Tidal Wave
Antonio was out walking the beach before the sun was up. He was unfairly
burdened for a kid of fourteen, but he quickly learned that his troubles at
home were nothing compared to the new problems he had now.
He was the only witness to a terrible plane crash that happened in those
early morning hours. Two men had been in the plane; one walked away,
the other lay unmoving on the sand. Later he learned the man was taken
to Mercy General; since his mother was a nurse there he was able to gain
access to the injured man, Carlos Santora.
The pretty nurse Fran and that cocky doctor they called Max McDreamy
were tending to his plane crash victim. Thankfully, Doctor Max seemed
more interested in Fran than he did the man from the beach. Fran on the
other hand seemed concerned, but she was too busy to spend much time
digging for the truth.
It didn’t help his troubles with the detective, though. Detective Donigan
was supposed to be investigating the crash, but he seemed to be spending
more time flirting with Rosa, Antonio’s mother, than he did working on
the case. Antonio didn’t like it but he wouldn’t complain; it kept the
detective from looking his way.
And what about the pretty redhead Antonio sold the Sunday paper to?
Why was she so interested in the man from the plane crash? If he could
only figure it all out. He’d managed to talk to talk to the man named
Carlos twice, but he was no help; he had amnesia.
So much to figure out and he had a feeling he was running out of time . . .

Samantha Fury was born in Eastern Kentucky, the daughter of a coal miner & his loving homemaker. She is an only child so she spent many hours using her imagination to keep her busy. She graduated from high school, married in 1986 and began what she calls her 'life on the road.'
Samantha spent over eighteen years traveling with her husband, through 48 states & Canada. This gave her lots of experience for the backgrounds of her Novels.
She's always has loved writing since the early age of eight; when she wrote 'The Day The Sky Turned Green.' Her imagination takes her many places, and she hopes that her stories can uplift, entertain, and be a blessing to her readers.

This was really good.
I like how Angel keeps going undercover. Now though he has a girlfriend and misses her when he is away on assignment.
He gets in a helicopter accident. The guy flying the helicopter is hurt but not badly, puts his bracelet on Angel and leaves the accident. He is a drug dealer. He is trying to get away before anyone comes. Ut oh, a kid saw him, and he saw the kid.
Along comes the brother, who is also a policeman from Chicago, trying to find his brother. But Charlie, the girlfriend, is also searching to see where Angel is. She figures the last postcard he mailed must be where he is.
They converge on Chula Vista to locate him, hoping he is able to be found there.
This is just a little of what this book is about.
Bring on the next one, Samantha. This is great....

"Tidal Wave" (Street Justice Book 2) by Samantha Fury is receiving five stars from me! It is the second book in the "Street Justice Series" and is just as good as the first one " Charlie's Angel".
In this book Angel is in the hospital with amnesia, or is he only pretending? And what game is the woman playing that is pretending to be his wife! This book really kept this reader turning the pages to this story.
This book's plot takes the readers on a whirlwind of adventure. I really didn't guess that things would end up the way they did!
The only thing I disliked was I wanted a little more detail of how things worked out in the other 2 romances started in this book, but maybe that will be revealed in book 3 but if not I know this is fiction and a lot of things are left unsettled in fiction ( don't like it but guess things happen like that in the fiction world).
I was given an ebook copy for a honest review!

A decent read...
There were a lot of characters to meet and that was a bit overwhelming at first. I thought about just chucking this one aside, but I'm glad I stuck with it. Charlie and Angel confused me for the longest time...I thought Charlie was the male and Angel the female. Glad to get that squared away. They were a cute couple, though I wasn't sure how realistic Charlie was in going after Angel knowing he was undercover. I really liked Fran and Max... and, Antonio was another secondary character.

There were too many side plots in the book.

This second book about Charlie and her Angel has some interesting characters added with other love interests to keep the metaphorical pages turning. More suspense and adventure along with the action and love interests would hold my interest even without the added character of Antonio, but he is someone I'm glad I met. Samantha's characters are all so realistic even the characters who wouldn't usually attract us to them have a lI am looking forward to reading the third book.side.

I loved the first book in this series and enjoyed this one just as much. It was fun picking back up with Charlie and Angel and their lives. Another wonderful mystery including a little romance all told from a Christian viewpoint. I wasn't ready for the story to end and have already downloaded the third book in this series and look forward to reading it.

Another excellent Christian fiction novel. Angel is on another undercover assignment and ends up in a hospital. Many twists and turns in this story. It really kept me hooked all the way, so I could not put it down until I finished. Now, to read book 3 in this series.

Another great suspenseful book. I enjoyed the intrigue and romance. A lot of great issues and who doesn't love a cop story.
