CHAPTER 69. THAT'S IT. THAT'S THE REVIEW.

Me parece criminal el hecho de que este volumen se haya publicado en Japón 1 mes después de que viajara a allá, y por ende no pudiera comprar este volumen y tener el capítulo 69 en físico en mis manos. Muerte al que haya decido publicar el volumen hoy y no a principios de mes.

this volume was adorable and very funny again. it also had lots of romantic content which i loved. the artstyle is so pretty and the characters all are fleshed out so well, i love how mashiro makes us feel connected to even the smaller characters.

Review of the series thus far:

I had my doubts at first - Yamada seemed like that typical uncaring guy that a lot of Shojo manga features. And Akane annoyed me in the first few chapters. But as the manga progresses, you really do see a different side of Yamada - and he grows as a person, which is so refreshing. As for Akane, her strengths shine, too, and now I really enjoy her as a character.

I also loved how the videogame aspect is so in-dwelt in the story, and most of the main characters are gamers. 🥹 and they get to be loved on, though the story doesn’t shy away from how gamers tend to be treated irl. I appreciated how the story both celebrates gamers yet also shows how lonely it can be when you don’t have people around you who understand that lifestyle.

My one qualm with this story was how quickly the central relationship escalates into intimacy. That’s a personal pet peeve, and it was exacerbated by the fact that the timeline felt difficult to keep track of, so it really felt like the characters were jumping headfirst into that aspect.

But I freaking LOVE this cast of side characters, man. And any drama is handled maturely, with communication and growth between the characters involved. Alongside the romance, there are so many great friendships, and they are IMPORTANT relationships, especially to Akane. I never got the impression she was abandoning her friends for a guy, so she gets extra bonus points for that.

So do I recommend it? Not for young teens or kids, or for anyone uncomfortable with a (non-explicit, but it’s very obvious what’s going on) intimacy scene. Tho If you skip Chapter 68 or 69, I think you’d be mostly fine.

But yeah, I’m enjoying it so far and looking forward to seeing what other characters this guild collects along their way. :-D

Me encanta la relación de Akane y Yamada en este volumen. Eso es lo único que pido en un shojo: una relación bonita, madura y green flag.

No me esperaba la escena (no explícita) +18 que tiene este tomo, y lo digo como algo positivo. Siento que se trata como lo que es: algo natural en una relación romántica de dos adultos. Es un tema muy tabú en el manga y me encantó cómo Mashiro lo representó.

Con respecto a los personajes secundarios, como siempre, 10/10. Mis favoritos siempre son Runa, que es súper divertida, y Eita, que es de lejos el mejor personaje secundario que he leído en un shojo.

Con este volumen confirmé que Akane y Yamada son un bi panic para mí; no sé cuál de los dos me gusta más. 🕴️ 🫠

Este manga simplemente tiene muy buenos tomos! Me encanta la historia y me encantan los personajes <3

Spoiler de las cositas que pasan aquí:

-Se gradúa Yamada!!! no puede seeer ya es un chico mayor jajaj, Akane al fin puede dejar de perseguirse tanto.
-Akane conoce a la madre de Yamada! Oh wow, fue un encuentro interesante, y las escenas del pasado en que se menciona que Yamada solo va a presentarse a su madre a la chica con quien vaya a casarse, significa que ya se lo está planteandoooooo, me encanta esta pareja.
-Yamada entra a la universidad y para él es todo muy tranquilo, pero Akane lo ve con otra chica, y comienza a pensar cosas equivocadas.
-Akane vuelve a su pueblo pues su madre está enferma. Cuando llega resulta ser nada muy terrible, pero le hace bien pasar un par de días allí desconectada, la ayuda a pensar mejor las cosas.

Que relación tan linda tienen Yamada y Akane 💘, me encanta como van avanzando su relación.
Ese momento de suspenso me dio un buen susto, aqui hay escenas muy intensas 🔥🛐, Yamada puede ser muy sexy si se lo propone 👌🏼.
Adoro como no dejan de lado la amistad del Gremio, sigo amando de Eita 😍 y por fin se ve el poder de Kamota-san.
La sorpresa del final me puso ansiosa pero fue agradabe 🥰, y esa promesa de Yamada ¡ME DERRITIO! 💕

This one felt more like filler to me. I know we got a big relationship moment but most of it felt like it was about her neighbor. It wasn't about their group of friends or about them as a couple as much. It was just okay to me.

I know this has 3 more volumes out right now and the release is sporadic at this time and that might be a good thing so the author can get better and deliver the story they want.

Pasaron muchas cosas en este volumen, comenzando por el vecino odioso de Akane y cómo Yamada literalmente RESOLVIÓ. Además dieron pasos muy importantes en su relación y me tienen toda feliz, me encanta cuando las cosas se dan así de bonitas. Hasta ahora hay pequeños momentos de drama (no entre ellos), pero en general es un romance bastante sano y wholesome, me encanta.

Todo lo que me desesperaba Akane al inicio ahora lo amo.
Creo que proyecta mucha seguridad y cariño al resto, prueba está cuando Tsubaki decide presentarse al verla. Esa interacción es tan bonita y natural "una amiga con la que juego y cada que alguien pasa me pregunto si es ella." Qué bonito.
