Accredited law schools have entered a new online. In this new territory, there are barriers to overcome and successes to be celebrated. This book is structured to partner with beginning online law students throughout their journey of their first year. The best part? The lessons learned just keep on giving as the advice in this book is relevant throughout the entirety of the online law school journey. This book is co-authored by actual online law students who lived the experience as non-traditional online law students at an accredited program. Learn from parents, spouses, full-time working professionals, interns, CALI winners and subject strugglers, and even traditional, accelerated and extended pacers.
The attorney I work for gave me this book to read because I expressed interest in pursuing law school. I really like how the tone is casual/conversational and isn't overwhelming with a lot of legal jargon. It had a lot of good tips, especially with different methods of outlining for law school classes, the importance of networking, and preparing for exams. I also liked that the book emphasized taking care of yourself and having self-care routines while in law school, as I tend to get stressed out easily when it comes to academics and how well I'm doing in school.
