So, I know I briefly metioned my involvement in Furby fandom in my Geekerella review, and I'm sure that rose a bunch of questions, if not a few eyebrows. So, let me answer every question that doubtlessly comes to mind when you hear the words "furby fandom":

- Yes, in the year 2017, there is an active Furby fandom.
- No, we're not children nor basement dwellers; a lot of us are teenagers to young(ish) adults.
- The classic 1998-2000 Furbies tend to be the most popular ones in the fandom, but there are people who love the 2005s, and few people have any issues with the most recent editions (Boom and Connect, in case you were wondering)
- We take pictures of our Furbies and furby-buying exploits. That's 90% of what our fandom is.

So what kind of fan would I be if I didn't give this book a whirl? It was actually pretty helpful, and even some of the "secret tricks" that I so smugly thought I would already know had some interesting tidbits. Like how the infared in Furbies can be interfered with using a Panasonic remote, which can then be used to force the furby to do certain actions (like turning off- which is really helpful for a toy with no off button). Overall, a good read that made me smile. Furbies are pretty amazing little creatures.

if you every buy I a Furby (1998) get this book. it's so helpful, it includes how to play games with your Furby and how to make it sing, or dance. Yes, all of these are in the instructions you get in the Furby box but it's in bigger text and more detail.

Thank you to my dad for this wonderful Christmas gift!

My furbies definitely approve of this book. It's very informative, as well as absolutely crazy("Furby, King of the Jungle" and "Indiana Furby searches for the Temple of Doom"). I loved all of it, and clearly had to read it in one day. I'm sure my furbies will appreciate me being more informed on how to interact with them. Awesome Christmas present!

I found this gem at the Library for sale.

I sure could have used this book back in 1998.

Loved the Furby Scrapbook.
