Just about finished going through this once and will certainly come back to revise certain sections. It gives a good plain and concise overview of key concepts in Calculus, without getting into too many of the more technical and algebraically complicated areas, such as with Trigonometry. In fact, trigonometry is almost completely absent from this book, so if that is important part of your study you will need to find that elsewhere. The try it exercises format, that you can do while going through I found to be very useful. builds confidence at doing an exercise while the process for how to do it is still fresh in your mind from the section you have just read. I have the more detailed book on Calculus Early Transcendental Functions by the same authors, also, which will be important if you want a more comprehensive treatment of undergraduate level Calculus. That book is very good also, only it would benefit from try it format of exercises as they really help to ease you into doing the more complicated exercises on your own.
