INDIA RETURNS! Just in time for his big role on the silver screen, India returns for his first miniseries in almost twenty years! Pavitr Prabhakar is back, fresh from "The End of the Spider-Verse" in in his own universe's Mumbai. But things aren't exactly simple. There's a science professor promising results, activating people's "lizard brain" along with a ruthless businessman who may be more than he seems… Don't miss the break-out Spider-Character of 2023!
This was fun. I like seeing the different events of the spiderverse and how each character has parallels but it's not exactly the same.
I also did deeply enjoy this character in the movie, and I love the movie design. It's just so much more. But I also like Pavitr being able to interact with the others, and seeing how those relationships exist together. and what it means to not be alone vs being alone and how "far along" in his spider-man journey he is. So I'm pretty excited for this 5 issue run. We'll see where it goes.
Even though I was confused through parts of this, I found the story fun and the art quite nice. Love the characters in this story as well. Not gonna lie, the food drawn in this book looked AMAZING
Absolutely loved this. This has been one of my favorite spider man comics that I have read so far. I cant wait until more issues come out and I can continue enjoying the story.
Curious to see what happens next! This probably wasn’t the best place for me to start in on Spiderverse comics as a whole, but it’s not too hard to follow.
I love this take on the Spider-Man story, and I always prefer a street-level Spidey to a grand, cosmic, space Spidey. The imminent threat facing Pavitr is the clearance of his neighborhood by a corporation, and that feels exactly right for a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
