Now Elle continues an internal struggle with how she feels for Levi, but the charmer he is ultimately wears her down. One night they finally get together and as history has taught us *poof* Levi disappears. Elle is obviously having major internal “i told you so and how can you be so foolish moments”while not buying into Levi’s excuses.
As fate (she’s a bitch sometimes) would have it the two of them end up being the only guests left at Levi's brothers called-off wedding which is at romantic island resort. What else can you do when your childhood love is with you…alone, you get married of course and relive your childhood fantasy!
The rest of the story is full of twists, turns, buried secrets, struggles and heartbreak. The thing I love the most about "Blue Film" is the absolute dedication and determination Levi has to keep Elle, no matter what. He fights for her and keeps fighting to have and to hold Elle, she is EVERYTHING to this man. So to say I was continuously swooning is an understatement. I laughed, cried, gasped, cringed and obviously swooned. I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting. It’s a quick, fast paced read that checks all of the boxes.
"Blue Film" is book 2 of the Color Series and even though its interconnected, to really be able to appreciate the story and the universe King has created for us readers, read "Red Delight" first (trust me you need Xavier in your life)

This is the second book in the Color Series, the first book is Red Delight: Xavier’s Delight. Yes you can read this without the other but there’s definite crossover between the characters that you’ll miss out on without reading the first book.
First I’m gonna say that Levi is a total sweetheart and even though he was an ass in the prologue you can’t help but fall for him shortly after that. The way he feels about Ella just melted my heart 🫠 Ella has a tough exterior and let’s people think whatever they want of her, it doesn’t matter if their perception is wrong … until it does matter.
I loved that this book ran on the same timeline as Xavier and Marissa story in the first book … and I can only assume that White Hole, the third book will do the same thing. And while this book isn’t as k!nky as book one there is no shortage of 🌶️ 🥵 between Levi and Ella, the beach dinner scene *chefs kiss*. Also get ready for some plot twists.

ARC REVIEW I See You Looking at My P.I.C… There you go again, Miss Kitty King. First, I never experienced so much secondhand embarrassment in a book as I did with “Blue Film”—it was painful but great! Unlike Book 1, “Red Night,” “Blue Film” is lighter but not lighter in spice. The themes involve Dd/lg, pr@!se, pøss£ss!ven£ss, and filming. Please read responsibly.
Levi has known Elle since they were kids, even getting fake married on the playground, but then Elle went from being known as “Smelly Ellie” to something more to Levi as she grew older. Over time, Elle struggles with her unhealthy relationships with men and how she feels about Levi after a few unexpected interactions. They emotionally go through so much — yet there’s humor, poetry, sweet romance, and firey scenes.
Kitty King writes the hottest, steamiest, spiciest scenes in “Blue Film.” But spice aside, the story is so much more. And the twist? Or should I say THE TWISTS!!! I didn’t see any of them coming. Nope. I had set my Kindle down more than once.
Kitty King is my new One-Click Author. I will impatiently wait for what she has in store for us readers in the future.
I received a copy of this book for free and am leaving this review voluntarily.
Levi and Elle were childhood friends, crushing hard on each other and even having a pretend wedding. But then Levi turned into her biggest bully, and now, many years later, they meet again, and the sexual tension between them is undeniable.
So what happens when they suddenly find themselves drunk at an all-inclusive, pretending to be an engaged couple..?
"You've never been married before? Well, I do it every Tuesday."
Levi is so wholesome once he gets over himself and wants to make things right with Elle. She definitely doesn't make it easy for him, but he won't give up, needing her in his life.
"I love you. I'm not going to give up on us, ever. No matter how much you try to push me away, I will fight for our marriage."
One thing I especially loved was how they were helping each other through their issues with their toxic families. Kitty did an amazing job portraying their internal conflicts.
"Sometimes it’s better to have the family we create instead of the one we’re given."
Blue Film is an easy, quick, and fun read with a nice twist and great spice—especially if you enjoy the daddy kink. 😏
"You hear me, dollface? You're my little girl, and I'm your only daddy."
Well, Kitty King has done it again. She's created one hell of a story, a plot twist that had me audibly gasping, an FMC with sass and an MMC who I have gone on a rollercoaster of emotions with finishing up with loving him.
Not only does Blue Film have cameo appearances by Xavier and Marissa from Red Night, but it also shows a new side to Xavier. This new side is a caring friend. But enough about Xavier.
In Blue Film, we meet Levi and Elle. Both in possession of some of the worst parents in literature. They got married in elementary school. They were each other's first kiss, and then it all fell apart.
Levi just didn't know how to act, but I'm blaming his horrific father for that.
However, when they find themselves on a beautiful all-inclusive island with a wedding going spare, they take the plunge and get hitched!
What follows is one of the most incredible spicy journeys, with the aforementioned plot twist (seriously Kitty King is the queen of them) and, of course, a HEA.
Kitty King fills Blue Film with so much action, smut, and plot that I couldn't put my Kindle down. Oh, and there's quite an epic line about responsible s3x in there where I almost lost my drink!
Blue Film Book Two of the Color Series Written by Kitty King
Before I start my review I want to state this is the only book I’ve read in this series so far. That being said, “Wow!” I really enjoyed this book. For a new upcoming Author Kitty King is one to watch. She has the ability to make one heck of a page turner. She can touch on different subjects in a way you will not get lost. She has a gift of making you recall each character as the story goes along which is very impressive to someone like me with ADD (attention deficit disorder).
One of my favorite things about this book besides all the naughtiness is the sweet little poems that are placed throughout the book. I’m a sucker for romance. Plus Ms King has a great way with pacing all the different topics perfectly. I was engrossed with this story. I recommend this book to adult readers that are open minded and don’t mind reading about some adult fetishes. Ms King does push the envelope. With that I’m looking forward to reading the other books in this series and can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. I give this book a 4 1/2 stars out of 5.
"Feel free to walk through the cage door any time. It’s open. I'll be waiting outside of it." Levi Joseph is daddy! His relationship with Elle goes from adorable to holy hotness. Nothing makes me swoon more than a childhood crush turning into a full-blown romance. Elle's glowup was such the perfect touch to this book.
Y'all. Blue Film is definitely made for those of us who love to beg daddy for more. Levi and Elle's story starts right at the beginning, a cute moment that most of us have been through with a childhood crush. Unfortunately, boys just don't make a whole lot of sense when we are younger. They're kind of like a sour patch kid. Sour then sweet, sweet, and then sour. As our duo grows up, the crush grows with them. The awkward stages lead to a pivotal moment for both Elle and Levi. Gone is the awkwardness, Elle & Levi find their paths crossing again in college. The playboy and the young woman who wears a mask to appease the crowd. Their collision is fast and HOT. Want to know how their story ends? Read Blue Film on July 1st! You won't regret it. You can dip your toes into the world Kitty has created by reading Red Night (The Color Series Book 1) in the meantime.
This is my first time reading author Kitty King. This is a fun read. The characters kept me engaged. Levi and Elle are a cute couple. They encounter lots of twist and turns before they get their HEA. "Alright let daddy take care of it" Levi to Elle
🔥Daddy Kink 🔥Childhood bully-to-lovers story 🔥Spicy Romance 🔥Plotting parents 🔥Filming 🔥Romantic poetry by Levi 🔥Spanking
Elle and Levi have loved one another since middle-school. They shared their first kiss; however, they did not want others to know about their feelings. The book is their journey of finding each other. They stumble with other people and themselves. Levi's dad and Elle's mom are terrible people. Always plotting and very pretentious. The only parent rooting for them is Elle's dad Will. He comes to the aid of Levi. They finally manage to acknowledge their feelings and move beyond Levi's dad and Elle's mom.
I really liked the story and its keeps you entertained. The author Kitty King recommends you read Red Night first and I am going back to read it.
