Ah, yes, I see we’ve entered the Frank Tieri years: when WOLVERINE comics became bad knock-offs of cheesy 90’s fight movies. Hell, the second arc of this volume is even called “Blood Sport”!

The art is also less than thrilling—Sean Chen, who worked so well on Busiek’s IRON MAN, is too clean and precise for Logan; Dan Fraga, by contrast, feels like Liefeld without the manic energy.

If your tolerance for cheese is high (or you’re a completionist), there might be something in here for you. Otherwise, skip it.
