Rate this book
TIME IS AN UNCONQUERABLE BEAST! Tempo traps herself and Bishop in a time loop of her past trauma. Will she be able to allow festering wounds heal so she and Bishop can figure out a way back home? Meanwhile, the War College students are fighting for their lives, and the lives of Krakoa's mutants, against the Struckers and Orchis. Help may be on the way, but timing these days has a funny way of putting our favorite mutants in the worst positions possible. Read the last issue of the WAR COLLEGE miniseries to find out how this time-warped, action-packed plot ends!

Was anyone actually satisfied by this?

Bishop was introduced as a drill sergeant in the first issue. In this final issue, he is inexplicably gushing about his "students" and giving them flowery letter grades. As is typical for this Krakoa era, we had lots of info dump pages, and it felt like this particular issue had even more than usual.

The plot itself was... Paper thin?

The Strucker twins wanted to drill into "The Pit" of Krakoa. They more or less succeeded, but this issue had the obligatory fight scenes. Andrea and Andreas used their power once, and it wasn't particularly cool or inventive. They touched hands, fired an energy blast at Bishop, and he absorbed it. Yay.

The alternate timeline was resolved with simple hand waving. Tempo was just able to transport Bishop and herself back to 616. ... That was all. And their takeaway from the experience of going to an all-black mutant reality is to just muse to each other about how there is a better world out there. ... That is a complicated, loaded assessment of a questionable storyline.

This whole thing was just bad.

A Very Entertaining and Enjoyable Issue.

I enjoyed and was very entertained by this issue.
I was mostly intrigued by Bishop's final evaluations
of the war college participants.
