This serial/series keeps getting better as it progresses!
Scott comes up with an innocent request for Joe. But the Dominant takes the idea and runs with it. It's "Boots Night". Don't know what that is? I didn't either but I sure learned quick.
"Sex makes me less nervous than talking to you."
Poor Scott didn't know what he was in for. Loved it.
And the ladies restroom scene was icing on the smut cake. But the cake part? That is Joe an Scott starting to learn each other and build a foundation between each other. Definitely plan on reading more of this series!

The third volume of the series is as hot and full of learning about the two men as the first two. It is Scott’s turn to make his wishes known, and, using the by now familiar method of sending a letter, he carefully words what he wants.
Joe is touched by Scott’s shyness, and he gives Scott what the sub has asked for – except, he does it in an unexpected way. I love that he then wonders if he went too far when he notices exactly how uncomfortable he has made Scott. It almost sounds as if he is ready to withdraw. Luckily, he finds another solution to make it okay for Joe.
Scott is trying to adjust to the fact that Joe still seems interested in him. His slow realization that he may be in this for longer than he had hoped for both excites and scares him. After an extremely hot encounter, the next envelope appears and Joe is back on familiar ground: receiving orders. The relief is palpable.
If you like D/s stories which explore the difficulties of an extremely shy sub telling a Dom what he wants, if you love power play that results in very hot sex and still allows both partners to learn about each other, you will probably like this book.

Okay kids, I deliberately waited to review this series until I finished book 3 and I am running--RUNNING to buy book 4 which just came out!! OMG--that's it--that's all I can say. This is one of the hottest little series I have read in a long time. Each Pushing the Envelope is a sweet little glimpse of the growing relationship between Jo and Scott. Scott began the little courtship as any good submissive should by cuffing himself to a bed and sending the Dom (Joe) he secretly lusted after a note to come and play. With each installment the two give and receive a note that asks for their next request. Well, Scott asks, Joe simply orders! In this 3rd installment, Scott simply asked to see Joe naked--and, of course Joe acquiesced--Joe style. So this chapter finds Scott, after being paraded around in front of many other naked men in boots getting the sex of his life in the Ladies Room--yep--the Ladies Room--LOL. You have to love Kim Dare's humor!
All I can say of these stories is that they are SHORT--really SHORT and amazingly HOT and SEXY! And, on top of it all...you just want to hang in there and see where this relationship goes. Honestly I am falling in love with Scott--a sweet, sweet boy and slowly but surely I can see the depth of these two characters as Ms. Dare unwraps each subsequent little sip.

I feel that Joe is pushing things a little, but Scott is willing to learn, to see what Joe is willing to share with him. I enjoy this series, nice short little reads. But I am getting annoyed at the expense, having to buy each chapter. I think this is going to be my last foray into that type of purchase as this is a "cute" series but I don't believe I should have to purchase chapter after chapter.

“Ask and you shall receive” is what initially comes to mind to describe this series followed very quickly by “be careful what you ask for”. Such is the case in this installment of the series. Scott just wants to see Joe naked (yeah, who wouldn’t!), but that request comes with a price. Is it too high to pay?

This series is designed to be read pretty much like each book is a new chapter. They are not standalone short stories and if you only read one or two, you will not get the full impact of the series as a whole.
In this book, it's Scott's turn to send a letter, and with the shyness and submissiveness that makes Scott so appealing to Joe, Scott asks I thought that this was a really cute request, but the manner in which Joe fulfills Scott's request turns out to be very interesting indeed!

Scott gives his envelope with a request of seeing Joe naked. Joe responds by taking Scott to a Boots Only event at a club. They have sex in the ladies room and Joe decides it's time to expand Scott's experiences. He gives Scott an envelope when he drops him off with instructions on not opening it until the morning.

I really like both MC's. Scott is so naive in what he wants from Joe. He is kind, shy and unsure of himself. You simply want to cuddle Scott and make sure he is safe and in good hands. Joe on other hand, knows what he wants and that's Scott. This third part was as always short but good.

Each of these is a nice and sexy little foray into a new experience for Scott. Despite them each focusing around a sex scene, the mild interactions they have as well and their inner thoughts help us to feel a connection with them. And to feel a Connection forming between them.
